Another Day in Cathedral

In the city of Cathedral which was one of the most advanced cities in the world it has been one year since Crono Zunder, Cadet Knight also known as The Devil Knight merged the world back together in that time, he saved two cities from destruction and had finally come back to his home able to rest a bit but Crono did not take much time off as he wanted to return to his duties as a Cadet Knight of Cathedral.

Crono was in his bedroom in a house he and Irene live together in the resident district of Cathedral. Crono bought this house because he saw it had a garden in the back yard and Irene could use it since she loved gardening. He was upstairs getting ready to go to work he looks at himself in the mirror and he saw his hair is long past his shoulders.

"Man, I have to get a haircut," said Crono. He then heads downstairs to the kitchen.

Cron enters the kitchen where he sees Irene making breakfast, she was wearing a blue dress with a white apron with white slippers.

"Morning," said Crono.

"Morning dear," said Irene.

"Abel already leave?" asked Crono.

"Dad, is a vampire he doesn't need sleep like us," said Irene.

"Well, that's a handy perk too bad he had to give up living in the sunlight," said Crono.

"Well, it's easier now with his new suit, and he was able to rise through your order's ranks," said Irene.

"Yeah, can't believe he a captain already," said Crono.

"Alana, has offered to you first," said Irene.

"Lancer Division is not my style," said Crono.

"Well, Dad's home is almost done. a house with no windows," said Irene.

"Yeah, it's a unique one he showed me pictures," said Crono. "So, how is our other guest?" he asked.

"He is in the living room being good for once if only he didn't give us nightmares once in a while," said Irene.

"Well, Azah can only give us nightmares since he is not in the Leviathan. Plus, he rather gives me nightmares than you," said Crono.

"You better get going he's all ready to go as well," said Crono. He eats his breakfast and goes to the living room where he sees Azah in his squid form in a specially made jar for him, he was watching television.

"Morning Azah," said Crono.

"Zunder," said Azah.

"Are you ready to go?" asked Crono.

"No, I am not," said Azah. "I never am." Crono picks up the jar with the top handle and they head for Cadet Knight Headquarters.

They were walking down the road when they see other people enjoying their morning.

"I hate humans," said Azah.

"Oh, I know," said Crono. "Man, I wish my car wasn't broken."

I thought cadets have vehicles they can use in your base?" asked Azah.

"Yeah, but by the time I get approved car it will be fixed it has been a week since I put one in to use," said Crono.

Crono and Azah get to the Cadet Headquarters and head for the Soldier Division to his and Joel's office he sits Azah at the coffee table and turns on the television and puts the television remote near him.

"Probably, nothing on like usual," said Azah.

"Well, it better than being locked in a room that guards all day without a television," said Crono.

"Fair point," said Azah.
