Fortunately, Gin and his squad did not encounter any more enemy squads because Gin would eliminate the enemy scouts on the way swiftly so the squads had no way to know their location .

Gin's mind eye range was little more than 1500 meters so whenever he got close to huge a scout , he would immediately confuse them using shadow clones than finish them off in seconds .

So after two more days of travel at full speed, they finally arrived at the headquarters of Central Battlefield with Sunagakure .

" Capatain , we finally came .. I was scared shitless but thanks to captain's amazing skills we managed to live.. "

" Me too.. "

" Its the power of youth ! "

Gin could not say anything as he saw two teenagers and one twenty year old weird guy hugging each other and crying waves of tears.

He was not being emotional, it was just too disgusting as he never liked to hug or receive unnecessary body contact from males at all.

" Umm.. Gin kun , our captain of items counter is waiting for you . Do you need time? "

The chunin who came to receive them at the entrance looked at Gin and his group with weird eyes ..

" Oh.. let them be.. please . I will follow you inside and I'm not into that kind of stuff for your kind information.. "

Gin helplessly smiled as he walked inside and the chunin nodded because he too was not into gay stuff . The three of subordinates contoured to cry for a long time while the jonin guards standing at the entrance looked at them speechless. Even if you are feeling happy to be alive, is there any need to give bear hugs to each other ? Gin did not want others to think that he knew these three at all..

Naturally there were no buildings inside the base as it was filled with tents of all kinds of sizes . The chunin from before led Gin straight to one of the most huge tents and they entered inside after the chunin exchanged password with him .

Well as expected of items tent . All sorts of weapons were displayed on the boards and items like long bandages and sandals were lying here and three in huge piles . Gin shaked hands with the captain of this counter who turned out to be an elite anbu who wore cat mask . Gin was extremely respectful because the guy had chakra level close to Kage level.

After getting the fuin stamp of mission confirmation and handing over the seven big bags filled with scrolls inside , Gin left the tent happily as he headed towards the mission counter this time .

The base was filled with genin and chunin who were walking or resting outside the tents. Only Tokubetsu Jonin or above ranked ninja have the authority to use personal tents while others had no choice to share small tents . The atmosphere was currently not that good because the army had just finished a large scale battle with enemy forces and more than eight allies died which contained twenty two jonin rank ninja . Truly there was no guarantee that even all jonin can survive brutal wars..

After passing through hundreds of tents , Gin arrived before another huge tent and entered inside immediately. There he saw strange mechanism which was used for large scale simple communications . Simply put it was there to ensure that the news about changes in battlefield and others types of news could reach back to Konoha in seconds of minutes. It could only be used to relay important information though because the burden on sensor ninja was too great for each use .

Gin nodded and started walking towards the small counter at his right side where a familiar figure was currently sitting .

" Haha.. I knew that Gin chan would arrive someday to this battlefield but to think that you came with a small squad to deliver supplies only .. I guess Tsuade must have pressured Hokage to not dispatch you to dangerous battlefields.. "

Kotaro san casually talked and it could be told from his tone that he had casual relationship with Hokage too . Gin just stood there smiling as he finally spotted a familiar figure inside this huge base .

" In the end I came to the Central battlefield which has most elite forces so Tsunade sensei practically wasted her effort though.."

" True .. " Kotaro laughed as he imagined the fuming Tsunade when she will hear of this news . In his eyes the future sannin were just small kids even though they became even more powerful than him now .

After few minutes a genin came with the report after counting and examining the enemy dead bodies which Gin and his group and carried with them stored inside scrolls.

" Sir , we have confirmed 19 Suna chunin dead bodies .. "

Kotaro also widened his eyes with shock for a moment before they became normal after a second.

" Gen chan , how many enemy groups you guys encountered anyway ? " Kotaro asked in a calm tone but he could not hide some shock mixed with it .

" Well , there was a group of 12 chunin at first which I solved swiftly to not lose our travel speed by much . 3 of those guys died by my paper bombs but I'm surprised that their bodies still could be recognized by you guys. The other seven were the scouts whom I killed on the way before they could relay back our location to their hidden squads.. "

Kotaro and Genin were speechless because Gin's tone was like he was telling a short story when he properly told them the battles and how he used his skills to kill them one by one.

After few minutes Kotaro laughed because he was too happy with Gin's huge progress . The small kid who was even weaker than fresh genin before when he came to read books at the library, now became so powerful that even veteran Tokebtsu Jonin were not match for him in less than one year . This rate of progress surpassed Tsunade and other two so Kotaro was sure that Gin would become a powerful ninja soon in future as long as he does not die on the way ..

Kotaro confirmed some things with the genin for a while and Gin did not hear them because he had deactivated his mind eye now .

" Gen chan , from the identification of the enemies you have killed , you have recieved more than 9 million ryo because eight of the enemies had bounties on their heads before too . Your mission completion and all the merit has been reported back to the village . Hehe... rejoice kid , you recieved merit equal to 16 B rank missions . Your further orders are to report to Sakumo and wait for placement further . Haha.. Gen chan , you are too good. Looks like we will soon have a new Tokubetsu Jonin in our ranks too .. "

This time time Gin was speechless because the rewards be it the bounty money or merit points , were too greater than his expectations and he needed some time to digest this good piece of news...
