"Look, I said I was sorry! I'll repay you the money, I promise!" the man pleaded as he was pushed outside.
"Alright, but I want the money as soon as possible or you're gonna regret it..." the other man said as I saw his fists curl up. While I watched his fists curl up I saw at least another five guys come out of the store I guess to make sure the other two that were arguing didn't get physical. At this point, I was really getting nervous because I was a skinny eighteen-year-old girl and those guys looked to be in their early to late-twenties so if they wanted to do anything to me they would have the advantage. But if I had to fight I would without any hesitation. After the other five guys came out, the first two seemed to have calmed down. I was a little relieved yet still on edge. While I believed they were distracted I thought I should start my walk again, even though I didn't know where I was going to go. I hid my blade in my hand so they couldn't see it just in case I needed to use it for self-defense. I put my hood on and started walking away, leaving the seven men to do their business, whatever that may have been. As I got further I could still hear them, I couldn't tell if they were drunk or not because of how loud they were speaking, or if that was how they normally spoke.
"Why's he here at this time of night? He doesn't seem drunk or anything so it can't be because of the same reason we're out here..." one guy said, I knew they saw me now, but I just ignored them and kept walking. I heard one of them say something but it was too low for me to understand.
"Hey, Mister, where are you going?" a guy asked, I could hear him walking towards me but I tried my best to ignore him. I heard his footsteps getting louder as he was getting closer to me, so I started to speed walk because I didn't want to make conversation with anyone anymore, more or less with someone who had two guys almost get into a fistfight over a hoodie. "Hey, I'm talking to you." I heard him start to run to catch up to me, I kept my head down with the hood covering my face in hopes of him just forgetting about it and leaving me alone. When I heard him beside me I quickly pulled down my left sleeve to cover my fresh cuts and hoped that none of the blood would run down to my hand or onto the concrete road and reveal what I was actually doing. "I said I'm talking to you, 'least you could do is look at me while I'm talking, Mist-..." he stopped as he walked in front of me and pulled my hood off my head to see that I was a girl, he looked at me with a confused and surprised look as if he had never seen a girl out of her house past midnight all by herself with nobody around, no friends, family, girlfriend or boyfriend.
"Look, just leave me the hell alone, I was minding my own business and I don't wanna talk to you. So do us both a favor and let me walk in peace, okay?" I told him as I raised my head up and stared him in the eyes, his dark chocolate eyes that looked almost black in the darkness of the road.
"Aww, is the little girl scared~?" a fourth guy asked as he approached us, teasing me to piss me off. I gave him a dirty look, what right did he have coming up out of nowhere and saying that I was scared because I didn't want to talk to them. For all they knew, I could kill them all right then and there no problem, but I just thought that if I try to control my anger they would leave me alone.
"Yeah, after all, she is only what, fifteen-years-old?" a third guy said as he walked into the conversation as well, honestly he looked like he had just woken up from a nap but he was acting just fine. I gave him a dirty look as well, making him do the same to me causing me to get a little angrier at them. All I wanted was some peace and quiet, but obviously, that was a little too much to ask for with seven guys...
"Guys, she said to leave her alone." the first guy told the others, the others just brushed him off and continued to tease me and poke me and just overall annoy the hell out of me. I already wanted to punch the tall guy and slap the guy that gave me a dirty look back, but it was seven against one so I just had to defend myself as much as I could, me being just as thin as a stick pretty much.
