Chapter 675 Ticket in Hand

Colkla Island, a restaurant in a small town.

Marine's accompanying fleet and CP0 had their own cooks, of course, but Olga refused their offers, claiming she didn't like their food.

Luckily, CP0's presence was low-key in the town. Aside from a slightly tense atmosphere and their habit of sneaking around, life went on.

Finding a random restaurant, Rowen ordered a large table of pure meat dishes and said,

"Dig in!"

"I'll start!"

Olga's eyes lit up as she looked at the delicious dishes spread out before her, drooling at the mouth.

Just as she was about to dig in, she suddenly remembered something and cried out,

"Elizabeth!!"

"Gah!!"

The sound of a clumsy duck quacking echoed in the distance, followed by panicked shouts from patrolling soldiers.

"Hey, what's that? Stop it!"'

"Careful, it bites!"'

"Oh no, it's heading for the restaurant! Protect Admiral Soryu!"'

'Crash!'

'Ding-ling clang!'

'Zizizi...!'

In a burst of noise, a cute-looking green lizard crashed through the restaurant door and screeched to a halt at the table.

"Hurry, Elizabeth, we have food... all meat!"

Olga excitedly waved a couple of large steaks in the air.

"Gaga!"

The green lizard's eyes gleamed as he jumped up and caught the steaks, landing on the ground to tear into them with big, greedy bites.

"Admiral Soryu, she..."'

As the soldiers at the door panted heavily, Rowen waved his hand to calm them,

"It's okay, it's just the little girl's pet."'

The soldiers: "..."'

"A pet should not bite people!"'

"And it's not on a leash!"'

The government soldiers exchanged glances, finally nodding and saluting,

"Understood!"

What else could they do? Without Zero, Rowen was the highest ranking official on Colklais.

After waiting for Olga to finish eating, the restaurant owner began to clean up the mess with a stunned look on his face. Rowen put down his cigar and asked,

"Can you talk now?"

"Okay, seeing as you treated me to all this meat... hic."'

Olga sat up with a full belly and burped contentedly.

"Honestly, I don't know what happened."'

"That day I was in the forest of the first stomach, looking for fruit... you know what I'm talking about, right?"'

"Mm-hmm, three stomachs, three islands - got it." Rowen nodded.

"Well..."

Olga let out a frustrated sigh,

"Suddenly, all the animals on the island got restless, just like before an earthquake, running around everywhere."'

"Then I heard this huge explosion, and 'Bonbori' started screaming - it was a sound I'd never heard him make before, it was so painful and loud.

"I was so scared that I tried to run back to my hiding place. Then it was like 'Bonbori' was struggling intensely— it felt like the whole stomach was shaking, and I got thrown out."'

"Just when I thought I was going to fall into the stomach acid or break my neck, 'Bonbori' started vomiting, and the wave of water pushed me right out of its mouth. Elizabeth caught me."'

Olga tossed another large piece of meat to Elizabeth, who looked at it with dead eyes and pushed it away with her nose, obviously uninterested.

"So what did you find out? What caused the explosion that made 'Bonbori' scream like that? What were they doing?"

Rowen focused on the key details - 'outside' and 'explosion'.

Could it be...?

"It must have been a ship that attacked 'Bonbori', right? I didn't get a good look."'

Olga thought for a moment.

"Anyway, there were tons of shipwrecks floating in the sea - probably all dead. Bonbori lost an eye, and the blood it bled turned the sea red. There were sharks everywhere-it was too dangerous, so I made Elizabeth run."'

"Then, after wandering alone for a while, one day a bunch of madmen tried to catch me... and of course, I didn't just go quietly. I fought back! But they outnumbered me, so Elizabeth and I couldn't win, so we ended up at the harbor and snuck into a ship's storehouse."

"Hungry and exhausted, I fell asleep, and when I woke up..."

"Well, you know the rest."

Olga gnawed angrily at her meat block,

"I need more meat to get my strength back! I'm going back for revenge!"'

No matter how much she ate, it only led to indigestion.

Rowen, who had the information verified by Onigumo, couldn't help but grimace.

"God, what a bunch of weirdos..."

That was the town sheriff!

"They eat and run without paying, and of course they have to chase after you!"

These little details matching up greatly reduced the likelihood that Olga was lying.

Hmm, of course, with her strange habit, even if she was lying, she would unintentionally give herself away.

Suddenly, Olga seemed to realize something,

"Wait, do you want Pure Gold as well? We could work together!"

"Even though you know so much, I've lived in the stomach of 'Bonbori' for 200 years - I could show you the way!"

"No need..."

Rowen shook his head and said, "Remember this, Olga, as a piece of advice."

"Never divulge what you know about Pure Gold. Otherwise you'll find that death is a luxury!"

Rowen pressed his broad hand on her head, causing her to stumble slightly.

"I already know these things, you don't have to tell me!"

Olga was annoyed as she pushed his hand away with her head, anger evident.

"If you hadn't threatened me, do you think I'd say anything?"

"Oh? My bad."

Rowen's apology was insincere, causing Olga's teeth to grind in frustration.

"Well, since you're cooperating so well, I'll give you some information in return."

"Oh? What kind of treasure?"

"Treasure... sort of."

Rowen quietly exhaled a ring of smoke, then chuckled slightly, "Your father, Myskina Acier, is still alive."

"Eh?!!"

Σ(д;)!!

"So, live well, Olga. This-"'

Rowen quickly reached out and took a ring off her finger, "I'll keep this for you."'

"Wait... that's-"

However, Rowen ignored her and, stepping out, called out, "Go get the doctor, there's a little girl here with a South Blue Emperor fever."'

Two hundred years ago, the root cause of Acier's trouble when forcing Pure Gold extraction was Olga contracting this incurable disease.

Now, two hundred years later, what was once an incurable disease was no longer a problem— special medicines even existed.

"You knew this too?"'

Olga watched Rowen walk away, unable to understand how he knew so much.

"By the way, get a female soldier to give her a change of clothes— how long has it been since her last bath? She's starting to stink!"'

"You're the one who stinks, asshole!"

Despite everything, Olga settled temporarily on Colklais Island.

Onigumo's verification could only confirm she was just a run-of-the-mill dine-and-dash girl— the small details, with Rowen's backing, made her difficult to challenge.

"Next..."'

In the office, Rowen looked at the dress with Alchemi script in front of him as it turned to ash, slowly stroking the ring on his finger.

"We have the ticket, it's time for the show to start, right?"

Not long after, when Tesoro received Rowen's call saying he needed a large quantity of glowing gold, he was not happy at all.

Seeing the tiny "Pure Gold" he had struggled to create, Tesoro felt like flipping the table.

"Are you messing with me?!"
