Rage Takes Over

After hearing the scream Jake just fainted. Andrew turned to the direction of the scream. He turned back to face Jake just to see him laying on concrete. For a minute, he thought Jake was just assassinated but gained some courage to check him.

There wasn't any blood on his anterior and if he was shot dead, it would have been a bullet to go deep enough to create a pool of blood to emerge from beneath him within a minute.

Also Jake was breathing. This calmed down Andrew... a little bit.

"Jake! Wake up! WAKE THE FUCK UP! YOU THOUGHT I'D FUCKING LET YOU FAINT ON ME! BITCH, I STRAIGHT UP TURNED AROUND AND YOU DO THIS TO ME?! I HATE YOU FOR THIS." Andrew ranted in the midst of feeling so many emotions and a potentially dangerous situation.

"WAKE UP, I TELL YOU! I WILL---" As Andrew shouted Jake slapped his hand on Andrew's mouth.

"Can you stop screaming at me? It's annoying. Also... how come you brought me here, right now? Who are you again? The guy that I don't like to associate myself with. I CAN KILL YOU RIGHT ABOUT NOW!" Jake was about to pounce on Andrew till the scream was heard again.

"Jake let's go back to your house. I'm scared." Andrew latched on to Jake's arm.

"Let go. I'll be back." Jake coolly walked to where the calls of distress emerged from.

The sounds were coming from a dark alleyway right beside the a building that stood in front of the park.

"JAKE, DON'T LEAVE ME! I'M SCARED! SO, I'M COMING WITH." Andrew shrieked running after Jake into the alleyway.

Jake was already infuriated and his anger was actually something that was more horrifying than actual horror films.

Andrew's Point Of View

I could literally see all his veins popping out in this state, now if I don't get petrified of him or become concerned about him... what am I to do? I still love and care about him.

3rd Person's Point Of View

Jake silently entered the alleyway and mumbled as silently as he could to himself, "This is gonna be fun."

As he felt the adrenaline rise in him, he landed a punch on the guy, who was trying to rape the girl, so hard that he fell on the ground and fainted.

"Well, you're weak." Jake chuckled, slightly nudging the rapist by his foot to see if he was conscious.

The crying girl, at the other hand, hugged Jake.

"Is he dead?!" Andrew asked looking fully petrified.

"I don't know, though if he lives, I'll give him a nice beating and if he's dead... well he deserves it." Jake laughed out.

"Umm... okay. Are you okay miss?! Like... did anything happen or you're safe... and untouched... ?" Andrew asked awkwardly trying to ensure her well-being.

"I'm perfectly fine thanks to him." She replied, finally letting go of Jake.

"What happened anyways? Also would you like us to walk you home?" Andrew asked.

"Sure. I'll tell you how this happened along the way." She sighed out.

"So... I was coming back from work and just passing by here because I mean... I wanted to go home early because today was specifically not my best so I was just passing by here minding my own business till that guy... he started harassing me and said loads of disturbing things that I wish I could unhear but I can't. " She ranted.

"I'll be forever grateful to you both for saving me though." She stopped in front of a small apartment and gave us a deep bow in respect.

"What is your name? Also... did you catch on to what ours are yet?" Andrew asked shyly.

"I'm Olivia Choi." She introduced herself.

"I'm Jake Ellis." Jake introduced.

"I'm Andrew Boyce." Andrew introduced.

"Ellis is a really pretty last name." Olivia shyly remarked.

"I know. It was my mom's last name and is my middle name. I dislike my father so I will not associate myself with him. Neither will I use his name as my last name." Jake spoke stone-faced.

After An Awkward Minute

"O-Okay!" Olivia blushed then said her goodbye to the two.

The two also left the place, heading back home as it was now 8 O'clock and Jake would get his ass whooped if Andrew backed out of the sleep over now.

"Let's go back home." Jake grabbed Andrew's arm, dragging him back home.

Andrew struggled to get Jake to leave his hand as he was going to Jake's house no matter what. Andrew was a person that would keep his word and be loyal and truthful and in this situation... if he backed out at this point, not only will he disappoint his aunt but his best friend too... which he himself wanted to willingly make up to. Still, the grip Jake had on Andrew's arm flustered him.

"STOP!" Andrew shouted flustered.

"Why, may I ask?" Jake asked raising a brow.

"Leave my arm. I have trouble keeping up with your speed." Andrew spoke flustered.

"Sure." Jake said quietly turning back around, pulling Andrew to his side before leaving his arm.

"We will walk in silence or else I'm speeding up again... and your arm is gonna suffer again." Jake smirked.

"Fine." Andrew huffed with his cheeks puffed up.

"Don't know why you're acting like this but stop. I am not only coming to hate it but I'm feeling uncomfortable." Jake rolled his eyes, shivering when turning back around.

Andrew put up music on his small speaker as Jake went to the bathroom to do his simple night routine.

As he came Andrew was dancing shamelessly which made Jake gag out of disgust.

"Can you just not be so weird and so making me uncomfortable for once?" Jake spoke in disgust.

"Nope! If that is what you think of me... then I'll be me more from now on!" Andrew squealed out.

Jake huffed sitting on his bed. Andrew sat beside him as he put a hand on Jake's shoulder.

"We-We need to talk." Andrew stuttered out.

"NO! YOU NEED TO EXPLAIN YOURSELF!" Jake groaned in annoyance as he found his 'self-proclaimed-best-friend', 'very annoyingly ignorant'.

"EXPLAIN WHAT?! WHY I HAD TO LEAVE?! MY MOM WAS NOT OKAY! NO ONE WAS. SO MANY PEOPLE NEEDED ME... where was I supposed to be? Neither did I know... I still don't know what I should have done back then but it has been 5 years since then and you still haven't moved on! WHY DON'T YOU BE THE BIGGER PERSON AND FORGIVE ME?!" Andrew spat his confusion out.

"B-Because... " Jake stuttered whilst trying to find a reason.

"Exactly. You have no reason but what am I even talking about? There was, is and will never be any reasoning with you!" Andrew raged.
