A tight tunnel

The cold wind was coming from below, it makes the two stone sword tremble with Shi and Cuifen weight.

The young man was still digging the stone wall using a stone knife, he already was used to the wind making his support tremble.

After some time digging he was already finishing a tunnel big enough to fit him and the young woman, it was probably too tight for them, but this was better than hanging outside at the wind's mercy, besides that the energy he recovered sleeping back then.

"I should have kept that shovel I used to bury those young man's bodies when I made me study corpses" Shi was complaining a lot as he digs, it was a tactic to keep himself awake.

So he decided to only answer the young man's complaints with a 'yeah' and 'hum', Cuifen didn't wake up anymore, looks like her condition was worsening making Long Shin even more worried.

Long Shin didn't know what they used in her, but by her conditions, he could understand they are trying to compress her energy and with this make her body to hold even more qi. The problem with this was that compressing qi wasn't something easy to make, and at the 5th realm of Body Refining her body wasn't ready for a stronger and compressed energy.

So her body was trying to fight to maintain the balance of her qi, making her have a goddamn hot fever, but Long Shin decided to not say anything to Shi, by the kid's impulsive way he would just lay her down and try to treat her where he was.

This proved to be the right choice because as he was running, he slept and in the end Wu found him putting him and Cuifen in danger.

Shi suddenly started to cut a wider entrance, and then slowly moved himself to enter the tunnel, he was super tense when he got his knee on the stone wall he threw himself.

"Thud" he fell hard at the cold stone floor.

"Hmm" as he felt his body ache he let a pained moan scape, and as he moved in pain he beat his head on the upper part of the tunnel.

"Stop moving like a fish out of water and cut those chains already" Long Shin seeing Shi acting stupid decided to step in and make him focus on what really matters.

Picking his stone knife again he infused it with spirit qi and with a single slash he cut the iron chains.

"clang" the chains made a loud noise on the stone tunnel and he heard a 'thud' as Cuifen body fell on the tunnel floor finally free but he was finally free too, he could feel the pressure was taken off his chest and with a loud sniff he sucked all air he could in that tight tunnel.

They are almost blending as the tight tunnel was so little that Shi couldn't move his arms with too much freedom, it was like a body drawer for him and her, he still could feel her body burn in fever but this time he could at least move a little every movement he made he could feel her assets massaging him, making his complexion blush as he tried to not to thing in dirty things.

Getting annoyed at the lack of space and freedom Shi started to dig again, but suddenly he felt this was a little dumb as the dirt and stones he cut fell on his face and body.

Yue was hiding at a branch high on one giant tree near the abyss, she was looking at the group who was focusing their eyes on Feng Wu and the abyss.

Everyone kept silent as they were waiting for Wu to speak, since she was in Shi's last track she could have some news of him, but as she kept looking at the abyss without saying anything the atmosphere got a little awkward.

Wu's forehead was hurting so much she could barely understand what Yong spoke a while ago, the last thing she saw before fainting was Shi and Cuifen falling into the abyss.

She had some questions on her head, and the two more important ones are: "Is Shi and Cuifen alive? and what was that voice that made her faint?" that was obviously a mind technique, but it perfectly countered her bewitching technique and made her have a backslash.

Shaking her head a little the enchantress let a sigh out "Sigh…" she then glanced at Yong and the young disciples at his back, she wasn't in the mood to do anything, the headache was having was crippling her thoughts.

Massaging her temples as she told them what happened "That boy fell in the abyss together with that young girl, you guys better go down pray for them to not be dead because we all know your destiny if they are".

Her words made the young disciples behind Yong feel a chill go down their spine as every single one asked in their mind "What that suicide couple has to do with us? If any of us were to blame this one is you". What the eyes didn't see the heart doesn't feel, since Wu was ignoring them she couldn't see their unsatisfied eyes, and even if she could she would just laugh it off.

She started to walk in the direction of where she left Black Sparrow and Xinghong last time, she fought in the campsite then with Liang and used some bewitching techniques on Shi it was enough to tire her, but because of the headache, all she wanted to do was sleep.

Suddenly she stopped her tracks, as a feminine smell entered her nose, as she lifted her face to gave a sniff her head almost cracked up from inside, she felt her right eye and temple almost split in pain.

Yue didn't even know but she was truly lucky that Long Shin wounded the foxy woman, it was the only way she couldn't detect the moon girl, who was glancing in shock to the abyss as she thought about Shi's and Cuifen death.

For some reason she didn't feel like Shi was truly dead, that man was like a plague, she didn't even make him pay for peeping, in fact, she also needed to say thank for taking care of Linghu, since he was alive and Linghu didn't show up she predicted he beat him.

Yong was almost having a heart attack, if Shi truly fell the abyss carrying Cuifen at his back then only death was waiting for them.

Breathing to calm his nerves he shot a glance at his juniors disciples and then said "It's better to wait for the sun it would be easier to go down this abyss and look for them" in fact he was just procrastinating as in his head Shi and Cuifen were meat past at the end of the abyss.

Seeing that the group started to make preparations to pass the night, Yue's eyes shone, she didn't know if they are truly dead, but she could at least give them some time if they are alive.
