Doubts dispelled, love revealed .....

They just started work in the office and Amor still has a backlog of tasks from yesterday. Good thing she still has another week to complete all the unfinished tasks before her class on the 14th of June Wednesday starts.

When they were about to go home, Do Yun looked exhausted and Amor felt the urge to do something to make him feel better thus she approached him.

"I need the minutes of the meeting in Hangul tomorrow morning," said Do Yun.

"Ah..... yes Mr. Kim," she secretly gave him a sly leer. "How can he still think of work now when he's already exhausted?" she asked herself.

"Today went well, I expect you will still deliver the same quality of work even though you will be attending your classes already."

"Oh..... my job is a priority Mr. Kim," Amor frowned a bit.

Out from nowhere Ae Cha went inside the office and sat beside Do Yun that caught him off guard. For some reason, it made Amor uncomfortable since it's the first time she saw Ae Cha in his office.

"Good..... good afternoon Mrs. Kim. Uhm..... Mr. Kim, I'll go ahead and bring the stuff to your car now, please excuse me."

Waiting at the front passenger seat Amor kept looking at the rearview mirror for any sign of Do Yun. "Why did Ae Cha come to the office? Are they going home together??" she thought.

"So, you will be a student once again next week?" Jack broke the deafening silence.

"Huh?" Amor wasn't expecting Jack to ask her something.

"Your class will start 2 weeks from now, right?"

"Ah..... yes Jack that's right. Why do you ask?" she politely answered.

"Nothing, just wanting to have a little conversation with you while waiting for the Kim's."

"Oh..... is Ae Cha going home with us?"

"I heard Mrs. Kim asked Samuel to go on an errand but he's not back yet and she already wants to go home and since Mr. Kim is now ready to go home so might as well go home together."

"Uhm..... that makes sense, but what's taking them this long to leave the office?"

"Do you mind checking on them?"

"Ah..... why don't you check on them since you thought about it?"

"Hmm..... let's just wait for them instead."

"Oh..... now that's a better idea."

"Good, but if you want to check on them just let me know."

Amor felt a little annoyed that Jack is insisting on her to check on them but don't want to offend him, "Uhm..... let's stick to the waiting game, shall we?"

"I think that was Samuel that just passed us through."

As soon as Samuel arrived Ae Cha and Do Yun both came out from their office building and Do Yun waited for Ae Cha's car to leave first before he got inside to the rear passenger seat of his own car. "Ah..... Mr. Kim.....,"

"Let's leave," he told Jack and the car immediately came to life.

"Oh.....," Jack already drove away before she can say something else.

"Amor, you were trying to tell me something."

"Uhm.....," Amor looked around but could not find Ae Cha's car. "Maybe they went on a different route," she told herself. "I just wanted to say that I thought Mrs. Kim was coming with us."

"Obviously she's not."

"Ah..... yes I can see that now."

"Don't forget the minutes of the meeting in Hangul tomorrow morning."

"Huh? Oh..... yes Mr. Kim I'll try to work on it later tonight so that I can submit it to you first thing in the morning."

Do Yun tapped her left shoulder thrice, "Thank you but tell me if you need help with the translation okay?"

"Uhm.....," her heart seems to know the answer better than her head since it's beating again like a drum with a thunderous noise it could ever make as if she's going to war.

Thinking of what she needs to accomplish tomorrow overwhelms her since she needs to submit the minutes of Do Yun's meeting in Hangul first thing in the morning as she promised. Ineffective board meetings, a problem that far too many companies experience, are a liability to the future financial efficacy of a company– on top of being a waste of critical time and personnel resources. During Do Yun's board meeting they were able to determine long-term issues that were brought before the board: approval of the annual financial plan, the product roadmap, a briefing on a major partnership, the new product launch, an acquisition, an international launch, or a new marketing initiative, where issues that impact the long-term value of their company and needed to be viewed and voted upon by the board of directors. For this type of meeting Amor created a Board Book: she uses the agenda as a table of contents for her board book. She then gathers the reports and information she wants to distribute in her board book so the directors can be prepared before the meeting starts. Since her paper board books are cumbersome and a pain to assemble, Do Yun suggested switching to cloud-based board books, known as board portals, which can further streamline the process of properly informing their board before a meeting. She then distributes the board book, through the cloud with a cover letter explaining what they will be discussing and what decisions will need to be made. This will cement the purpose and strategy of the meeting; what needs to be discussed and decided upon. A board meeting is not a place for reports, it is a place for making actionable decisions about the strategy of their company. During the meeting Do Yun writes and finalizes his one-page summary to the board. He uses a "Red/yellow/green" format which gives his board a sense of urgency and context to the decisions being made. The day after Amor needs to distribute the minutes amongst the board, provide any follow-up materials that were requested so that they can hit the ground running on strategic initiatives and decisions that were made. While making a board meeting effective may seem similar to herding cats, Do Yun prefers it with proper preparation and strict adherence to his agenda, his board meetings are most of the time effective and reduce potential liability to his company.

Suddenly it's not so clear to Amor if she's just a personal secretary for Do Yun.
