Just how powerful is love? .....

A familiar face is waiting for Amor and Do Yun in the parking area standing beside a denim blue painted 5 seater SUV, Jack opened the rear door, and Do Yun got in the car he also opened the front passenger seat for Amor and she obediently got in.

"Good morning Mr. Kim," greeted Jack.

"To the office," answered Do Yun and Jack hurriedly drove.

Amor only gave Jack a glance but he looks serious thus she did not bother to greet him.

The 3 stories high warehouse includes a 2 story office inside with a lot area of 884 sqm. The open space is cemented with a gated entry it can even fit 40 footer vans on access roads and has its own water tank. Amenities include column-free design, fire exits, function room, meeting room, pantry, and reception area. Amor followed Do Yun wherever he went, tried to remember the people he met and took note of whatever he was doing.

After doing his rounds in the warehouse he went inside his 50 sqm office, "That's your table," he pointed to Amor and she obediently went to her assigned station. As Amor looked around it reminded her of Do Yun's home back in the condominium. There is a wall-mounted desk design that leaves the floor free from the clutter of desk legs it also kept his computer equipment pared back and the desk lamp streamlined to maintain the clean aesthetic. Her own desktop appears to float due to its cantilevered design and its position in front of a window. With a desk design so simple, it has been possible to select a more colorful chair design without overcomplicating the scheme.

"Amor."

"Yes, Mr. Kim," Amor hurriedly stood up to get to Do Yun's desk and sat on one of the black swivel chairs.

"Open it," he pointed to the box on his desk and Amor obediently did so and found out it is a brand new expensive phone. "How am I going to pay for this?" she thought.

"That is a company phone, use it. I hope black suits you, there should be a manual there read it so that you will become familiar with using it."

"Ah....."

"Yes, it will be deducted from your salary if you lost or damaged the phone," Do Yun cut her off.

"Oh....."

"No, you cannot use your personal phone," Do Yun cut her off again.

"Uhm....."

"I already sent the email with the details of the activities I need the theme in an hour."

"Ah....."

"Close the sliding door behind you, I'll call you when I need you."

"Oh..... oh okay Mr. Kim," Amor hurriedly stood up with no chance to protest and closed the sliding door behind her that separated both of their workstations.

She then started navigating on the settings of her new phone and read Do Yun's email. She made use of the chalkboard wall that provided a spot to scribble down her notes without causing paper mountains all over the place. Every great event needs a theme. She already read the message that Do Yun will deliver and the key takeaways he wants the conference attendees to have. The best theme she is able to come up she made sure is catchy, relatable, and triggers an emotional response. Do Yun wants the conference to inspire and stimulate conversation thus the theme has to enable that. "Stronger as a team" is probably a better theme than "Achieving improved efficiencies through increased cross-functional collaboration," she thought. The theme is more than just a rallying cry for all participants; it will also guide the company's branding and promotion, from designing a logo to coming up with social media hashtags to printing their posters, brochures, and other collateral. Satisfied with her work, she sent a reply to Do Yun's email with her final theme and immediately received a response "Take your lunch," Amor let out a sigh and smiled to herself.

She went to the pantry and found a single table in the corner, "Thank goodness for the free food," she told herself. "If I will just eat at home and in the office, I can really save a lot," she thought smiling to herself. Looking around she could not find Do Yun, "Maybe he went out for lunch," she told herself and finished off her meal. Her phone lit up and when she checked there is an email from Do Yun, "Is he still working?" she thought and felt guilty.

"The theme is good, we will meet with the core team in 2 hours to discuss the details of the event and conference."

"My head is bleeding already," she told herself but she also thought of Do Yun not having his lunch yet. "What does he like to eat?" she thought. Looking around the food stall she noticed dried mangoes, "I heard Koreans like our dried mangoes very much," she told herself.

When she got back into the office, the sliding door is still closed. Standing outside the door, she leaned her left ear to check if he is busy but could not hear anything. "Is he still inside?" she asked herself. Pressing her lips, she lightly knocked thrice and closed her eyes while waiting for a response. For what seemed a minute, the sliding door opened and when she opened her eyes Do Yun was waiting for her to either step inside or out but Amor can only move 1 step away from the door and could not stop staring at him.

"Why do you always give me that look?" asked Do Yun.

"Huh?" she was awakened from the trance by his question. "Uhm..... dry..... dried mangoes Mr. Kim," she handed the dried mangoes trying to control her barely shaking hands

Do Yun looked at the dried mangoes, "How much is it?" he asked.

"Ah, no Mr. Kim," she shyly smiled. "I thought uhm..... maybe you have not taken your lunch yet so uhm..... I didn't know what you want to eat so uhm....."

"You bought this for me," Do Yun cut her off.

"Yes Mr. Kim, sorry to trouble you," Amor bowed her head in embarrassment.

Do Yun took the dried mangoes from her hand and closed the door.

Amor still stood on the other side of the door and suddenly it's not so clear just what he is to her.
