Adam's POV

This is the second time she has tried hurting me. What did I do, yes I touched her, her shoulders. But something is bothering her, she hasn't gotten it out of her system. It was like her soul was being sucked out of her

Thank god being a true blood wolf, healing fast was one of the advantages; otherwise, anyone who saw me would be like"Hey what's wrong with you".I plan on getting an explanation. Like what did I do that made her self-defense kick in and use her claws at me, which by the way hurt a lot. It's like in the werewolf kingdom men punish and hit their females, here she's doing it to me

*Yes your extremely manly*Liam whispered sarcastically. Now what; being manly is equal to hitting your mates and punishing them, great logic Liam. He missed Ophelia too that's why he's being an asshole to me.

I had seven meetings in the morning about acquiring new territories and to ensure food supplies to some packs. I haven't seen my father yet, people are still getting used to calling me Alpha Adam as the only Alpha they served was my father. She was supposed to come with me and my sister tomorrow guess that's canceled.

I just wanted to know why, I knew it wasn't me cause she knew that when she was drowning I had to touch her, save her. She didn't feel disgusted. But now?. I needed to know why

If I don't I will be there in my mind and eat my head. Should I go there, which hospital? I did do some research after she left. She has been Alpha for a while now. One sister although surnames are different, both very beautiful but my eyes kept wandering to the red-haired girl that was giving me some unwanted. I repeat UNWANTED!! butterflies

I guess, if I keep her on my mind I won't able to concentrate and get any work done. I went to my private gym only to see Emily; my sister doing a plank. I guess my private gym, wasn't so private.

"Hey kid, did you finish your history assignment? And I know you want to be a warrior and all but now focus on your studies you're still very young."She has been telling me about becoming a warrior since she was 8.

"Hey Adam, yea I finished. Now why are you here, don't you have Alpha stuff to do, you always train at night. Something is bothering u? A girl I suppose. I heard you found your mate, you didn't bother telling me in person?"She stood up glaring at me.

That's what I get for having a nosy sister, she knows when I eat when I sleep when I train and when I have a crush on a pretty redhead."I don't know what you're talking about. Your gonna become a stalker if you keep involving yourself in other people schedule. It's my mate, she can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Very fiesty.She's the Alpha of Blood Stone Pack too. "Wow, I love her already. Alpha huh? very unusual, but I think a woman as much or more capable of becoming Alpha compared to a man. I want to meet her, I am sure she's not as bad as you say. "Sorry kid I hate you to tell you this but I don't think we'll be seeing her any time soon. l. I will try one last time to reach her if she doesn't then I won't even care who my mate is, I will just pick out some random girl in the kingdom"I wanted her, I wanted her to be my Queen, by my side, fighting along my side. But I knew those dreams were long gone. Guess I am never seeing her again.

"Alpha Adam, Miss Dawn requests to see you. She is outside the palace."Wow, look at my luck. When I am trying to forget her, she comes right back in. I can't say I wasn't happy. I was, I was glad she came.

"Why did you make her stand in the cold!!, bring her to my office. Also, send some blankets and tea to my office as well."

I turned to look at my sister's happy surprised face. She was smiling ear to ear. I knew exactly what she wanted

"No you can't meet her today, later"her wide grin instantly faded, in a flash, I was on the ground trying to get my too strong for her age sister off me. Ughh so violent ."You do not make decisions for me brother, I would have met her anyway if I didn't have something due tomorrow to do, I would have come. Either way, I will meet her soon"

I quickly headed towards my office after explaining to Emily how important school is. Thank god I have people to help clean the rooms. As I sat down on the leather chair, I heard two sharp knocks on my door." Come in".There she was, hair braided tightly and wrapped in a very classy way, her eyes were filled with hopelessness. I miss her shiny maroon eyes filled with joy and will to live.

"Oh hey Adam, I am disturbing you? Cause if I am, I can leave"That's the last thing I wanted her to do.

"No, no-no. Not at all, please sit. I heard that you have not been attending to your pack. I have cleared the questions by saying that you had some family problems to deal with and you will be back in a few days. Now, mind giving me an explanation about our last encounter?"Of course, I wanted to know. Yes, as Blood Stone being standing second in North America, I have to pay a lot of attention to these packs.

"Oh, Thank you. My sister's surgery has just been scheduled, I need to found out about the accident that is oddly suspicious. Explanation,huh-i um-,well-you see-"

I got up from my chair and walked towards her, I want to know if I was the problem. She quickly backed away seeing me come close. I bent down to look at her, her cat-like eyes that showed my reflection."Are you afraid of me?" her eyes widened but she didn't step back this time.

She looked down, then looked at me, her cheeks were flushed, her eyes glossy with tears, my heart clenched as I looked at the person I have come to be very fond of these few days whither before me. She was shaking, she tried to choke out words but couldn't. I didn't know what to do; her legs tumbled and she was about to hit the ground. My hands quickly circled around her waist and held her close to me. I don't think she has the strength to stand. I lifted her feet off the ground and walked towards my room. I didn't want an explanation anymore, I just wanted her not to cry. I can get my answers later. But I hate to see her like this.

I kicked the door with my feet as her hands snaked around my neck. My office was a bit far from my room, the tears kept flowing all the way to my room until she got tired of crying and slowly drifted off to sleep in my arms.

I placed her on my bed and covered her small body with a blanket. I could hear the phone vibrate in her pocket, I knew she doesn't like people touching her but I didn't want her to wake up. I slowly put my hand in her jeans pocket to curse at whoever is calling this late at night. The caller Id showed Mom. I picked it up hoping to end the call quickly after explaining but the crazy lady on the other line didn't allow that.

"Dawn you better get to the hospital this instant. Your sister is here, her surgery is in 3 days, and where the hell is you. This accident is all your fault, you should advise her not to go this late at night. Alpha or not, it is a shame for me and your father, we are the ones who raised you. If I hated you before now I despise you for what you have done to my daughter. We should have just punished you more as a kid. I can't believe I even thought of apologizing to you. Your sister was the one who even told me of apologizing to you, look what u have done to her."My god, how in world would Dawn want to kill her own sister, and how dare you blame her. Show some respect to your daughter woman.

"Hello Miss Stone, your daughter Dawn Stone is with me. I am her mate. This is no way to talk to your own daughter. I think any mother would be better than you. You clearly don't want Dawn in your life, so now please stop calling her before I banish you from the kingdom. This is Adam by the way.Alpha Adam.Good day miss"
