Chapter 6

When I woke up I saw that I was lying on a haystack with a blanket and many others like me were there but I was now not in my body nor my age I had become 7 years shorter and I had turned into a 9 year old kid I had white hair and blue eyes and my skin was not brown like it had been now,it was very milk white, I was bit less muscular than I used to be .

I turned to see a guy coming with a stick towards me he hit me with it but it didn't affect me at all.

"Damn it you hard boned boy now get up and get work or you will get no food today "saying this to me he started to hit the others I quickly got up to see what he meant by work .

I saw he was making all the kids work in mines which was wrong also I was not seriously affected by his beating so I thought why not free these kids but the question comes is how to do it? also where would they go ?

I took the tools and started to break the rocks ,I thought It would be a tough job but surprisingly the rock shattered quite easily as if I was breaking a chocolate bot big rocks I worked then after sometime they bought us food it was a normal thin soup .

After eating again we were supposed to carry on from the talks of many around me I gathered that these were some mine owners gang which bought children from kidnappers and made them work in mines .All the children here were kidnapped and the sold to these owner and the person who woke me up was a supervisor.

Also all the children here were illiterate and only knew to talk and nothing else .so they would not be helpful in getting out of this place for sure .

I came across some guys saying that we will be taken to city for a selling coal in black market so thought this would be good opportunity to do so.

I volunteered to go to city and they accepted me and group of 5 kids .

We went to the city into the black market and we sold the coal all the people here were looking like criminals and it gave more and more urge to leave this place but to leave these kids and to go alone was not good maybe after I release myself I could ask for help from police and get every thief and criminal person caught .

I roamed around the black market maybe they permitted it as they knew the kids did not know the english just a language that these criminals spoke in but my body knew both English and this secret language .

I took off toward a abandoned pipeline where I found a way to go directly to city it was a food way so I entered the city as I was going I saw a group of guys coming they were no ordinary but army guys fully clad with arms and very much ready to shoot they were marching towards the market .

I hid inside a small pipe which went in opposite direction. I let them go I slowly let them go and I came out a voice said

"welcome small guy "it was one of the officers " Don't get scared I won't do anything I am just here to take you to your home "

"Do you promise ??" I asked

He stared at me with wide eyes as if he could belive I was speaking in english.

"You speak in english "

"yes I do, you gotta problem with that "

" No just that I was told that the kids here don't know english just gestures or a code language "

" I was taught it by a good person before I got kidnapped "

" oh so will you come with me there will be place at the academy for you "

"Academy ???"

" Yup I am a army trainee this is our mission to get you guys to a safe place,and we have a academy where we stay for training , you guys could stay there "
