Gaining What is Lost

"Alright! Good job, Son Goku!" I said.

"Wow, you really are as good as they say! And because you won, you get the Fairy Badge! Congratulations!" Valerie said. She walked over to me and handed me the Fairy Badge. I stashed it in my pocket for safekeeping.

"Thank you, and good night to you all! Hades, come on back out!" I pulled out Hades and brought Son Goku back to his ball. I then jumped on his back and he flew away from the stage. The people down below were astonished as I flew towards Route 15, ready to take on a new challenge. But soon enough, I realized that it was getting dark. However, I noticed a hotel on the ground, so I flew down to it and entered. And instantly, I felt an aura of power and an aura of evil.

"Hello there, young traveler. Would you like a room?" a voice spoke. I jerked around to look where the voice came from. But all that was there was an old man with a smile on his face.

"Oh! Yes, I would like a room, please. But if I may ask, why does this hotel look so run-down?" A twinge of disappointment showed on the man's face.

"I am but a clerk, so I cannot answer your question. Come, let me show you to your room." The man got up from the desk and began leading me away and towards the rooms. On the way to the room he designated as mine, I saw a stairway leading down and loud noises coming from it. So naturally, I inquired about it.

"Oh, that's just the battlefield. Not many battles take place there nowadays, though," the old man answered. We continued to walk towards the room, and once we reached it, the man turned to leave.

"Thank you for coming to stay. By the way, my name is Weston. If you need anything at all, just call. Good night, traveler." Weston left me to examine the room for myself. The furnishings were fairly okay, though some of the paint on the walls was starting to peel off. That's fine. I can deal with this until morning. But I do want to go investigate that arena and see what was happening. So, I left the room and backtracked to the stairway. I stood at the top, and all I could feel coming towards me was power.

Or just a random guy.

No, seriously, he just ran into me.

"Ouch! What the heck, man?" I said.

"Sorry! But I gotta go!" The man got up and ran out of the hotel at top speed. Well, that was stupid. But if he needed to leave that badly, I'd like to see what the heck is down there. So, disregarding the guy that just left, I walked down the staircase. And around midway down, I felt as if I was going through a layer of pure force. But once I was down there, I saw why the guy had to leave so badly.

There was a man there, and he just gave off the aura of an absolute dipshit. I wasn't off put or anything, but I was just filled with rage at this guy for no reason. And I noticed something else. There was a Krookodile and it gave off an intense, intimidating aura. Ugh.

"Hey, dipshit! What the hell's wrong with you?" I yelled at him.

"Oh? A kid? Well, I guess I've got easy pickins this time, ah boys?" the man said. And out of the shadows came a quite large amount of other people, presumably part of this guy's gang or whatever. All of them mumbled their agreement.

"The hell you mean, easy pickins?" A little bit of my former self from my past life began to shine through here. "Why the hell was a guy running out of here like there's no tomorrow? Huh?" I asked, getting increasingly pissed off.

"Simple. We bet. We battled. He lost. I stole his pokemon. But of course, a kid like you wouldn't understand that, now would you?" he said.

"Who the hell do you think you are? Some strong guy who thinks he can beat me?" I asked.

"No, I'm just the owner of this hotel. And I don't think I can beat you. I know I can beat you," he said.

"Then why don't we make a bet. Let's battle. If I win, I get this hotel and your Krookodile. If you win, you get all my pokemon and all my money. How's that sound?" Please note that while I may be pissed the hell off I can still think clearly. And I don't plan on using this Krookodile. Ever. I'm not the right trainer for it. I know that.

"Haha! Sure, why not? Let's do this, Krookodile!"

"Let's go all out. Come on out, Luca!"

Immediately, I evaluated this Krookodile's strength to see if I could take it out. It was much stronger than the other opponents I've faced, and I can see that from eyesight alone. So if I want to win, I'm going to destroy this man.

"Luca, let's go Mega. We will destroy this guy, got that?" I pulled out my Key Stone that was already glowing. But something was different. Instead of glowing white, it glowed a tinted purple. Before I could process what was happening, the light combined with Luca's Mega Stone light, causing him to mega evolve. His head was down, but I could feel his anger. And it was a lot of anger.

"Ah, who cares. It's a mega, so what? I'll still win. Krookodile, use Brick Break."

"Screw it. Go all out, Luca. And don't hold back one bit, got it?"

Krookodile's hand began to glow as it dashed forwards, heading straight for Luca. But he jerked his head up to look Krookodile dead in the eyes before basically disappearing to the naked eye. Krookodile was astonished. It completely missed its attack. Meanwhile, I activated my eye to find out where Luca was on the battlefield. And even with that I could barely see him.

"What the hell?! Krookodile, use Earthquake!"

Krookodile stomped on the ground, causing a tremor to pulse throughout the battlefield. But Luca was too fast. Suddenly, Krookodile stopped, looking as if it got punched in the face randomly.

{I've been working on this for a while. Now I can finally bust it out. You will pay for making our leader angry.} Luca said. I had no idea what he was talking about. Suddenly, Krookodile was surrounded with an intense blue aura, seemingly locking it in place.

{I only have enough aura to do this in mega form, but either way, I call this move 'Aura Breaker.'} Luca said. Luca reappeared on the battlefield a few feet away from the stuck Krookodile. He walked slowly towards it, constantly building up aura in his hands. Once he was close enough, he jabbed Krookodile in the stomach. He did it again. And again. And again. Luca continuously punched Krookodile in the stomach, steadily increasing speed until he was punching at light speed. And soon, I saw that he charged up one last punch, and once he launched it at Krookodile, it was broken out of the aura lock, and fired into a wall, where he stayed. And as soon as Krookodile hit the wall, Luca lost his mega form, but he looked absolutely refreshed.

"Krookodile is unable to battle. I win, dipshit. Now you get out of here. Or else you're next." I said. The man looked at me with intense fear in his eyes before screaming.

"You can have this hotel, dammit! Just don't hurt me!" He ran out of the battlefield, leaving his pokeball and his wallet. Seeing this, his cronies began to leave too, but I stopped them.

"You all can leave once I use you for training."

Once that ordeal was over, I went back to Weston to deliver him the good news.

"Child, what did you do to make those people leave the hotel?"

"Oh, I just beat them in a few pokemon battles. Speaking of which, I now own this hotel. However, I cannot run it as I am a wandering trainer. Would you like to manage it in my stead?" I asked.

"I…thank you, child. Or rather, young sir. I would love to manage this hotel for you," Weston said.

"Good! The Hellflame Hotel is now open for business!" Declaring this, I went back to my room and slept for the next 15 hours straight.
