As Alison sighed Dean could see her building her walls to protect her from her father's response.

Leo sighed as he stood up and moved to Alison's side, "Alison you are my shining star, nothing you ever do will upset me or disappoint me. I am proud of all you have been able to accomplish and I know that one day you will find the courage and strength to further your career and be the best version of yourself. If you aren't ready for it yet then I won't force you nor will I be disappointed, do it at your own pace you don't need to rush for anyone okay." Leo ended his speech holding Alison's face in his hands wiping away her tears with his thumbs.

Alison nodded and whispered, "I love you too dad thank you."
