Black Vs Ramos (2)

Neither of them. As in, neither Gogoat or Doomsday came out on top. They both fainted.

    "Wow! That makes you the second person to take out one of my pokemon! But winning won't be that easy, Ramos. Come back, Doomsday. You were amazing," I said, bringing him back to his pokeball.

    "Oh, really now? Come back, Gogoat," Ramos said.

    "Time for my last pokemon. Come on out, Son Goku!"

    "Time for my final as well. Shaymin, come on out!"

    Well great. Just great. This man has a whole mythical pokemon to fight me with. And worse, it's a shiny. Great.

    "Son Goku, I assume you want to do this by yourself?"

    {Absolutely.}

    "Alright then. You do you, bud."

    "Well, if you think your Monferno can beat my Shaymin on it's own, you're awfully incorrect. Shaymin, use Psychic!"

    Shaymin's eyes began to glow blue, and Son Goku was surrounded by a blue light. Seemingly, nothing happened. But even so, it was clear that Son Goku was taking damage and was even put on his knees. Already, the battle seemed like it was over.

    {...No.}

    "Son Goku, you still have energy? Surprising."

    {No no no no! I refuse to be defeated by some tiny little grass hedgehog!}

    And the blue flame on his tail erupted. Like, it turned into a pillar of pure fire. I assumed this was his ability, Blaze, and I was right. Son Goku, with the power of fire, broke through the control of Psychic and ran at Shaymin. Angered, he didn't stop pummeling Shaymin with Fire Punches and Fire-aspect moves. It was Close Combat, but as a fire-type attack. Eventually, he knocked Shaymin away with a powerful Fire Punch. At this point, I expected Shaymin to be done for, but the little hedgehog was still standing. Albeit, barely.

    "Shaymin, if you can still fight, go for a Seed Flare!"

    Shaymin began to take in all of the pollutants from the air around it, darkening the flowers on its head until they were a dark brown. But then, Son Goku did something unexpected. He put out his own flames. Entirely. By doing this, there weren't as many pollutants in the air, so the Seed Flare couldn't get any more powerful! Now THAT'S a smart pokemon. Anyways, Shaymin released the Seed Flare in a bright flash of light that, once again, we had to cover our eyes for. Once there was no more light, we uncovered our eyes to see that Son Goku had covered himself in a complete layer of fire to burn away the Seed Flare. But the flames were very tall. As in, what would normally be a sphere, there was an extended upwards oval sphere. I was confused. Why did Son Goku make his fire that tall? And then I realized. The fire burst out, and revealed Son Goku's new form.

    The flame on his tail? Gone. Now, his flame was a raging blue on his head. White fur was covered with golden plates of armor on his fists, shoulders, chest, and knees. He had reached his final evolution. He was a full-fledged Infernape.

    "Well, it didn't take long for this to happen! Son Goku, finish this!"

    "Shaymin! Use Energy Ball, repeatedly!"

    Shaymin began to shoot rapid-fire Energy Balls at Son Goku, but he didn't get hit. With the second wind of his evolution, he just Fire Punched through all of them, slowly walking towards Shaymin. Eventually, Shaymin was out of energy. Son Goku then flared up his knee, ready to knee smash and end this, once and for all.

    "Shaymin, jump up and use Magical Leaf!"

    And that was his fatal mistake.

    Shaymin jumped into the air and shot a bunch of purple-surrounded leaves at Son Goku. He lunged upwards towards Shaymin, burning the leaves he ran into. And once his knee connected, it was clear that Shaymin wasn't gonna survive the attack. Shaymin was launched into the protective barrier around the battlefield, leaving it cracked and leaving Shaymin knocked right out.

    "Shaymin is unable to battle! The winner is Infernape! The challenger wins!"

------------------GYM BATTLE END------------------

    "Good job, Son Goku. Come back," I said, bringing him back to his pokeball.

    "Same with you, Shaymin," Ramos said before walking over to me. "Well, young whippersnapper, you are truly a good trainer. You defeated my best team yet! So, I present you with this, the Plant Badge. And I'm pretty sure you and I both know that you will go far, maybe even beat our champion, haha!"

    "Well, I do agree with you that I will go far, but that team was amazing! The only thing I would've done was replace Sunflora with a Mega pokemon, considering Sunflora didn't do too much," I said.

    "Well, thank you for the advice! Now, your next challenge is in Lumiose City, with the electric-type gym leader, Clemont. He should be a challenge for you!"

    "No problem, Ramos. And thanks, you gave me a real challenge. Goodbye then," I said.

    I left the gym, and looked out over the town. First things first, I went to the pokemon center, so that my pokemon could get healed after that tough battle. While Nurse Joy was healing my pokemon, I saw three people, talking and having a good time. A girl with scarlet hair, a male with teal hair, and a person whose gender I could not distinguish, who had mint-colored hair. Once seeing them, I realized who the teal-haired and scarlet-haired people were. So, I walked over to them.

    "Hey Teal, hey Scarlet, how are you guys doing?" I asked them. They slowly changed where they were looking to my direction. And then they realized who was talking to them with a deep voice.

    "Oh, it's you. What do you want?" Scarlet asked, angrily.

    "Hey, Scarlet, don't be mean! This is my friend, Black!" Teal said to her.

    "Yeah, we've met. So I want to know what he wants before I beat him up."

    "Why? What'd he ever do to you, Scar?" the mint haired one asked.

    "Well, no one can call me a little shit and get away with it," she said.

    Honestly, I forgot I did that.

    "Black wouldn't do that," Teal said.

    "Yeah, I may or may not have actually done that. I forgot about it, but yeah," I said.

    "Well, you better come outside right now and battle me so we can settle this once and for all. I'll beat you with just my Torterra!" Scarlet said.

    "Uh, okay, but my pokemon are getting healed. Once they're done, sure."

    "Fine then! I'll be waiting!" Scarlet said, storming out.

    While my pokemon were still getting healed, Teal introduced me to their other sibling, their "quibling" as he said, Mint. And I was right not to assume a gender, since they don't have one. Finally, my pokemon were healed and we could go outside and battle Scarlet again.

    "Alright, Torterra, come out! Let's whoop his ass!"

    "Son Goku, you can take care of this, right?"

    And our battle began.
