"It has been a while," said The Mayor of Seville.
"Yes, it has I'm glad you were able to survive this nightmare," said Abel.
"Mayor, why are you here?" asked Crono.
"I came to see my son in law it has been eighteen years since you left Seville your home after you found out about my daughter's death," said The Mayor of Seville.
"This isn't my home anymore not since then I only came back to have revenge on my father," said Abel.
"I know and thanks to you and Crono. we might see peace soon. But I also came here to tell you something about your daughter she is still alive," said The Mayor of Seville.
"Irene is alive," said Abel with shock.
"What?" questioned Crono with surprise.
"That is correct, Irene still lives and she has grown up and nearly looks like her mother but she too shares the blood of Magnus. So, when my old friend George Kramer found her and her mother. He knew of her origins and took her in as her own telling me how she was doing through letters. I hope his soul rest easy. But Irene is alive, Abel," said The Mayor of Seville.
"Why tell me this?" asked Abel.
"Because I want you to be part of her life because one day. she will learn she is a Vampire Halfling," said The Mayor of Seville. "and at that point she would need her true father's guidance." The Mayor then hands Abel a necklace with a blue rose on it the very necklace that Abel has given his wife as an engagement gift.
"Her necklace," said Abel.
"One day I hope you give it to Irene and tell her the truth," said The Mayor of Seville. Abel puts away in cloth he had and puts it in his pocket and enters the passage.
"alright you should head to safety," said Crono.
"Crono, she is praying for your safe return," said The Mayor of Seville.
"I already know and thank you," said Crono. He follows Abel into Seville Prison.
Crono and Abel walk through the tunnel to inside the prison. Crono wanted to talk to Abel about Irene but he knew this was not the right time to do that as Seville liberation is about to begin.
They move the bookcase into the kitchen of the Seville Prison. It was empty at the moment.
"It's quiet," said Abel. "I don't like this."
"Me either," said Crono. He goes to the door to the main hall the prison was in a big room full of cells full of humans just waiting to become a vampire's lunch praying for a glimmer of hope to be saved.
"I bet my kin has the key to these cells," said Abel. He looks up and sees a bunch of vampire beasts on the ceiling sleeping.
"Damn look at all those beasts," said Crono.
"We must be dealing with Carmella. She loves animals," said Abel "even demonic ones."
"I bet we might find the keys in the warden's office," said Crono.
