The next day, Crono in his Cadet Knight uniform was heading to one of the biggest buildings in Cathedral City besides the Royal Palace this building was a giant black skyscraper which is the headquarters of The Cadet Knights. Crono enters the building and takes the elevator to the soldier floor. Crono goes to his office which he shares. where he was a man with blonde hair and blue eyes he was wearing the same suit that he was wearing but he was wearing The Captain's suit. He was the Captain that help him last night his name is Joel Flynn, Captain of the Soldiers Division.

"Hey, Crono how does it feel to be twenty now?" asked Joel.

"Still feels like when I was nineteen the same," said Crono who takes a seat at his desk and starts to work on his computer.

"I see you are a working bee like usual," said Joel.

"Crime has no time for rest, we have several cases going on in the city," said Crono.

"I also heard you are going on the mission to Obelisk is this true to help our sister branch?" asked Joel.

"Correct," said Crono. "But I do plan to use some vacation time will I'm over there to learn about their history as well as visit a few places."

"Damn, I see now using it as a free trip there smart," said Joel. "So how was dinner last night?" he asked.

"Boring," said Crono. "The Captain only complained that I work too much and the Commander was ranting about the council."

"I see another boring dinner with the Zunder Family," said Joel.

"Well, I better get going the mission briefing is about to start," said Crono.

"Safe trip partner bring home a souvenir for me," said Joel." Crono leaves and heads to a briefing room where he will be briefed on his mission.

Crono takes a seat next to the other chosen to go. There were more than just soldiers here. There were people wearing red these were the Lancer division, the ones who wore dark purple were the Hunters, The navy blue was known as the Marines, the dark gold was the Air Force and finally the grey color was the Mages that know magic. There they see a female Knight Lancer Captain her mask looked like a gladiator helmet with red armor with Reggie. This woman was Reggie's Daughter and Crono's Cousin, Alana Zunder.

"Alright, we are here to assign you to your next mission," said Reggie "You be assisting our sister branch in Obelisk,"

"you will be arriving by a teleporter our fastest traveling method," said Alena. They all salute them. Crono stays a bit. Alana and Reggie come over to him.

"So, you going on this mission?" asked Reggie. Alana then takes her helmet she had black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

"You just had your birthday and you heading out for a mission that you might be gone for half a year," said Alena.

"He also plans to take some personal time when he there to it what has on his paper," said Reggie.

"I plan to check out the history and ruins of old times while I'm there," said Crono.

"Man. you're a big nerd sometimes," said Alena.

"Now, it is good to be a soldier but always good to explore the world as a scholar," said Reggie. "I just wish you a safe journey, my nephew."

"Thank you, Uncle I promised to get you guys some souvenirs," said Crono. He heads to the teleporter room.

He enters The Teleporter Room where a Man who was a machine technician.

"Hello, Lieutenant Zunder. I will be your Teleporter today," said The Man.

"Well, hopefully, I get there in one piece that's all I care for," said Crono. The man opens a pod right in front of him. Crono enters the pod it closes him in. The Man goes to a keyboard to type the coordinates. Crono wait but then he sees a Cadet Knight coming out of the shadows he was wearing a Black color cadet suit Crono had never seen this, Cadet Class. The Cadet sneaks behind The man. Crono tries to warn the man but in the pod, it sounds proof. The Cadet Knight strangles the man till he was unconscious. The Cadet Knight types the keyboard to send Crono somewhere else. The Cadet waves goodbye to Crono and presses a button which makes Teleporter, teleport Crono somewhere.
