Chapter 6

Konohagakure, Training grounds no 7.

After eating food and introductions , Tsunade mentioned that she was going to test their strengths. So they arrived at these training grounds . It was nothing but a small forest with some plain land but all the area was designated for training . There were more than 50 such training grounds in Konoha and some were way larger too . So one can easily guess that Konoha must be huge village .

The bell test from anime was useless this time because no one was going to fail this time . The senior ninja had carefully chosen the genins and they cannot fail them now because they are needed during war . Genin and Chunin Class ninja were essentially no different from cannon fodder in this huge war but they held great importance too .

Tsunade stood relaxed under shade of a huge tree and eyed her students who sat on the ground in front of her . She was going to test their strengths one by one and then make some training plans for them . After little deliberating , she decided to start with Narumi as she was already somewhat familiar her strength .

Both of them stood few meters apart from each other . Narumi looked serious because she had been told to attack Tsunade with the intent to kill . The request was difficult for a kind girl like her but she was ready because Tsunade wont be injured in their battle anyway because she was insanely strong .

When Tsunade shouted , Narumi immediately kicked ground hard and dashed at Tsunade with her full speed attack which was easily blocked by Tsunade using one palm. Gin was also focused because he wanted to have a good idea of his teammates' strengths .

After one minute of taijutsu bout , Narumi was already pale because she was feeling greatly pressured . She had been using her best technique with full strength but Tsuade always blocked each blow with ease . Narumi had no idea that her flaws were being pointed out by Tsunade and she was unconsciously improving little by little on her techniques. Gin noticed this and realised that Tsunade had great grasp on basic taijutsu techniques too . His previous evaluation that Tsunade only relied on one shot heavy attacks , was proved wrong .

On other hand after watching Narumi trying her best , Gin was impressed because she had good mastery on some D rank jutsu already . Her battle instincts were at basic level too which means that she had been sparring regularly for a while now . At least she would not hold the team back during missions.

Next it was Taiga's turn and Gin really became surprised this time . Taiga had hidden huge strenght behind his kicks and punches because Gin could feel that the noise of cutting air was different. Tsunade still casually blocked each blow of Taiga but she was also impressed by his huge body potential. Taiga's technique was below average which was understandable because he was a civilian and had only learnt basics from academy after all .

He had potential to improve swiftly and his wild battle instincts could be sharpened through battles too . For ninjutsu, Taiga's arsenal was empty because he had only grasped three basic academy jutsu . Gin was impressed by the usual ignorant guy as he had even more potential than Narumi and was just held back due to his limited chakra potential . Still , it wont be a problem for Taiga to reach jonin level chakra at his peak as he liked to train hard which could be easily seen through from his well trained body.

When Gin's turn came , the fight was a high paced one because Gin seemed to have endless stamina as he continued to trade taijutsu blows with Tsunade for more than ten minutes straight. Taiga and Narumi were speechless seeing Gin's relaxed expression because they knew that how hard was it to keep up with Tsunade's wide experience.

Tsunade herself was stunned because Gin's taijutsu techniques were already mastered to high level and he had great control over his body strenghth . Such feats were impossible for even Minato because she knew that they do not have battle experience yet . So she was delighted with Gin's potential as she thought that he was a prodigy made for battles . She of course wont have any idea that Gin had received great experience already when he recieced the skills from system .

Tsunade decided to take this batter up by a notch and suddenly used her chakra enhanced fist to attack Gin who dodged the attack in time but sweated bullets when he heard a loud bang and saw the crater on the ground where his body was situated before .

Gin naturally noticed that Tsunade had decided to fight him little seriously so he was glad instead . Gin wanted to learn more from this battle so he decided to mix in his ninjutsu and observe Tsunade's technique for a little longer time . Gin jumped back with full strength and avoided Tsunade's low kick . He started forming hand seals while still in the air and fired Great Fireball jutsu at Tsunade from more than twenty meters above ground.

Tsunade was speechless because Gin had launched the C rank jutsu with only two hand seals . It was too fast and even teenager Uchiha dont have such mastery over the jutsu like Gin . She was caught off guard but had great experience and strength . So she was able to dodge the four meter huge fireball at the last moment using Body Flicker jutsu to escape fast.

Gin frowned because he could not follow her speed . So when his figure landed inside the smoke and dust , he immediately used Headhuter jutsu to escape underground because he knew that Tsunade only used her full capabilities for a moment because she was caught off guard before but she wont use them again . So Gin traveled underground and escaped from Tsunade's powerful fist which struck the ground after three seconds. Her power was too scary because Gin wont just suffer from a simple fracture if he took that punch with his body .

Gin decided to dont give her time to prepare her next attack . So he came out of the ground and immediately sent seven condensed water bullets at her which were bigger than a basketball each . Tsunade just rudely punched one water BULLET and instantly got surprised by the unexpected huge power behind the jutsu. She immediately chose to avoid the attack instead and used Body Flicker to escape seven meters back before stopping.

The water bullets exploded on the ground and produced heavy sounds and a few feet long crater . Gin was impressed by the might of his jutsu but frowned soon because his chakra amount was only little more than half remaining now . He could not do anything about this because he had used small amount of chakra to enhance his blows when fighting taijutsu bout with Tsunade for thirteen minutes . Then he used 3 ninjutsu back to back and one was even C rank . So even though he had Kage level chakra control and his chakra level had improved greatly after hard training for two months, he still had nowhere the satisfactory chakra amount to battle with jonin class ninja even though the opponent was clearly holding back .

Further fighting would only exhaust him and he won't be able to observe Tsunade's technique properly because of mind exhaustion. So Gin did not continue with his attack and raised both his hands in the air with a helpless expression on his face .

" I give up . " He said and sat on the ground while wiping sweat from his face . Tsunade also relaxed her expression and smiled because she had seen enough and was more than just satisfied with Gin's strength and his mastery on his ninjutsu arsenal . She did not even have a drop of sweat on her beautiful face and Gin could not help but feel little entranced by her enchanting relaxed smile..
