Remy woke up next to Emmitt the next morning. It was Saturday, so they didn't have to worry about class. He got up and got breakfast, and when he came back, Emmitt was still sleeping peacefully, but Allen was awake.

"Why would you let this weirdo stay the night?"

"Umm, I don't know," Though he had already eaten, his brain still wasn't up to maximum capacity, so he couldn't think of something witty to say. "He's just... Well, I like him."

"You really have a way with words, Remy," Emmitt said sleepily with his eyes still closed.

"Thanks. Hey, do you guys wanna do something today?"

"Not with him," Allen gestured to the big lump currently resting on the bed.

"You love me and you know it," retorted the lump. "You just have trouble coming to terms with your feelings."

"See?" Allen said to Remy. "He's just gonna be saying stuff like that all day."

"But isn't that part of the charm?" Remy smirked.

Allen glared, "What would we even be doing?"

"We could go to stores and buy discount Halloween stuff."

"That sounds like something my grandma would do."

"Well, discount Halloween stuff includes candy, so..."

"Okay. Have fun with that."

"Yeah, we will," Remy sassed. "It's candy, bitch."

Allen gave him a weird look -- not unlike the one he gave Emmitt the night before-- and walked out.

"It was nice of you to invite him," Emmitt said from his position on the bed. "We're actually going discount-Halloween shopping, right?"

"Obviously."

With that, he got out of bed and pushed Remy out the door. "Let's go!"

"What? You're wearing last night's clothes and you don't even have your wallet."

"You can just pay for me."

"That's not happening."

"We'll stop by my room," Emmitt said, still pushing Remy and almost running him into walls.
