Eventually, I became exhausted and laid down on the ground looking at the night sky. At this point, I was unable to cry, so I just laid there, silently. The moon was full and slightly to the left, the stars were bright and colorful, the night was so clear you could see a nebula. "Beautiful." were the only words I could murmur before I passed out

When I finally woke up I realized that something was piled on my back. I shook my body before I remembered my injured leg. 'Oh, Sh--. Wait, it doesn't hurt?' I sat up and looked at my "Injured" leg, only to realize that nothing is wrong with my leg. I look around me and saw the deep footprints I made so I knew that it wasn't a dream.
I stood up and walked around to test my legs. After I made sure that y legs were fine, I say. "Yep, those are good legs." and give them a good slap. I messed around with my legs and looked over my body to make sure that everything is fine.
When I was done messing around I looked up to the sky for a while and estimated the time. "I'd say, it's around 5 pm-ish." after guessing the time I leisurely walked the small distance back home. "There should be some sunlight left when I get home." By the time I got home, the sun was setting.
I stopped at the door of my house and thought. 'Should I make a big deal coming home? Or should I just pretend that nothing happened.' I looked at my clothing and noticed that there are some rips, so I went with the second option. Walking in I heard my family in the kitchen eating, so with my infinite wisdom, I proceed to quickly walk in and sit in my chair.
Considering that I sat down very quickly, my family didn't have enough time to register that I was back. It took them a few minutes for them to register that I am back, and only a moment more to truly realize that I am back, And their reactions are the same as always.
Oliver was the first to say something. "Oh! Your back! we're having beef stew." Then the maid said. "Here's your bowl." and set down a bowl of beef stew. Dad looked at me chewing the food in his mouth and gave a single thumbs up. Mom was the last to say something. "Once your done eating take a bath, leave your equipment in your room so I can fix anything that needs it. And make sure to have your report tomorrow." I swallowed what food I had in my mouth and said. "Ok."
Setting up and taking a bath gave me a lot of time to think about useless/random things Like, "I feel like I'm being sent out on missions, At least I get a reward." And, "I wonder if I can make my own magic style." However, this time the second thought lingered. "Wait, I could do that." I quickly finished my bath and got back to my room.
After getting properly getting dressed in my room I checked and warmed up my mana flow, then I started with some small experiments. The first two ideas I have are, using hand motions to draw and or control magic, and turning flat magic circles into 3D ones. Before I went out to practice, I wrote down the report, then grabbed and wrought my ideas on a piece of paper.
In a clearing in the woods, I started to test my ideas. My first idea for drawing magic was to push out magic and draw some magical stuff, then pray something would happen. Using the same technique as making magic circles, I draw an outline of a water drop and watch. But even after watching for over five minutes nothing happened, It was floating and glowing in the air with no movement. I looked closer at the drawing 'It looks like if an eleven-year-old drew this.' There was a defining silence in my thoughts as I realized. 'Wait, I am eleven.'
With a slight disappointment, I reach out and touch the water drop and touch it, only to be surprised at a water ball the size of my palm to shoot out of the drawing and land around ten feet in front of me. A small divet filled with water was left from the water ball. The first thing that came to mind was.'This could be useful. If it was stronger.' but then I had an idea. 'I wonder if making the drop more detailed would make it stronger?' looking back at the water drop, I noticed that it looks like it has been dissolved.
I used the back of the paper I brought for notes to practice some drawing. After a few hours, my drawing went from empty stick pictures to crapy filled drawings. I conceded after releasing that I'm not going to become an artist any time soon. 'Even in my past life, I was only ok at drawing.' I flipped over the paper and wrote down. {needs practice, but possible.}
After I tested drawing magic I moved on to attempting to making 3D magic circles. My first test was to see if I could bend the spell in any way, and it was a success! but the spell had a bend so small you needed something flat to check it. Feeling oddly tired, I checked how much mana I had left, and saw that my mana was less than an eighth of being full. Considering that the only two spells I used were the water drawing and the slightly bent spell, I knew that the bent spell didn't use much mana, so the only thing I could guess is that the drawn spell took a lot more mana than I thought.
I rested on a nearby tree for a few hours before going back home to sleep, as I slowly got more and more tired while resting on the tree. As I was falling asleep my mind was getting flooded with ideas on how to improve on my two ideas, however, my mind went silent right before falling asleep, and my last thought was. 'Trees are surprisingly more comfortable than I would have thought.'
End.
