Counter Attack

2B's POV

I groaned as my eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Ah you're awake." said a voice

I looked up and saw the boss standing in front of me.

"We got all the female YoRHa androids and the female human." Said another male

My eyes widened as I saw A2, Avery and 12H next to me, their hands tied to a chain, hanging a few inches off the floor just like me.

"Leave me. I need to have some fun." said the boss

"Dont you fucking touch me." I growled

"Ooo, an aggressive one." chuckled the boss

"Boss!"

A thug barged into the room looking frantic.

"The human, he's coming." said the thug

"Creed." I gasped

"He's still alive?" asked the boss

The thug nodded and the boss sighed.

"Let's go." said the boss, "Guard these four."

The thug nodded and left with the boss as six thugs came in.

"Do not touch them, they're mine." said the boss as he left

"Yes boss." replied the thugs

The thugs left and I sighed, worried for Creed.

'Please don't die.'

Creed's POV

"Clear." said Josiah

I shot a wounded thug on the floor and left the hallway and onto the staircase.

"They're all in groups of four." I said, "We'll pick them one by one."

"Got it." said Ethan

We began to make our way up the staircase to the next floor. We entered the hallway and we quietly crept through the hallway but then I heard multiple footsteps coming towards us.

"Sounds like it's more than 4 guys." said Josiah

I signaled them to quickly hide and we went into a bathroom and hid in the showers.

"I heard gunshots somewhere here." said a thug's voice

"We'll hear their gunshots soon and when we do, we'll follow it." said another thug's voice

"Hey check the bathroom." said another thug

I pulled out my sword and waited for the guy the thug to turn the corner. My heart was thumping as I heard footsteps get closer and closer to us. My entire body felt hot and I was covered in sweat.

The thug turned the corner and looked around. He didn't turn the corner I was looking at so he wasn't able to see us. I could see his feet and his machete but not his face.

"Nothing here." called out the thug in the bathroom

The thug left and I let out a silent sigh of relief but just as I thought we were clear, there was a noise behind me.

I turned around to see that Josiah slipped a bit, making some noise. His eyes were wide and Ethan was holding onto Josiah so that he wouldn't slip again.

"Hey I thought you checked the bathroom." said a thug

"It's probably a rat. Those things are coming out all freaked out because of all the fighting." said another thug

"Let's leave." said a thug

I heard multiple footsteps outside the bathroom so we waited until we heard the staircase door open and close. I let out a sigh of relief and wiped my sweat off my forehead.

"Guns make too much noise." I said, "Let's stop using them."

Josiah nodded and we began unloading our guns.

"Leave them here. We'll come back for them." I said

Josiah and Ethan nodded so we hid our guns in a toilet stall. I left the bathroom and once I turned the corner I bumped into a thug.

"What the-"

I quickly drew my sword and stabbed his chest while covering his mouth.

"Oh shit they're here!"

I turned and saw another thug at the staircase entrance.

"Run!" I yelled

The three of us began to run away as thugs began to chase after us. I crashed through the staircase door and ran up the stairs.

"Down there!" yelled a voice from upstairs.

"Through here!" yelled Josiah

He opened the door and let us through before closing it on the thugs. A machete blade pierced through the door, nearly stabbing Josiah.

"Get them!" yelled a thug

"Shit shit shit." grumbled Ethan

We kept running through the hallways but when I turned the corner I bumped into a thug. The two of us fell but another thug got on top of me and started to shake me.

"Creed!" yelled Josiah

He stabbed the thug and kicked him off of me. I got up and swung my sword, slicing a thug's throat.

"Kill them!" yelled a thug

A thug tried to stab me but I dodged to the side, barely avoiding the blade. I stabbed the thug in the chest and once I pulled out I sliced a thug's chest.

"We have no choice but to fight." I said

"Yea that's what we're trying to do." said Ethan

I ducked under a machete and sliced the thug's stomach at the same time and then slit the thug's neck.

"This way!" yelled Josiah

"Come on Ethan!" I yelled

I grabbed Ethan and we ran down the hallway.

"Shoot them!"

Some of the thugs began to shoot at us but we were able to turn the corner before getting shot.

"In here." I said

I opened the door to the staircase as a distraction and quietly opened the door to a room then silently closed it after Josiah and Ethan entered.

"Through the staircase!" yelled a thug's voice outside

I heard multiple footsteps run by the door until silence. I let out a sigh of relief but suddenly, my lungs felt compressed and my breaths shortened. I coughed so I quickly covered my mouth and silently coughed.

"Creed you good?" asked Josiah

I looked at my hands and they were covered in blood.

"Shit I forgot to take my medications." I whispered

I touched my pocket but I didn't feel anything. I began to check my other pockets but I couldn't find my pills. I frantically checked my vest and my bag but it was nowhere to be found.

"Oh fuck... I must have dropped it somewhere." I groaned

2B's POV

The boss walked back into the room with two thugs behind him. The boss approached me and sighed as he folded his arms.

"This human friend of yours is a pretty good fighter." said the boss

I stayed silent.

"Well, that's too bad cause after all..." sighed the thug as he pulled out Creed's pills from his pocket, "I guess he's sick."

"You son of a bitch." I growled

"Don't get angry at me." said the boss

"I'll kill you if you lay a finger on him." I growled

"Oh... I suppose he's someone special to you." said the boss

The boss turned and looked at the thugs.

"Bring him alive. I want to meet him." said the boss

"You can't." said Avery

The boss turned to look at Avery.

"You can't catch him." said Avery, "Even if you tried."

"I know the way around this complex. He doesn't." said the boss

"You're talking about a highly trained soldier who knows how to escape, better than anyone. No matter how well you know the terrain, he'll outplay you." said Avery

Suddenly, there was a loud explosion.

"What the..." groaned the boss

Creed's POV

'They fell for my trap.'

I was able to lead a large group of thugs into a wired grenade trap, killing at least ten of the thugs. More were coming after me so I continued to run down the hallway.

'I hope you're ready.'

"Over here you fuckers!" I yelled

The thugs got close to me so I ducked down and the wall next to the thugs exploded, blowing the thugs into pieces.

"Perfect timing!" yelled Josiah

He threw down the detonator and we ran up the stairs.

"It's the eighth floor." said Josiah

I quietly opened the door a bit and I saw a thug about a few in front of the door.

"Okay... we know that the girls are on this floor." I said, "That means there's going to be a lot of thugs on this floor."

Ethan and Josiah nodded.

"I'll take the lead." said Ethan

I nodded and Ethan went in front of me with Josiah behind me. Ethan took a deep breath, relaxing his body before opening the door and running straight towards the thug at the entrance. We ran with him and Ethan rammed into the thug and picked him up. The thug hit his head on top of the door frame and Ethan entered the one and only room and threw the thug into the wall

Josiah and I ran into the room to see at least a dozen thugs. I swung my sword, killing the first thug I saw. All the thugs started to get frantic and run around the room, either running away or grabbing any weapon they could find.

I pushed and kicked one of the thugs and blocked a thug's attack. I grabbed the thug's arm and spun around and sliced another thug's stomach then stabbed the thug I was holding onto.

A thug rushed to me and tackled me to the ground. I lost grip of my sword as I fell onto the ground so I punched the thug's face and rolled over before knocking him out with another punch.

A thug ran up to me but I ducked under and flipped him over my back. I kicked a thug's leg making him fall and hit his head on the table. A thug did a spinning hook kick at me but I quickly went in, grabbed the leg he was kicking with and kicked the leg he was standing on. I slammed him onto the ground and I heard his back break.

I kicked a table so that the table hit a thug in the stomach. One of the thugs jumped onto the table and ran on it then tried to tackle me but I grabbed him midair and threw him into the wall. I turned and saw Josiah in a headlock while another thug was holding his waist.

I began looking around my vest and found my knife. I pulled it out and threw it at the thug head locking Josiah, allowing Josiah to throw the thug off his back and fight the other thugs.

Suddenly out of nowhere, a thug kicked me and I crashed into a table. I got up and looked at the thug but something about him felt different from the rest. I got up and tried to punch him but the thug dodged it and punched my face and then my chest.

I coughed out blood and the thug kicked me away and I fell on the floor. I kept coughing but I slowly got up and got into my fighting stance.

"You need your medications." said the thug

"Huh?" I questioned

He pulls out my container of pills.

"W-where did you-"

"One of my men found it." said the thug

'My men...?'

"You're the boss..." I said

The thug looked a bit surprised.

"You're quick." said the boss

"Where's 2B?" I growled as I stood up

"2B? Ah the YoRHa android. But which one? The one with the blindfold?" asked the boss

"Doesn't matter." I sighed

I lunged toward him and began throwing jabs and straight punches. I faked a hook punch, making the boss cover up. I found an opening and uppercut his chin and the boss stumbled back.

"Boxing huh?" groaned the boss, "Anyways, the blindfolded android is my favorite."

I grit my teeth and continued to throw punches. I was trained mostly in the boxing category so my punches were precise. I hit his ribs and then hit his jaw but the boss jumped back and kicked my chest. I stumbled back and coughed a bit.

"Boss!" yelled a bunch of thugs entering the room

"Josiah! Ethan! Let's go!" I yelled

I grabbed my sword and we ran out of the room with everyone chasing after us.

"Split up!" I yelled, "Get back to Nines!"

Josiah and Ethan nodded and we both turned different corners. All the thugs chased after Josiah and Ethan but the boss ran after me.

I got to the center of the complex and I quickly looked around. I looked up and decided to do the riskiest thing. I jumped up onto the edge of the parapet and jumped up and grabbed onto the edge of the next floor above me.

I swung my legs up and my heel was able to catch the edge, allowing me to pull myself up and onto the next floor. I climbed over the parapet and sighed.

'I really need my medication.'
