Chapter 4

In the passage hall, Tiara and Alan walking along follow by her butler. Even she is a woman, but her house decoration full armoury and weapons. Most collector were favourite by men but for women, she was the one and only. This was become her habit since she was adopted from the knight family, so she used to it.

"Lady Tiara, you got a letter." Leomord handed a letter. "Thank you, Leo." She looks at the crest on the letter and then she kept in her hand. "It was my duty, my lady." He bowed. He walked beside Tiara. Behind them Alan and Will followed them. They leading to Tiara reading room.

"Leo, report?" Tiara sitting on the chair putting the letter that Leomord gave him. "My lady, we should take action as soon as possible." She's listening while open up the letter. "We can't hold up less than month." He continued. She nods understanding the situation. "Beast folk causing the growth. " He explained.

"How many?" She starts focusing. "It's become multiple in these two days." He answers. "If we're not, we can't hold any longer." He looking seriously. "Is there something you want to say?" She pointing on Alan. "Pardon." He surprised. "I seem quietly, I bet you have suggestion for this matter." She's waiting for the answers.

"Kings aid's?" He lifted both of his shoulder. Suddenly all of them laugh at him. "Oh dear, I already done a long time if I can." She chuckles. "Then, how about we give a new settlement?" He feeling offended. "My Lady, why don't we use full force and kill who step in our border." Leo interrupt them, trying to persuaded her.

After listening, she taking a deep breath. Outside the window she was looking the stars and the moon. How peaceful that night. She hoping that peaceful will kept forever. "We can't do that." She looks down. "It was brilliant ideas and I know you tried hard for the sake our faction." "But I'm very sorry, thus will affected to our faction." She rejected nicely.

"I'll tell you why I disagree." She stands up from her chair. "Tell me, why they using oppression?" She asking. Both Will and Leo quiet. No answer to tell. "Maybe they elude the bloodbath." Alan answers. "You got a half correct." She taking a sip of wine that prepare by Will. Both Alan and Leo paused, thinking the answers.

"They're waiting for us to fall." She responded. "You never noticed why they oppressed close to our border." "They claiming the land but not people and saying that those people are ours." "Even though they're using open border, isn't obvious." She explained.

"Who the most powerful in our ranks?" She giving a question. "You all must say king, right." Both Alan and Leo shocked on how exactly what Tiara guessing. "You're wrong." She smiled. they're starting confused. "King just a pawn, just execute the order." "The man who giving the order is his advisor, so he is the most powerful role." She explained. Now they're understand why she rejected their plan.

"Now, this matter I will settle by myself." She ordered. "But, my lady…" Leo stuck after Tiara giving a stare to him. "My apologise, my lady." He bows. "Before you leave, this is your mission." She giving that letter to Leo. "Alan, you go with him." She ordered. "me?" Alan shocked. "Now it's time for you to be exposed." She answers. "I want to follow what he orders to you." She advised Alan. Both of them leaving the room without any words, only Will staying with Tiara.

"My lady, it's time." He notifies. "Yes, please." She's responded. Will slowly close the door.

At the same night in the castle, King Francis sit up on the roundtable chair. Disappointing for what happen today, he gets a liquor to erase his emotions. "My king, you need some rest." Briggard come and pouring to Francis drink. "You think it's made me better?" He seems unrest. "If you come here just to stop me, leave me alone." He warned. After taking a few drinks, he keeps sighing, feeling helpless when remember about the incident.

"May I?" Briggard automatic take a seat and joining the drinks together. Francis just keep drinking and let him be. Briggard pour again inside Francis glass. Then, he pours into his own glass. Together they start to drink together. After that, Briggard looking to the Francis that start to drunk. Something he want to figured out from him.

"my king." Briggard called. "Throw that title, it doesn't belong to me." Francis start talking nonsense. "Francis, why are you trust her?" He starts the conversation. "Whom?" he half conscious. "Tiara." He looks straight to Francis. "Now you say this bloody name to me, next what? Ruddy?" He angers. "I'm not make you mad, I want to say that I never trust her." He speaks honestly. "Why? Without her we don't stand here." Francis confused.

"It's not easy to kill him but she makes it without single wound." . Briggard come out his conspiracies. Francis starts to come his senses. What Briggard says is truth. "What are you saying right now?" He became curious. "There is something behind of this." He tells what have his mind. Francis stop his drinks; he gives full attention to Briggard.

"At first, I thought she just want the title, but I think she after more than that." He gives his statement. "Any proof?" Francis being questions. "Her son" Briggard answers. Francis surprised what have he hear. "After all she living single and right now, she suddenly introduces her son and I heard he seems the same age to your daughter." He explained. "and then?" Francis not quite understand.

"He also has a son, same age as her son." He concluded. "Ridiculous, his family already death in the house burn." Francis denied him and then he stands, want to leave the conversation. "We only saw his body, his family?" Briggard words make Francis stop leaving. He finally success to convince him. Francis take a seat back and thinking all the words that Briggard says make sense.

"We must do something; we must send spy to investigate her." Francis take the action carelessly. "No, she will be found out our action." Briggard stop Francis. "and then, what should I do?" Briggard were questions by Francis. "How about we used this Ruddy as our spy." He come up the idea but Francis giving a shocked response.

"Why you choose that stupid bastard?" Francis aggressively hitting the table. "He should grateful to me that he still remained his position." He became tempers. "We should eliminate all old kings' right hand, but you still spare his life." He continued. "He has the special treasure that he holds on that we can't touch him and no one know where the treasure is." Briggard response.

"I know that we can't anything to him, but he can do something to us." He giving a smile to Francis. "We use him to covered up our attentions." He continues. "What a brilliant idea." Briggard getting praise by Francis. "So, how we used him?" He excited to hear the plan. Then, Briggard start whispering Francis to giving his plan that comes up from his mind.
