Chapter 25: Who Did It?

The next day, Carla woke up early. Probably because she slept early too. Her mother's voice was truly comforting. She couldn't help fell asleep by it.

It's still 5 am at dawn, since it was still early, Carla took a bath by herself with the help of her butterflies then went to her space.

When she went in, she directly went to the bamboo house and asked Lulu to get Bear Bear.

When Lulu got the stuffed toy, Lulu went back as fast as she could.

Carla was laying down on the bamboo floor when Lulu came back. She certainly liked this small house, it wasn't cold nor hot. Just perfect and peaceful.

She wished she could just grab her loved ones and stay here with her, however, she didn't want to imprison them for her selfishness.

She sighed, she sat on the bamboo stairs outside and took Bear Bear. "Gwen, can you duplicate the key inshide Bear Bear? Just something looks alike but the function should be different."

"Hmm, I think I can. But, I must see what it looks like then I can grab a leaf from the Big Tree so I can create one." Gwen answered.

Carla pondered, she didn't want to take Bear Bear's head, her mother did great work on it! The thoughts count!

Seeing Carla having trouble deciding, Riri came over and told her, "Master, I can turn back time. But, only for non-living things. I can help you with your stuff toy."

Carla was astonished, Riri got this ability?!

Reading her thoughts, Riri explained. "Master, all of us have each one special ability. Lucy and Gwen as the twin space. And I got time capsule ability."

Gwen nodded, "Normal abilities, such as flying, shield, medium grade heal, and others, are what we all learned. However, each one has different purposes and got one unique ability."

Carla gasped, "T-then, why you didn't tell me before?!"

Lulu giggled, "Hihi! Master, our unique abilities were somewhat sealed. We couldn't remember what it was until it was needed."

Riri yawned and agreed, "Yes, Master. When I read your mind, my seal was unlocked."

Carla claps her hands, "Wahhh!! This is amazing!"

"However.." Riri stopped for a moment (A/N: and smile, char, price tag song, LSS, can't help my bad) and yawned.

Carla gulped, this intense was killing her! Why did she have to stop talking?! And why did she interrupted her?!

It took for five intense seconds before Riri continued, "However, I can only do that to non-living things, master. " She yawned again, "...for now." She mumbled.

Carla didn't hear what she was mumbling about but heard and focused on the former. "This is better! This is precisely usheful!"

Carla told Riri to separate Bear Bear's head and took the key inside. Then she asked Gwen to create a duplicate with another function.

After that, Carla put the fake one to Bear Bear while the real one back in the cave guarded safely. Riri put back the head to the body of Bear Bear and it looked like nothing happened.

Carla was very delighted! This problem was solved! And all she needed to do left was waiting for fate to do its part!

This isn't the beginning yet, she was just preparing to fight. She wasn't that smart, but she learned how to scheme thanks to the mother and daughter duo.

A scheme for a scheme!

After fixing Bear Bear, Carla used the other time left to gather the pixies and let them plant some vegetables and fruits.

The space looks so empty even with a bamboo house, a big cave, and a big tree.

The place exactly looked like an empty grass field.

But with plants and trees, it felt like she was in an enchanted forest. So beautiful, so magical.

....

When Carla went back to her room, it was already 8 am. Her mother would come and look at her if she was still asleep this time around.

She took a book from the shelf and pretended to read on her desk while waiting for her. Well, she honestly did read the book because of waiting and feeling bored.

Her patience as a kid was kinda little, though, when it comes to a serious matter, her patience was wide. She can't make a single mistake in this last time or else she'll regret it.

She wasn't that smart but she learned very well. That is why, she didn't provoke anyone much but instead, ignoring them for now.

Well, a little provocation as a kid is fine. But she must know her limits.

Leila slowly opened the door to checked on Carla, however, she was surprised to see her daughter reading a book on her own.

Carla slowly looked at her like an elegant kid, "Good morning, mom. How's your sleep?"

Leila couldn't help laugh hearing what her daughter said, this what exactly she asked her every morning.

"Good morning to you too, my lovely daughter. My sleep was wonderful. How about you?" She walked towards her and kissed her hair.

She smelled a shampoo fragrance from her daughter's hair that shocked her. She frowned.

"I slept well too, mom," Carla replied.

"That's good. But darling, who took you a bath?" Leila asked with confusion. She simply told the maids that she will take care of the kid unless she was working.

She wanted to be hands-on, with her daughter. So who did it?

"I did, mom. I already knew how to take a bath on my own." Carla showed a cheeky side to her mother and smiled.

Of course, Leila was once again stunned. She checked her daughter's hair to see if any shampoo left on her hair.

But none. It was smooth and already dry too. It means, she took a bath very early. "What time did you woke up?"

Carla pondered for a while before answering, she was gonna say the time but Lucy reminded her. "I don't know, mommy. But, there is no light outside much. Just a little red light."

Leila guessed it was after dawn. She sighed, she now believes her daughter was truly a genius! Not only she can take a bath by herself, but she also read a book and waited for her in the room!

So diligent!
