Chapter: He Was Able To Resist

Do Yun could understand or say anything the man pushed him inside the cafe and vanished into thin air.

"Huh?!" Do Yun was confused as he turned around to find no one standing outside the cafe.

"What happened? You alright?" Aera asked him as she kept her hand on his shoulder.

Do Yun looked at her from the corner of his eyes and nodded while frowning in suspicion, "No-nothing."

As he turned around he saw Hyun Soo looking at him being a bit worried. She raised her eyebrows as if asking him what happened. Do Yun simply shook his head and smiled slightly.

"Are you perhaps...hungry? Would you like to eat anything?" Hyun Soo asked as Do Yun went near her.

Do Yun slightly nodded while rubbing the back of his neck lightly. Hyun Soo smiled and placed a sandwich in front of him, "Eat it! And tell me how's it?"

Do Yun looked at her confusion written on his face, Hyun Soo leaned forward and whispered,

"It's made by me." And she chuckled. Do Yun kept looking at her as a smile made its way on his lips.

"F*ck!" Han Gyeol cursed out loud as he banged his fist on the wall of the terrace.

"Why did he go in?!" Han Gyeol, who had been waiting all these days for Do Yun to come out since the day he discharged from the hospital was not irritated.

The spell which he had spelt a week ago could only help him to find the prince if he comes in the contact of the wand even from the distance of a hundred meters. If the prince did so his eyes would've to glow and that would've let Han Gyeol know that it's him. But since Do Yun went inside after almost stepping outside Han Gyeol had no idea whether he was after the right person or not.

As he sat down on the terrace feeling cold as his hair swindle along with cold wind his ear went red.

"Master, waiting here is all vain... let's go back to the hotel." Min Jong came out of nowhere and stood beside Han Gyeol.

"Where the hell were YOU?!" Han Gyeol yelled.

"I-I...went to buy some hot coffee for you, master." Min Jong stuttered and handed over the coffee to Han Gyeol.

Han Gyeol held it tightly with both his red and frozen hands. He opened it and blew it out lightly.

As he took some sips making his insides warm which had frozen by staying up there in that cold wind Min Jong again kept his proposal,

"We...should head back to the hotel, master."

Han Gyeol looked in front for an instance and then glared at Min Jong. Min Jong gulped and started to state the reasons for saying so, "It's... quite cold up here, staying here the whole day and the whole night will make you sick."

Han Gyeol ignored him and took a sip again, "And if... you want someone to tail him then...I can do it!" Min Jong added.

"After all...I'm standing here just because of you so, I must do this task for you."

Han Gyeol stood up while Min Jing kept his eyes low gazing at his shoes.

"You want to tail him?" Han Gyeol asked and Min Jong nodded.

"For me?" He nodded again still looking down.

Han Gyeol chuckled, "It isn't easy, the prince is already quite clever. I thought that all these years...living with these dumb ass and weak humans of this side he must've become one of their kind. But...now I feel I've been taking him too lightly."

"Ho-how...can you say so, master?!" Min Jong looked up at his master who was looking down at the cafe where Do Yun was talking to Aera and smiling.

"That day...even after being attacked so hard on the back of his head he still was able to fight back." Han Gyeol smirked while his eyes showed evilness in it.

"But...I've seen many humans here fighting back even in their worse case, he was just hit in his he-"

"No!" Han Gyeol interrupted and turned towards Min Jong making him look down again.

"I've never judged anyone by just one action, you wanna know what else made my doubt even more clear?" Han Gyeol offered.

Min Jong looked up at his master with a slight fear and confusion in his eyes, "What?" He questioned while whispering.

"Usually if I try to make the human belonging to this side to faint, they faint even by a slight attempt of mine but-" He paused and again looked back at the cafe.

"But?" Min Jong was curious.

"But he was quite hard to be controlled, it was like he had the power to resist my commands. Even after being beaten so badly he still was able to stand against my spell. What do you think...that day...why he was able to fight back too long?" Han Gyeol sighed as he looked down.

Min Jong took a step ahead as he was shocked by he learnt just now, "Because...he was able to resist your spell?" he completed and Han Gyeol nodded, still looking down.

Min Jong looked down at that innocent-looking boy in his twenties, his eyes could bulge out due to shock and fear. Now deep down he feared even more cause till now against whomsoever Han Gyeol had fought only one man was able to resist Han Gyeol's magic or his mind manipulating techniques and that was a saint who also died a month after their battle. People believed he was the saint sent by their mother queen to test her people.

But now that he knew that Do Yun could also resist his magic it also meant that he could fight or even win against Han Gyeol, which Min Jong wished never to happen.

"What happened?" Han Gyeol asked as he saw Min Jong lost somewhere.

Min Jong quickly shook his head, "No-nothing, master. Let's-let's...just go to the hotel for now. It isn't good for you to be here. Trust me I'll keep an eye on him for you." He requested again.

Han Gyeol sighed and looked at Min Jong, "If you insist." He moved a step ahead and passed by Min Jong making him sigh in relief.

But before leaving he stopped for a second and said, "I can only trust you."

And he left Min Jong stood there being lost in his deep thoughts, he knew that this war will end his master's life. Neither he could stop him nor he could make him win. Min Jong had no idea about how will he handle this.

While on the other side Do Yun who was eating his breakfast in the cafe area looked outside and his gaze fell the man passing. Looking at him he thought deeply about that day when he was beaten brutally,

"Was it him whose hands were glowing that day on the rooftop?..."
