God of Nightmares

They head into the Inn where they see an Elderly Lady who was the owner of the Inn at a counter.

"Welcome to my Inn will you be staying the night?" asked The Inn Lady.

"Yes, but we have money from my home and I was wondering if it works as payment?" asked Irene. She then shows her money from Seville.

"Hmm, well I look like good money, and if worst come to show I could go to a pawn shop to get something from it," said The Inn Lady. "You should go to it tomorrow to exchange it for our money here in Alassa."

"That might be a good way to find," said Irene.

"Hey, I was wondering if the man who brought us here said something about nightmares?" asked Crono.

"Well, it hard to explain it," said The Inn Lady. "it is better to experience it for yourself."

Irene and Crono head up and head to their room where they see a queen-sized bed.

"Man, it has been a bit since I have seen a good-looking bed," said Crono.

"let's get ready to go to bed then," said Irene. They both put on their sleep clothes and lay down next to each other.

"I hope you have a good dream, Irene," said Crono.

"You as well," said Irene. They both fell asleep.

Cron would dream a familiar memory he found himself. He saw that he was back in God's Domain where he defeated the God, Jaberiel.

"it feels like it has been forever since I have been here," said Crono. He enters the building to the throne room but he did not expect to see a man wearing a strange outfit it was a tattered greenish-gray suit with a hood he had black hair and dark green eyes and pale skin. He was staring at a frozen copy of Crono stabbing Jaberiel in the chest with Jaberiel's sword.

"Well, this wasn't what I was expecting," said The Strange Man.

"Who are you?" asked Crono. The Strange Man turns to Crono.

"Ah, it isn't the Rejector of the God Essence," said The Strange Man.

"Rejector?" questioned Crono. The Frozen copy then changes to when Crono destroyed The God Essence.

"I should thank you, Rejector. you were to one to finally return the world when it was before," said The Strange Man.

"Wait, you know about worlds merged?" asked Crono.

"Yes, but I have no intentions of telling a history lesson," said The Strange Man. "I'm sure we will meet again." He starts to laugh as Crono sees the floor under him break apart and he falls into darkness.

Crono wakes up from his dream and sees Irene up at the table in a blue dress and leather boots to her knees it was now morning.

"You have a bad dream too?" asked Irene.

"No, it was a strange one though," said Crono.

"Well, I was back in Seville watching people getting eaten by Vampires even you," said Irene.

"It's alright it was a dream," said Crono. "I meet a strange man in mine. he seems to know what I did when I merged the worlds."

"Strange, you think he is like the god you have slayed?" asked Irene.

"I have no clue but I would like to find out more," said Crono.
