Meeting Old Man Again

Enzo soon reached the market. But he did not know what he should do with the money.

'I should buy some edibles. I have nothing at home.'

He went to the supermarket and started buying whatever things he found that could be eaten. The total came out to be 700 Solari.

"It's good to have money". Enzo told himself.

After that, he left the shop. He was carrying a lot of stuff in both his hands.

'Sigh, wish I had a storage bag'.

After walking some distance his eyes fell on the board of a shop.

'Herbal Warrior Pavillion' was the name of the shop.

'Herbal Warrior? It sounds like a martial warrior's name who must have used a lot of herbs' Enzo thought.

'Let's check it out'

Soon he reached the gate of the shop. What he saw there surprised him. There were three bulky men standing at the gate. But he was surprised to see that these three had power the same as Ki Gathering Level 2 warrior.

'I wonder whether they are Golden Level or Mystic Level.'

He suddenly had an urge to ask these men what level they were but quickly stopped himself. The old man told him it was not possible to see the power level of martial warriors unless they show it. And if he asked them, it would arouse suspicion among other warriors.

He shook his head and went inside the gates carrying bags of food. The shop was crowded. Although he did not know anything about herbs available on this Earth, he still decided to look around. Maybe he could get lucky and find something useful for his cultivation.

There was a display board on the wall of the shop which listed all the herbs available along with their prices. But the prices made Enzo's mouth twitch.

'5000 Solari for 10-year-old Ginseng, 10000 Solari for 20 years old,... what is this? This is too expensive!' He only had less than 5000 Solari, he couldn't afford anything here.

'I would check this place out once I have enough money'. Deciding this, he walked out of the shop and started heading towards his apartment.

While he was walking he saw a girl sitting on a bench on the side of the road with her head down. She was crying.

Thinking something, he decided to check on the girl.

"Hello miss, are you lost?" He felt awkward asking this, cause he didn't know how could a grown-up like her get lost and start crying.

"I..I need money" the young girl said without looking up.

"How much money do you need?" Enzo asked smilingly.

"Eh?!" The young girl raised her head. She said that she needed money subconsciously. She did not expect to hear this.

"I...I need..3000" the girl said without thinking.

Enzo nodded and took out some notes from his pocket.

"Here, take 3500".

Having come to her senses and realizing what was happening she quickly stood up.

"I can't take this, you don't even know me." the girl said.

"I am Enzo and I live at Sky Apartments, Area 51. You can pay me back there." Enzo smiled.

"Oh....ok. I am Ariel. My mother is in the hospital. I have to submit the fees to the hospital otherwise they will throw her out. I will repay you as soon as possible. Thank you so much for helping me" Ariel said.

Enzo nodded. He knew something must be troubling this girl so he decided to help her.

Ariel took the money and quickly ran towards the hospital.

Seeing her run, Enzo chuckled.

A middle-aged man who saw them both quickly came up to him and said "Young man you are so naive, what if the girl was lying?"

Enzo looked at the man but did not say anything. He knew this man would not understand. When he first saw Ariel, he found an aura of Death Ki around her. Death Ki, as far as he could remember, was used by demonic cultivators. These cultivators were evil. Since Ariel had Death Ki on her, she must have gotten closed to something which might have been once used by a demonic cultivator.

The idea of a demonic cultivator present in this world sent shivers down his spine. He knew he would die for sure if he faces one right now. So he decided to help her out so that he could figure out the reason for her having Death Ki.

He smiled at the man, turned around, and started walking towards his home.

"Young people these days.. sigh" the middle-aged man shook his head and left.

After he entered his room he kept all the things at their proper places, sat down, and started cultivating.

It was already late at night when he opened his eyes and stood up.

'My 'Saint Body Chant' can only improve when I put my body in harsh conditions if I do not have any spirit items that have Ki Energy.'

'Let's go to the river. I can practice my movement techniques against the flow of the river. It would definitely help a lot. I should also carry extra clothes.'

Soon he reached the banks of the Zhyne River. It was the same place he saw the old man last time. No one was there at this time.

He undressed and jumped into the pool. Soon he started practicing his body strengthening technique and movement technique against the flow of the river. His movement technique was called 'Thunder Step'.

After practicing for more than three hours he got out of the river. The moment he was going to check his progress, he saw a car stopping near the bench he sat on with that old man. He quickly dried himself and wore the clothes he brought.

His guess was right. It was the same old man whom he met last who got off the car. The old man sat on the bench.

Enzo approached the old man. Seeing Enzo walk towards him, old man William was stunned. He did not expect to meet this young man again that too this late at night.

"Hello, Mr. William! We meet again." Enzo said laughingly.

"Indeed we do. What are you doing here young man at this hour? William asked.

"I was my practicing my techniques here" Enzo answered.

Suddenly a thought struck Enzo's mind.
