Snatched

Recap

I returned to my apartment in a hurried manner. In spite of the fact that Mauwim had come to pick me up, he didn't bother to speak to me because he could see the rage in my eyes. Just before heading back to the house, I expressed my gratitude in hushed tones. There was no one else present, which I appreciated because I did not want to engage in conversation with anyone at the time.

I went back to my room and collapsed into my bed for a few minutes to recover. After every disagreement I had with Christian, I was left feeling completely exhausted, both physically and mentally. I was lying in my bed, staring up at the white ceiling above my head with my eyes. My thoughts raced through my head, and I considered calling Praise, but I didn't want to wake her up if she was still asleep. Just wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. I was in a hurry.
