Chapter Sixty-Eight: Reasons

A wetness on my neck stirs me awake, and it takes me a few blinks to figure out where I am. The Shangri-La hotel. The wetness that woke me up comes from the lips of the man I have grown to love. He is planting wet kisses on my neck as he whispers sweet nothings, coaxing me awake. The action makes me giddy.

"Good morning, beautiful." He gushes as he plants another kiss behind my ear. I turn my shoulder in his arms to get a look of him, and my breath is taken away by the gorgeous smile that is planted on his chiseled face.

"Morning, baby." I whisper, feeling self-conscious about my morning breath.

"I will never get used to hearing you call me that." He sighs and buries his face in the crook of my neck. Sliding my hand up his naked back, I guide my fingers into his hair and kiss his temple. A hum rumbles from the back of his throat as his free hand grips my waist and pulls me into him, making me feel his erection against my ass.
