But the love we create transcends time .....

Anxiously waiting for her children to finish their dinner Amor gave the announcement, "Ah..... kids we will have a family meeting after dinner okay?"

"What is it all about ma?" asked her now 8 years old Emma.

"Oh..... we'll talk about it in a while, enjoy your dinner first then help me out with the dishes later okay?"

After dinner, Amor called her children's attention, "Kids, thank you for helping me out with the dishes. Can I have your attention now?"

Seeing her children looking up to what she was about to say the words seemed to get in the way, "It's now or never," she thought.

"Uhm..... you can see that your father is still not well right?"

"Do you need to leave again to work?" asked Henry.

"It's about that matter that we need to discuss, if only we can afford to provide you our daily needs without me having to leave you again then we won't be having this discussion in the first place."

Upon hearing the news Olivia joined in the conversation, "You just arrived, are you leaving us again soon?"

Amor knows what she should do but she is definitely not emotionally prepared to see her kids being separated again let alone leave them, "Ah..... I won't leave right away, I'll still be here for a few more weeks."

"I guess that would be fine, kuya (older brother) Henry has taken good care of us."

"Oh..... there might be some changes with that one, the company I'm working for has offered your brother a scholarship and if he is accepted then he'll have to stay with me in the city."

"Ma don't take kuya (older brother) away from us," pleaded Emma.

"Of course, it is not a guarantee yet that he'll be accepted. I'm just giving your brother a fair chance."

"Okay, but what happens if he gets accepted?"

"He won't have to start until next school year so changes will not be that sudden and I've talked with your grandparents they agree to take you and Michael in since Olivia can now take care of Jacob."

"How long will you and kuya (older brother) have to stay in the city?"

"My contract has been extended for 2 years but we are allowed to come and visit you every so often."

Theo then immediately opened the door.

"Uhm..... I never thought you'd come and join our family meeting."

As soon as Theo was seated he went straight to the point, "Both of you don't come back empty-handed."

In Amor's mind, she can only hope that this will be the last extension she will need to accept from Do Yun but she doesn't know what tomorrow brings to her and her children.

South Korea 8th of November 2022 Tuesday 5:08 am.

Seoul stops at 9 p.m: South Korea imposes new curbs as virus cases hit a nine-month high.

Kim and Lee's family have been leading the country and in Asia in the electronics and automotive industry since they married off their children Do Yun and Ae Cha. Now that they have successfully expanded in the Philippines, they need to take in another partner company which means looking for a good candidate to marry off their children especially their now 10-year-old daughter Chaewon. When both companies were able to bounce back immediately when they set up a feasibility study in the Philippines, they have been eyeing the telecommunications industry led by the Park family who happens to have a 12-year-old son named Min-jun. Do Yun and Ae Cha's success can be credited to their commitment, dedication, and teamwork not as a couple but as business people. Marriage in South Korea mirrors many of the practices and expectations of marriages in other societies, and, as such, is constantly changing but for Do Yun and Ae Cha's family, it seems to be the same. When they got married the wedding ceremony was held in a wedding hall in one of the most luxurious hotels in the country. Both Kim and Park's family have agreed to arrange a meeting, although it is ultimately up to the couple to decide if they want to marry given the fact that their union is for business purposes, the marriage is most likely to happen. Since both children are still young the parental pre-screening process will be scheduled 3 years after if all goes well in the meeting but since this is a merging of two companies there is much less of a chance of family opposition to the marriage. Now that they intended to stay for another 3 years in the Philippines, they transferred to a highrise condominium in Cebu this time with 2 bedroom units each.

After having a long conversation with her children, Amor went inside their room to discuss her plan with Theo immediately.

"We will leave on the 2nd of December but Henry will be back right away the next day."

"This is the best thing to do, I don't think I'll get better soon so might as well consider this as a long-term condition for you," answered Theo.

"I will start packing the clothes now for Emma and Michael and we can leave together in the morning of that day."

Just then, Henry, Olivia, and Emma went inside the room also "Don't worry pa I'll do my best to be accepted as their scholar," said Henry.

"Since you have discussed your plan with the children there's nothing more I need to say then," and Theo went to bed to sleep.

After Amor explained the situation to her older children Olivia protested, "So you will leave me here alone to take care of father and Jacob while you take care of kuya (older brother) Henry alone in the city?"

"Olivia, I know you don't deserve to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of your father and Jacob at your age but this is not permanent."

"I can take care of Michael ma but I will miss you and kuya (older brother), Henry," cried Emma, and Amor is now in tears as well.

Been a year and there will be another two years that she will be away, her memories with her children are becoming blurred.
