Chapter 4

The day after the match with Minato , Kudo Gin became a famous name because he defeated the genius Minato and was also a civilian.

Civilian council , Elders Council etc were the major groups which ran the village government. So naturally Civilian council members had a lot of authority and had some bickering with Clan members all the time. They were happy because two geniuses came from their civilian background back to back .

Gin enjoyed the sudden respect which people started giving him but he did not let it go over his head . He fully devoted himself to train his body because soon the war would start and he could not waste any time if he wanted his life . The great villages had already entered the period of war preparation and only some high level missions were being accepted from outside now .

Soon the news about the early graduation was announced but Gin did not have any reaction to this sudden news because he had guessed it long ago . Minato tried to become friends with Gin but he was just too focused on body training so was tired whenever attended the academy classes . Thus Gin politely refused Minato whenever he came to invite him for something .

Using weight plates he had bought from market using all the savings , Gin continued to break his body limits forcefully because he had already gotten skills which were almost fully mastered from system . Thus increasing chakra level was his current priority.

After two months , fifteen of the thirty two students of Class 1 graduated and became fresh genin .. No test was organized because Ko sensei and other teachers made the list after evaluating their strenght properly. Gin was very happy because he could finally wear the konoha head protector and walk around the village with it on . For an avid fan of Naruto series it was his dream from back on earth .

Currently, Gin and others who had graduated were sitting inside their classroom wearing head protectors because the teams were finally going to announced . Gin had stopped body training two days ago because he could not continue with the heavy training anymore and wanted to give rest to his body . His muscle fatigue had still not healed fully but Gin did not had any desire to sleep today at all because his jonin sensei and two teammates were going to be announced who may have to act together with for a long time on the battlefield too .

Hyuga Ko looked at the children with smile instead of his usual neutral face because he was feeling proud and happy to his students. He felt bitter because they were going to be sent to the unforgiving battlefield at such small age but he knew that as a shinobi of Konoha it was their honour ..

After scanning all their faces once , he picked up one of the the registration forms which were placed on the table in five bundles of three .

" Team 1 . Sarutobi ..... ... "

" Team 7 . Namikaze Minato , .... ,.. . Your jonin instructor will be Jiraya san . "

With the name announced , Jiraya entered inside the classroom with a Cloud of smoke. He was wearing standard Konoha jonin uniform and had his long white hair tied at the back with a rubberband. Gin looked at him curiously because he was somewhat different from the image of his future self in the anime.

Jiraya was smiling as he gently ruffled Minato's hair but his joking personality was nowhere present . Gin guessed that some things must have changed in time for him due to future events . In about a minute , Jiraya left with his team and Ko sensei immediately started announcing the next team . Gin looked at the remaining two students aside him and could not help but sigh because they had pretty average strenght. Gin had hoped to gain teammates who had some special skills but his thoughts turned out to be useless .

" Team 8 . Kudo Gin , Sarutobi Narumi and Kurosaki Taiga . Your jonin instructor will be Senju Tsunade sama . "

Gin's indifferent eyes could not help but budge after hearing that his sensei would be Tsunade . He was too happy because instead of the desired teammates, he got the sensei he had wanted . She will be perfect for him because he wanted to learn the chakra enhancement which Tsunade used to use powerful blows which can easily shatter ground and form a medium sized crater . He would soon gain perfect chakra control like her after allocating ten more stat points to chakra control. He could also learn many things about medical knowledge from her. There were multiple benifits so Gin of course was extremely happy .

" Ahem.. you three will have to go to Konoha Hospital to meet your sensei because she is too busy with a difficult surgery currently. Haha.. she is the best medical ninja we have at Konoha and is the granddaughter of First Hokage . So be respectful and dont cause troubles for her, okay ? "

Ko was a little embarrassed because he thought that she could have just sent a shadow clone in her stead but as he continued to explain, he got proud because Tsunade was a strong kunoichi and had great background being Hokage's student too .

Gin did not care about her background because in his eyes , nothing was greater than her knowledge and skills . The three new Teammates greeted Ko sensei and immediately went towards Konoha Hospital to meet their jonin sensei . The atmosphere was awaited because Gin was being indifferent, Taiga was staring at Gin with fierce eyes while Narumi was feeling helpless because she knew that the two of them were stubborn and wont listen to her easily...

Gin of course noticed the stare of Taiga and he wanted to teach him a lesson too . Gin decided to forget it though because Taiga was his teammate now and it would be bad if their already worse relationship got more worse . They need to trust their backs to each other during battles from now on after all so Gin though that he should ignore Taiga for now. But he did not realise that from Gin's indifference , Taiga felt more annoyed because he thought that hateful Gin was looking down on him . Taiga also did not dare to make a move because he knew that he stood no chance to defeat Gin . So he was feeling mentally frustrated right now ..
