Only love is real .....

Days, weeks, months, and years have passed Amor and Henry were unable to go home because she plans to accumulate 2 months' worth of vacation before her contract ends hoping she will no longer renew. She has missed all the birthdays of her children, all school activities even her parents' medical check-ups. She channeled her time and effort into becoming a better personal secretary every day while being a part-time student. Her major project is to become an advanced reader of Hangul which she was able to accomplish. Henry seemed to be able to adjust well in his new school and have grown closer to Chaewon every day.

Every class runs a little differently or does things in a different order depending on the teacher and class dynamics, but all classes will have certain things in common. School days were designed to blend a balance of routine so they felt at home and knew what to expect, and variety to keep them stimulated and learning. Starting his studies at a new school was exciting but also nerve-wracking, as he has no idea what to expect. In fact, he felt very overwhelmed by it all. Tons of questions filled his mind: What will my first day be like? Will I understand my teachers, who may speak a foreign language? Will it be easy to make friends?

On the other hand, Amor ensured she made the most of her classes and professors, starting from her very first day of each course. Simply put, college is not high school. Her professors expected her to be more independent, adventurous, and responsible than her high school teachers presumed. She once entered the lecture hall uninformed and meek, thus she was not able to perform at her optimal level and missed important opportunities. Her classes were always the best way to discover internships, access academic help, and decide her major or path to graduate school. Especially for her first class, she made an extreme effort to be punctual. She set three (or more!) alarms if that's what it takes to leave early from work. She then heads to class with fifteen or twenty minutes to spare. If she's too early, she wanders around, read, or grab a coffee. However, if she's late, she'll have no choice but to draw attention as she enters. Since she drifts off easily she considered sitting in the front. She also considered her schedule. Since she has a class in ten minutes across campus, she needed to be near the door in order to run out as soon as the class is dismissed. Left with no choice, she gave herself at least half an hour between classes that will maximize her chance to be on time and ask questions after class (one of the best ways to distinguish herself). She also has more freedom to organize her notes in college. Her professor didn't require a binder or folder, leaving her with more options. The first day of class was usually unofficially deemed "Syllabus Day" and she almost definitely received a syllabus. For this reason, a folder or something to organize and hold papers was a necessity. If the class has handouts, she keeps them. She also uses an accordion folder, folder connected to a notebook, or binder. She doesn't just stuff her papers into her bag– since these are important documents she'll need to keep intact because she's going to need to refer to these all year long. If she's taking notes by hand, she brings extra pens or pencils. Because she doesn't want to disrupt a quiet classroom by asking for a pen. However, there will be someone who does forget their writing utensils. Thus bringing extras and lending them hers is a great way to make friends. Since she's willing to keep up with a key to organize her notes, she also brings highlighters. Since she doesn't want to lose notes and is very organized, she considered keeping them all in one notebook. They were not tested on anything they learned the first day. Some professors merely use the first class as a way to pique their interests. Certain classes have a maximum number of absent days, so she kept track of her sick days. Other classes tend to remain in the same seating configuration as the first day. Thus, she doesn't want to come in late or sit next to distracting friends. For days she may miss, she needs to obtain the notes somehow. Gone are the days of obtaining notes from teachers (like in middle school). Spotting a possible source for notes in the class, whether a friend or just an acquaintance, saves her from missing out. She makes sure she puts away her phone, especially since her class has less than thirty people. She utilizes the time to make professional and social connections (and to learn a thing or two). The first day of classes is a professor's first impression. Thus she makes sure she didn't show up in her pajamas or fall asleep before everyone's seated. Most importantly, she always makes sure to be there. Her first day of the course is probably one of the most important days of the course, apart from exam days. She thought that the first day of class isn't important because she doesn't actually "learn anything," which couldn't be further from the truth. She thought that students who enroll later are able to catch on. However, the students who enroll late in the course are only able to catch up because the professor helps them by giving them the necessary information– since she's already enrolled, then she doesn't have this luxury. Vital information comes on the first day– thus she used this to her advantage to map out her game plan for the course. She used the first day to feel out the professor, the course material, and, oftentimes, the professor will divulge information about the exam formats, quizzes, and other class policies. This is all important information she doesn't want to miss– so she makes her first day of class count!

During all this time she knows she couldn't touch Do Yun nor hold him though she wishes she's really close to stare for him.
