The Party

(Mia's POV)

After a while of the guys taking turns to explain different aspects of what an Oracle is, and explaining what a mate bond is I don't blame them for hesitating. Once they had found out that they were both my mates, each one feared I would choose the other over them and/or chose both of them but favored the other, ultimately rejecting the other and causing a great deal of pain or worse... death! Despite all the mess of trying to understand everything, we eventually got some study time in before the party.

Wilson went ahead of Leon so he could get ready before the party, while Leon stayed for a bit while I got ready. Leaning against the bathroom door frame while I do my hair, "Where is the party?"

"Over at Sarah's place just north of here close to the beach, you want to be my plus one?" I ask, looking over at him as he comes up behind me giving me a hug. We stay that way for a while, closing my eyes as I feel him kiss my neck, "Is that a yes?"

"Alright, but I'm driving." He exclaims, spinning me around and placing his forehead on mine. His hands gripping my hips backing me up against the counter. I hear a low growl come from his chest as he picks me up sitting me on the counter. Before he got any closer I stopped him by placing a hand on his chest and leaning back, gazing at him. "What's wrong?"

"This isn't another vision is it?" I ask sheepishly.

A smirk appears on his face, "So, that's what you saw earlier? No, this is very much real. If you, want me to slow down-"

I close the gap between us, our lips colliding, I hear him inhale sharply out of surprise before leaning further into the kiss pulling me even closer. I wrap my legs around him, I feel my core heat up, his voice rumbles low as his lips find their way to my neck pulling away slightly, "Not yet, we should get ready…"

I moan in complaint, but he was right. He helps me off the counter before grabbing his keys out of his pocket.

"So he does drive?" I tease, warranting an eye roll

I closed the door behind us and locked it, the party was going to be starting in about 30 minutes. I sent a quick text to Brit letting her know we were heading towards Sarah's house.

---

Still a few minutes late, we pull up to the house as a group of teens swarm into the big house. 'It's a good thing she doesn't have any neighbors' I thought as I got out of the car and we headed inside to find Wilson and Brittany.

"Do you see them?" I ask looking around the swarm of teenagers, 'There's definitely more people here than there are at our school.'

"Not Brittany but I think I see Wilson and Sarah over by the pool." Leon yells, I can barely hear him over the music. We head over in their direction, weaving through the crowd of drunk people. When we reach the pool area, Leon suddenly spins me, pulling me to the other side of him. I turn in time to see what would have been the drunk guy accidentally knocking me into the pool, back flopping in with beer and the girl who hushed him in tow.

"Thanks! How did you…?" I say turning to Leon in amusement.

"For the few that I've witnessed, you sometimes mumble your visions. The second you passed out in the car it was like you were repeating at least the last bit to me in your sleep."He confidently replies as we make it over to Will and Sarah, I hand her a gift I had put together at the last minute. Call it corny and childish but, it was a friendship bracelet I made when we took a break from studying. I watch as she opens it, nervous she might think of it as tacky and throw it at me but to my surprise she actually started crying and pulled me into a hug.

That is when Brittany found us holding two drinks in hand, practically screaming, "This party is so SICK! I can't believe your parents let you have parties like this. All I was able to do was a sleepover for my last birthday!"

"Hey we had fun didn't we?"I fain acting wounded.

"True we did have a lot of fun!" she laughs before freezing in her tracks, finally noticing that the guys were not only there but that Leon had his arm around my waist while Wilson, who was attempting not to draw too much attention to us, stood awfully close to my other side looking out into the crowd. "OOh girl!! You've got some explaining to do later!"

She giggled like a little school girl, looking over to Sarah who was surprisingly unphased by this and was looking just past me, 'Did Will tell her what had happened? Wait, doesn't she like-?' I start to think but follow her gaze to see a beautiful woman who looked to be about 19 approaching us never breaking eye contact with Sarah. Wilson, being the one who proudly was the only one to know what was going on until now, leaned over to me so I could hear, "It's about damn time! She made me swear not to tell ANYONE until tonight! She was so nervous about what everyone would think!"

"Hi!" They both awkwardly say simultaneously.

"Can I make you a drink?" the mysterious girl asks Sarah who is grinning from ear to ear nodding shyly before following the girl to the bar.

"Wait where are they-?" I sweep my eyes over the crowd in search of Sarah, when Leon pulls me back.

He whispers, "She found her Mate, little spark."

I look between both Will and Leon with my mouth wide open, "Wait that's..?"

"Yep!" Brittany chimes in, "Werewolves are a tiny bit different from other species-"

"Wait, you knew?" I ask in shock.

"Mia, I've been going to the same small school district with the same people for about 10 years now. How can I NOT?" she starts slurring her words a bit at this point, taking another sip of her drink, she points in the direction Sarah ran off to. "Besides this one's brother accidentally spilled the tea our Freshman year..."
