"This cave is giving me anxiety." complained Avery

She runs out of the cave with Nines to take a breath.

"I don't think Argon is going to make it." said A2

"Why are you so negative?" asked 4S

A2 glared at 4S and he immediately looked away in fear.

"A2 is right, I don't think he made it. He doesn't know the area and it's just him." I said

I sighed and 8B looked very uncomfortable.

"Why did Creed even send him in the first place?" asked 8B, "Is it because he had something that he wanted to give to someone?"

"He probably just sent him for 2B." said 12H

'What could he possibly give me?'

Avery's POV

"How did Gianna and the others live here?" I asked

"I don't know but it must be hard for them." replied Nines

We walked deeper into the forest filled with giant trees.

"These are beautiful." I whispered

"You're beautiful." mumbled Nines

"Huh?" I asked even though I heard it

"Nothing." he quickly replied, his cheeks turning red as he lifted his hands up in innocence.

I smiled so I took this as an advantage. I pinned Nines to a tree trunk and leaned close to his face. I was taller than him, by like 3 inches so I looked down at him.

"I heard what you said though, why don't you tell me the truth." I whispered in his ear

I could feel him shiver when I whispered to him. I licked his ear and he squirmed a bit.

"I said that uhh you're beautiful." he whispered

I smiled and kissed him in the lips. He gasped as I aggressively kissed him, taking control by cupping his cheeks with both of my hands. He grabbed my waist and kissed back, our tongues fighting for dominance.

But suddenly I heard a groan, not from Nines but somewhere near us. I stopped, Nines heard it too so he summoned his sword as I drew my pistol out of my holster. I crept around the tree trunk slowly when suddenly a bloody hand appeared and on the tree in front of me. I gasped and backed up with Nines. An injured android slowly started to come out from behind the tree, his head was bleeding and he was clutching his side. He was wearing what most of the resistance androids were wearing.

"H-help." he groaned

He fell to his knees and collapsed onto the ground.

"Nines, help me pick him up." I said

He nodded and I bent down and he helped put the android on my back. I began to carry him towards the cave.

"I'm. A me-messenger." whispered the android

"Stop talking, we're going to help you so don't worry." I said

"12H!" yelled Nines as we got to the front entrance

The others got up and ran towards me as I lowered him to the ground.

"12H help him." said 2B

Suddenly the android grabbed my arm and pulled me in.

"Creed." he groaned

"You're Argon?" I asked

He nodded and squeezed his eyes shut in pain as 12H began to heal him.

"Creed, he's in cough cough, he's in trouble." he whispered

2B grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up.

"2B!" gasped 12H

"What do you mean he's in trouble?" growled 2B

"Creed, he's surrounded." groaned Argon, "Machines, army."

"Why didn't he tell me with that hawk? Why did he send you?" asked 2B

Argon coughed and pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket.

"Map." he cried

"2B, he needs medical attention now or he's going to die!" yelled 12H

2B let him go and 12H got back to work.

"Creed, isn't alone cough cough." said Argon

"What do you mean?" I asked

"He's back at the camp where there's over 200 androids." whispered Argon

"What is he doing right now?" asked A2

"He's probably done fighting by now. But the main reason he sent me was because of the map." whispered Argon

He groaned as 12H patched him up.

"He's fine, 9S check his maintenance." said 12H

"2B, Creed wanted me to tell you something." whispered Argon

2B looked down on him as Argon looked up.

"He told me to tell you that, he's doing fine. He's not hurt or in danger. So don't worry about him so much." he whispered

2B sighed and looked at Argon.

"Thank you for risking your life to come here." said 2B

"Creed's, going to make it back home." whispered Argon, "He's a hero."

Nines finished up and nodded towards me.

"Creed, always talk about you." whispered Argon

2B's cheek turned pink.

"He always admired the one's he's around." whispered Argon

I heard distant running footsteps and saw Gianna, Jackass and Lisa running towards us.

"You found him?" asked Gianna

I nodded in response.

"He also wanted to know how a woman named Avery was doing." he whispered

"Me. Well, I'm doing fine." I replied

"How's your child?" he whispered

"He's home, doing well." I replied

"That's good." he whispered

Argon sighed and closed his eyes.

"Who hurt you on the way here?" I asked

"Machines." whispered Argon

2B then kneeled next to me.

"How long have you been with him?" asked 2B

"For a year. He saved me when I was surrounded by a bunch of machines." said Argon

"Is he emotionally okay?" I asked

"He never changed but was he always hopeful?" he asked

"Yes he was from the beginning." I replied

Argon smiled weakly.

"He gives all of us, hope." he whispered

"He's fine we should get him to Anemone once he's able to walk again." said Gianna

Argon sighed and laid on the ground so I gave him some space.

"We should let Anemone know." said Nines

"I have a question though." said Argon

"What is it?" asked Nines

"Who taught him how to fight?" asked Argon

"2B did, she was his teacher." said Nines

"You were a good teacher, I've never seen anyone fight like him." said Argon

2B smiled and shrugged at me.

"Is he protecting the androids there?" asked 2B

Argon nodded.

"It took us a while to trust him so the best lancer went against him." said Argon

"Did he win?" I asked

"With ease." smiled Argon

2B smiled again and kicked a rock in embarrassment.

"How much longer do you think he'll stay there?" asked 2B

"We were attacked, so he lost a lot of time tracking down the humans. He's going to decrease the amount of people in his squad so that he can move faster." said Argon, "If I were to give it an estimate, it'll take him a month to track them down at most."

"Wait, how did Creed win the fight?" I asked

Creed's POV

"Calm down, I don't want to fight." I said

"Shut up, we can't trust that you're human." snapped a guy with a spear

He hit the ground with the butt of his spear and got into a fighting stance.

'Damn it.'

I drew my sword out and twirled it with my hand. I've been training at night everyday all the time. Using 2B's advice every night I improved but I was nowhere near her level.

All the androids in this camp gathered around and cheered on the android with the spear. He smirked at me as he twirled his spear, showing off.

'Cocky.'

The android with the spear charged at me and tried to stab me.

"Swaying someone off balance is one of the best ways to win a battle."

I ducked to the side and swung my sword down at it and then hit it back from underneath, causing the android to lose grip of his spear just slightly. I then swiped his leg and he fell on his back. He tried getting up but I threw my sword at him but not directly at him but at the ground next to his head. The sword gets stuck on the ground next to his head.

Everyone stays silent, the android I fought started blinking his eyes in defeat and started cursing under his breath. I approached him and pulled the sword out of the ground and helped the android up. He seemed hesitant to accept my hand but he took it.

"I'm a human being, I have heart. If you still don't believe me check me. But my mission is to get everyone here back to where I live. A place where you don't have to experience violence, a place where you can have peace. A place where you can call home." I said to the crowd

Everyone seemed shifty and confused.

"I'm also here to look for other humans just like me." I continued, "So please, I need your cooperation."

4 days ago from present time

Creed's POV

I stabbed a machine as it fell to the ground. The battle was over, we won. I pulled out my sword and sheathed it back on my back. Other androids began to help each other, tending the wounded or carrying bodies of the dead ones.

"We won." sighed Josiah

"We have no rest, we lost time. We need to catch up with those humans." said Ethan

"Ethan's right, we move out in 15 minutes." I said, "We need to move fast, pick the 4 androids with the most stamina."

"Understood." said Josiah

I watched as the androids broke apart the machines and put them in our storage for use.

"Creed." called out a voice

I turned around and it was the leader of this camp, Eda.

"What is it?" I asked

"Thanks to you, we suffered less androids." said Eda, "Without you, we would have fallen."

I looked around at the destruction.

"We were just lucky that we're inside an abandoned castle." I said

Eda hung her head in defeat.

"Eda, don't feel so worthless." I said, "Without you there wouldn't have been an android camp in the first place."

She nodded but started tearing up.

"I promise I'll lead correctly next time." she said

"You did well, there's nothing for you to feel sad about." I said

She nodded and left to help the others.

"Creed, would you allow her to join?"

I turned around to see Josiah with a female android behind her. She had a bow with a lot of arrows on her back with a short katana on her hip.

"She believes she's capable." said Josiah

"What's your name?" I asked

"My name is Ella sir." she replied as she stood up straight

"Ella, you don't have to be so formal." I said while smiling

"Oh okay uhh Creed." she replied

"Josiah do you think she's fit?" I asked

"She has remarkable talent with the bow." replied Josiah

"No offense, what's an arrow going to do to a machine?" I asked

"It's modified." said Ella

She pulled out an arrow and showed me how there was a bomb on the arrow, a small bomb.

"I see, very innovative." I said

"I can always make new ones." said Ella

"Would you mind demonstrating for me?" I asked

She smiled and nodded so we headed over to the shooting range. Ella looked about Nines' height, a child I should say. She acted like one too, when I asked her to demonstrate she was dancing a bit, moving her arms in small motions.

When we got to the range she pulled out her bow and 5 arrows. She then started firing at different targets, her reload speed was crazy fast, it took her less than a second to reload and she didn't have to look at the string to reload. Every arrow exploded destroying the targets and finally, for her finishing move she pulled out three

"Woah." I awed

"How was that?" asked Ella

"Amazing but like uhhh..." I trailed off

"What is it?" asked Ella

"You're still a child." I said

"Hey just cause I'm shortdoesn't mean I'm a child." pouted Ella

'Ah shit.'

"Fine, you can join us." I said

Ella jumped up and started doing a victory dance which was kind of funny.

"Is the team ready?" I asked

"Yea, they're waiting for us." replied Josiah

"Ethan?" I asked

"Yea he's with us." replied Josiah

"Do you think Argon made it?" I asked

"We'll know when we receive a hawk." said Josiah

We left the range and approached our team which consisted of George, Josiah, Ethan, Ella, a recon expert named Apollo, a stealth expert named Ken, a spear expert named Evan, a gun expert named Koi and a running athlete named Havoc

"We're leaving now." I said
