The Scholars of Aira

Crono and Azah find themselves inside the Library they see what looks like endless giant shelves of books.

"Whoa, this place is bigger than it looks outside," said Crono.

"It looks like a pain to sort through," said Azah. He glance around till he saw a little girl putting a book away on the shelves. she had white hair and white eye wearing a brownish robe with fair-colored skin.

"I can see what you mean," said Crono.

"Hey, Crono there's a kid over there," said Azah.

"What?" questioned Crono. He looks and sees the girl and she sees him and starts running away.

"Damn, she got away," said Azah. Crono starts running after her.

Crono keeps running till he reaches a man in iron armor with an Iron sword in his right hand.

"You, I haven't seen you before?" questioned The Man in Iron.

"I am Crono Zunder, Cadet Knight from Cathedral City, here to find out about this painting," said Crono.

"Well, be off unless you want to get hurt?" asked The Man in Iron.

"You won't hurt me," said Crono.

"Oh, what are you crazy?" asked The Man in Iron.

"No, your form is pretty weak," said Crono.

"What?" questioned The Man in Iron. He goes for a slash but Crono dodges it and grabs his right wrist and gives The Man in Iron a back left elbow in the face and disarms him. The Man in Iron stumbles back holding his face with blood coming down his nose. Crono kicks the iron sword up and catches it with his left hand.

"You see, you left yourself wide open for me to give you that," said Crono. "But I'm not here to fight I come in peace." He hands him back his sword.

"Are you really from the Outside?" asked The Man in Iron.

"Yes, I come in to find out the mystery of this painting," said Crono.

"Alright. I can tell you are trained I will bring you to the professor," said The Man in Iron.

"He must be your leader, very well," said Crono. He follows him into the deep of the library where a bunch of people were. They look curious at Crono as they know he not from here. The man leads him to an office in the middle. He goes inside and tells him about Crono and comes back out.

"He will see you, Sir Crono," said The Man In Iron.

"Thank you," said Crono. He goes in.

Crono enters the office and sees a middle-aged man he has brown hair and hazel eyes with glasses he wears fancy clothes and a woman with black hair and purple eyes wears a fancy frilly dress shirt wearing a brown apron her clothes are covered in paint with the little girl from earlier.

"Hello, Outsider, welcome to The Great Library of Aira," said The Man "I am Professor Darin."

"I am Crono Zunder, Cadet Knight of Cathedral City," said Crono.

"I guess this is where the painting has come," said Darin.

"Yes, but why are you guys here in the painting?" asked Crono.

"This might be hard to bear but when we separated the world into their own sections, we were tasked to keep the history of the old world here," said Darin.

"So, you know about the world being separated?" questioned Crono.

"Wait you already knew?" Questioned Darin who was confused.

"Yeah, it has been one year since the world was merged back together," said Crono.

"What?" asked Darin.

"This boy speaks the truth," said Azah. Darin sees Azah in a jar.

"Well, God of Nightmares it been eons since we saw one another," said Darin.

"Yes, and you see I have become this man prisoner by the hip," said Azah.

"Only because I thought being in a jar in a jail cell would be too harsh for you," said Crono. "I could rethink about it at least I know I would sleep well knowing you are there."

"Fair point," said Azah. "anyway, it's true the world is one again."

"So, Aira has been restored finally," said Darin. "Or maybe a New Aira has been created."
