Chapter 7

Harlen and the duchess looks troubled when they saw Aira standing at the balcony Aira surprised when she saw both of them. "Aira! Don;t jump! your life is precious you should treasure it more!!!" Harlen said with worried expression.

"Oh my!, She's right you know!? don't worry you will be my child!!! we can solve this!" as the duchess said with worried expressions. Aira looked at the ground and the guard that patrolling saw her. "MISS!! DON'T END YOU LIFE!!!" as the guard shout. "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! I KNOW I CAN DO THIS!!!....I JUST NEED TO GATHER MY RESOLVE AND CONFIDENCE!!!" as she shouts.

The duke heard her shouts and ran to the guest room to see what's happening, The duke saw Aira at the balcony the duke lose his consciousness. "FATHER!! YOU NEED TO STOP HER!!" Harlen said while shaking the duke's body,

"Aira you're a good girl! I know it from the start!.. trust me my dear!" as the duchess said. Aira grit her lips.

[If it's comes to this I don't have a choice but to jump!]

"Aira! you still didn't get the golds that you earned by saving me!, come down and take it first!" Harlen said with smile. [That shiny background and your smile will not deceive me anymore! keep the golds I don't need it!] *Aira's thought*

Harlen ran to Aira and trying to grab her but Aira jumped before Harlen reached her but Harlen grabbed the bed-sheets that knotted on Aira's arms she pulled her but the strength is not enough to pull her up.

"MOTHER!! GIVE ME A HAND!!!" as she shouts, Harlen is desperate to pulled her up and Harlen's mother run towards Harlen and hug her the duchess also help.

"D-DEAR! WAKE UP!! AND HELP US!!" as she shout, the duke opened his eyes and saw Harlen and the duchess pulling Aira he stood up and help them. After a while Airasaved from falling.

Huff! Huff!..

"Are you an idiot!!!...Why are you trying to kill youself!!" Harlen scolding. [wait!?....What?....she think I am trying to suicide!?.] "B-But I am trying to escape." as she said.

Harlen, duchess, and duke got angry and worried at the same time. they catching their breath while they are sitting on the floor. Harlen left and also the duke but the duchess stayed with Aira. Somehow the misunderstanding has been cleared.

"MOTHER! MAKE SURE TO GIVE HER A 3 HOURS OF SCOLDING!!" as she said, "I agree!" as the duke said and nod.

the sun climp up but the scolding is currently ongoing when the duchess noticed it's already morning she smiled at Aira and spoke softly. "Oh my! It's already morning!...Oh well, next time don't do it ok?." as the duchess said, Aira nod and the duchess left Aira slept until she woke up on after noon.

After she take a bath the maid approach her with a change of clothes while being naked she looks surprised and immediately grab the change of clothes and pushed the maids outside then closed the door.

[I think I will never get used to this!]

after she change a clothes she search for the duke to claim the reward, she got lost and ended up at the library. Someone approach her at the back and blown on her left ears she got surprised and she turn around and put a distance while holding her ears.

"You're lost don't you?" Harlen said, after Aira realized it's Harlen she put down her guard. "It's just you hah..." as she said.

"Ahh! right! I forgot to tell you since you're trying to jump from the 5th floor...Well I guess this is good time." Harlen said,

"What is it?" as she asked. "Well you know...Mother already said it before you jumped at the balcony...That you've been adopted..." Harlen said.

"WHAT!!!!!!!???...I-I didn't heard this!" as she said.

"well you know Father make it official after we eat." Harlen said.

[this is too fast!...How do I able to go to adventure!!!??.] *Aira's thought*

"Where is the duke!?" as she asked with a high tone, Aira looks troubled and gloom she grab Harlen's arm and searched for the duke, Harlen don't have an idea what's happening.

"Stop dragging me!!!, And CALM DOWN!!" Harlen said, "How am I supposed to calmed!!?" as she said.

"ALRIGHT!!! I WILL LEAD YOU JUST STOP DRAGGING ME!!" Harlen said with crying voice. Aira stopped running and she let go Harlen's arm. Harlen walk unsteadily and Aira followed her from behind. They reached the duke's room and Harlen knocked at the door.

"You may come in." as the duke said, A butler open the door and Aira entered the room with Harlen, the duke stopped his work and looked pleased when he saw that she's wearing the dress that he bought.

"Oh! Aira my daughter! what's your bussiness!?...do you perhaps want to get your reward for saving your sister?!" as he said.

[This family is dangerous than I imagined!]

"Ahem!...I can't be part of your family." Aira said, [Yes this is one of my skills when I was a salaryman!...SKILL! NEGOTIATE!!!] *Aira's thought*

Harlen is shocked and fake her cry. "Why!? AIRA!? DO YOU HATE ME THAT MUCH!!??, THAT YOU DON'T WANT ME TO BE YOUR SISTER!?" as she said while acting sad.

"I-ITS NOT LIKE THAT!" she said. "It's not I don't want to be part f your family it's just that I want to go to adventure." as she said while looking down.

"well then that means you'll be part of this family right!?...You'll back home when you reached yoour goal right!?" Harlen said and smile.
