Black Vs Clemont(1)

The next day, I woke up early and put on some new clothes, the blue set. I took down the tent and walked back to Lumiose, ready to battle Clemont. I got on my skateboard and went to Centrico Plaza, but then I remembered that I bought the Leaf Stone for a reason. Once I got in front of Prism Tower, I brought out the Leaf Stone and Sage. 

    "Alright, Sage. I think you're ready to go to the next stage of your strength. Are you ready?"

    {Yeah! Let me evolve, already!} He jumped and touched the stone before beginning to glow. The glow caused a couple of people to come around and watch in curiosity. The leaves on Sage's head began to grow into a pompadour-like shape. Sage, in general, just started to grow. Once he stopped growing, the glow stopped as well. Standing 3 feet 7 inches[thats 1.1 meters for you non-americans], Simisage was standing in front of me, looking ready for battle. 

    "Well, shall we enter the gym?"

    {Yeah, let's do it.}

    We walked into the gym, right into a dark corridor with pipes all around us. We continued to walk forwards until we came to a door with a screen on top of it. 

    "Hello there, challenger! Welcome to the Lumiose City Gym! Please show all four of your badges, thank you!" an automated voice said. Doing as it said, I pulled out my four badges and showed them to a camera looking at me. "You are now allowed to challenge Clemont, the gym leader. Good luck!"

    The door opened and showed a stadium surrounded by stands where a few people were sitting. I recognised them as some who saw Sage evolve right outside. I walked in and stood in the box dedicated for the challenger. And out of a door on the other side of the field came Clemont, seemingly not ready for battle. Behind him was a little girl, who I recognized as Bonnie. She walked over to the place for the referee to stand. 

    "Hi everyone! I'm Bonnie, and this is my brother, Clemont, who serves as our gym leader! I will be serving as the referee for this battle. The both of you are allowed to use five pokemon, and only the challenger is allowed to switch between pokemon! Okay?" We both nodded. "Then let the battle begin!"

    ------------------GYM BATTLE BEGIN------------------

    "Go, Emolga!" 

    Ah well, it seems I've made an oversight. I have nothing to fight this with. Welp, I have to face him somehow. 

    "Tamao, come on out."

    "Go for a Thunderbolt!"

    "Counter with Shadow Ball."

    Emolga charged a ball of electricity while it was in the air before sending it as a beam towards Tamao. But she had created a ball of ghost-type energy and sent it at the Thunderbolt, causing the attacks to clash and create an explosion.

    "Now, Dark Pulse."

    Tamao made a ball of dark energy at her mouth before launching it at Emolga as a beam, in the same fashion as the previous Thunderbolt.

    "Dodge and use Quick Attack!"

    The Emolga covered itself in white energy before dodging the attack that ripped through the smoke. Then, in a slow flash of yellow, black, and white, Emolga headed towards Tamao, raring to hit her. 

    "Counter with a Bite."

    Emolga came at Tamao and landed the attack, only for Tamao to Bite down on its wing, not letting go and refusing to let go. 

    "Now, Dark Pulse."

    "Emolga!"

    Tamao blasted the wing inside of her mouth with a Dark Pulse, causing an explosion. When the smoke cleared, it was clear that Emolga had fainted. 

    "Emolga is unable to battle! Umbreon wins!" 

    "Come on back, Emolga. Let's go, Magnezone!"

    "Tamao, you come back as well. Hades, you're up!"

    I brought out Hades, who was ready to fight the metal beast in front of him. Bonnie signaled for the battle to restart, and Clemont quickly made the first move.

    "Magnezone, go for a Thunderbolt!"

    "Counter with a Flamethrower."

    The two charged up and fired their attacks at each other, and they met in the middle of the battlefield, causing another explosion. 

    "Now, Flame Charge."

    Hades began to cover himself in flames, ready to charge at the Magnezone. And charge he did. 

    "Magnezone, don't let him hit you! Use Wild Charge!"

    Magnezone covered itself in electricity and charged at the incoming Flame Charge. The two clashed and caused another explosion, this one bigger than the rest. I had no clue who would come out of this one. But then Hades came flying out of the smoke, almost unscathed. He stayed up in the air, as if he was waiting for something. Then, a Thunderbolt came ripping out of the smoke, clearing it. And at that moment, I saw something I didn't think I would see.

    The Magnezone had a burn mark.

    It wasn't burnt, but there was a dark spot on it. So it was clear that my attack did some damage. But if that was only a Flame Charge, then we've still got a lot coming.

    "Hades, use Flare Blitz."

    "Magnezone, go for a Giga Impact!" 

    Hades began to cover himself in intense flames, with red streaks in them. Magnezone began to glow in a blinding white light, looking angry with its three eyes. They then burst at each other, flashes of orange-red and white, ready to clash. And when they did, a shockwave of pure wind shot out of the exchange. Neither of the two could get an advantage over the other. But then, in a burst of pure heat, fire, and power, Hades' flames turned blue and ripped through the Giga Impact, finally hitting Magnezone. He kept with the attack, burning with insane power. The two hit the ground, causing the clear last explosion of the battle. By the time the smoke cleared, I was already prepared to see both of them fainted. But no. 

    Magnezone had fainted, and Hades was seemingly fine.

    "Magnezone is unable to battle! Charizard is the winner!" 

    Clemont took back his pokemon, and I was thinking that Hades could take another bout. But then he fell, exhausted. So, I brought him back to his pokeball. 

    "Alright, then. Heliolisk, come on out!"

    "Sage, get in there. Let's test out your new power."

    And now, we were ready for the third bout. Bonnie signaled the beginning of the third round, and Sage was ready to begin.
