Chapter: At The Hospital

"Mr Do...Yun?" Hyun Soo whispered as she opened the four of Do Yun's hospital room slowly. The lights were off but a small lamp light illuminated the room slightly making everything visible

Hyun Soo stepped inside the room carefully without making a single noise and saw Do Yun resting on the hospital bed restoring slowly with deep breaths.

She went near him and moved her hand above his eyes to check he was asleep or just lying.

"Still sleeping I guess." She said to herself.

Not knowing what to do she turned towards a small stool to drag it towards the bed and sit near him. As sat on it and looked at Do Yun she was surprised to him staring at him, "Ah! You shook me!" She said as she backed a bit.

"Why would you stare at someone like this." She said pouting as she sat upright.

Do Yun kept looking at her with his monotonous gaze and blank face, "I'll switch on the lights." She said and stood up to reach the lights which were just above the side table.

As the tube light enlightened the whole room and she looked at him, all of her jokes and words went numb.

From all the marks he bore on his eyes, lips cheek and the bandage which covered his whole head made her go stunned at her place as she didn't know that Do Yun was hurt and that too so badly. She could see that he is in pain but there was nothing she can do.

She had determined herself yesterday that she'll make Do Yun answer about how he had Eun Soo' purse, but now that he is laying here all silent looking at her with his innocent eyes without uttering a single word she wonders if she has enough confidence now to ask him?

After looking at him for a while she sat down on the chair and asked further, "But....are you fine?"

As she asked, Do Yun blinked once and nodded slightly.

"Who...did this to you?" She asked as her eyes went a bit wet.

Do Yun averted his gaze as he looked at the ceiling and sighed.

"Does it...hurt too much?" She asked in a low voice.

Do Yun gulped slightly and said in a low voice, "No."

"Now that...you've come." He said further but underneath his breath.

"Are you hungry? Perhaps do you want to eat something?" She said as she took out a thermos from her handbag.

Do Yun looked at it from the corner of his eyes and whispered, "What is this?"

"Ah! That...I...was told that you're a bit sick so I bought some chicken and ginseng soup." She said being hesitant.

"I made it! Not ordered!" She exclaimed happily further as she held the thermos beside her face with a bright smile.

Do Yun sighed and shook his head slightly which made Hyun Soo' smile fade away,

"Why? You didn't like it?" She asked.

"No!" He quickly exclaimed with his entire energy as he looked at her with his eyes widened.

"Then...what's wrong with your expressions?" She gradually kept the thermos down on her laps.

"Because...I'm too hungry, So...can I?" He asked.

"Ye-yea, let me help you."

With the help of Hyun Soo, He sat upright leaning on a pillow. She made him gulp down the whole soup, slowly.

"Is it...good?" She was a bit hesitant.

Do Yun childishly nodded as he craved for another spoonful of soup. Hyun Soo smiled with relaxation at his response.

Hyun Soo wiped his mouth with tissues and made him rest back while he kept looking at her. Inside his mind, many things were haunting him from what he saw when he was unconscious made him think if that is what future is going to be like.

As he kept looking into the void Hyun Soo' eyes also looked at him and she asked,

"Do you need anything?"

Do Yun simply shook his head with a faint smile and Hyun Soo nodded as she sat back in the chair.

"Anything you want to ask?" She asked further.

"About the cafe-"

"Don't worry about the cafe I've handled it quite well and I've also asked aunt Sang Hyeon to heir more people."

Do Yun nodded and started to think about something else. After a second or more he asked again,

"Won't you go ho-

"I'll be gone as soon as aunt Sang Hyeon arrives so...don't worry." She again interrupted making Do Yun chuckle.

"Why are you laughing?" She looked baffled.

"No, just...you're quite adorable at this moment."

As soon as ended saying, he, himself was shaken while Hyun Soo got froze at her place.

"Wh-what?" She stammered.

"Ah!" Do Yun wailed.

"Oh! Where does it hurt?" Hyun Soo stood up being considerate?

"He-here...Ahh!" He wailed even more pointing his head.

"Oh! What to do?"

"Should I call a doctor? Doctor! Doct-"

"Nope!" He exclaimed being anxious.

"I-'m alright its..just-just it hurts a bit. It will be alright, I need to rest a bit more. " He said assuring Hyun Soo.

She nodded say back on the chair as Do Yun closed his eyes to rest a bit more. He sighed in relief as had escaped her questions quite cleverly.

"Y-you had said that you'll handle hi-"

"Shut up!" Han Gyeol making Ye Jun all silent.

"There was someone who controlled my powers." He banged his thigh with his clenched fist.

gritting his teeth severely he ordered Min Jong,

"Get me the history of everyone with whom Kang Ye Jun is connected!"

"Kang...Ye Jun? But master...we haven't found him yet."

"Park Do Yun!" He yelled at Min Jong.

"Can't you see that he is Kang Ye Jun?!"

"Can't you see that after....after being beaten so hard he still had the energy to knock down all three boys?! Can't you see that he doesn't belong to here?! CAN'T YOU?!"

Min Jong's eyes went wide and he gasped as he had never thought that, that fragile boy who looks all sweet is that missing and proclaimed dead crown prince of Montiara.

"Why are still standing here?! LEAVE!" Han Gyeol yelled at Min Jong making him and Ye Jun shudder.

Min Jong quickly got out of the ward and made his way out only to find Sang Hyeon and Aera coming from outside the hospital.

"Wait..." Aera said as she made Sang Hyeon stop.

"What happened?" Sang Hyeon asked as she looked at her.

"I've seen this person somewhere else too...Where have I seen him?" She stood there looking at Min Jong while he made his way out.

He was almost out of the scene when Aera stopped him,

"Excuse me!"

Min Jong turned around against his will and looked at Aera with timid eyes. Aera's confidence made him feel uncomfortable he wondered if she had really seen him somewhere.

"Have we ever met earlier?" She asked directly coming to the point.

"N-no!" Min Jong stuttered.

"But..." Aera narrowed her eyes.

"Oh ho! Leave it. Let's go Hyun Soo is waiting for us to arrive." Sang Hyeon meddles in between.

"But Aunt-"

"Let's go!" She dragged Aera towards the lift after she bowed to Min Jong.

Min Jong also bowed back and left as soon as he got an opportunity to sneak out...
