Chapter 11

Soojung's POV

After talking to Eun Na, the rest were curious about what happened so I told them what happened to Jaemin and Eun Na.

"Oh, Is my love okay?" Jisung asked.

"Who's your love?" Johnny asked.

"Eun Na, of course," Jisung said with a worried expression.

"Eun Na is fine but Jaemin but is hurt badly. He got hit by a car" Poor Eun Na.

Suddenly, Jaehyun said, "Let's check them out."

"Which hospital are they at?" Taeyong asked.

"I'm not sure, wait" I texted Eun Na but even after 5 minutes, she still hasn't text back so I just called her. She said that it's the hospital near the Han River. There's only one hospital nearby so all of us went there together.

We reached the hospital and Taeyong helped me asked the reception where Jaemin was. We walked in the hallway and I thought of her a lot and is also very worried that she might get traumatized by what had happened. She's young and Jaemin was obviously her first love. I cried when I saw her crying and sobbing into Jaemin's mother's arms.

We walked over to them and bowed respectfully to Jaemin's parents. Eun Na stood up and hugged both Jieun and me. I stroked her head and said, "It's going to be okay."

"We're sorry for what happen," Taeyong said while bowing to Jaemin's father. Jaehyun and Johnny offered to buy coffee for Jaemin's parents.

After they went to buy coffee, the door of the surgery room opened and the doctor came and said, "Sir and Ma'am, the surgery went well."

Jaemin's parents were so happy to hear that and so were we but then the doctor also said, "but he is currently in a deep coma"

"What?" Jaemin's mother said sadly as she was about to cry. Eun Na nearly fell to the ground upon hearing that.

"Is he going to wake up?" Jaemin's father said to the doctor.

"We are not 100% sure. We have done our job and now it's time for his turn. He has to fight it to wake up" the doctor said back.

"Thank you so much for you had done, doctor," Jaemin's father said.

I know Eun Na just couldn't stand not seeing him so she asked the doctor "Are we allowed to see him now, doctor?"

"Yes, you all are" the doctor replied. Jaemin's parents let Eun Na go in first. So Jieun and I went in with her together while holding hands know that Eun Na could not handle it alone.

As we get closer to Jaemin's bed, Eun Na let go of our hands and she went closer to him and sat on the chair near Jaemin's bed. She holds Jaemin's hand and whispered "I'm sorry" to him with tears coming down her face. TT TT

Jieun's POV

After a few hours with Jaemin, his parents decided to left and asked us to take care of him but I think they were talking to Eun Na. I feel bad for Eun Na. Eun Na still gets the same nightmares from 6 years ago when her grandmother got admitted and passed away because of a heart problem but at the same time Jaemin's laying on the bed with a tube in his mouth and wires everywhere, the picturing was exactly the same as Eun Na's grandmother.

As she was sobbing, I and Soojung unnie trapped her in a group hug. "It's going to be okay. It's not your fault" Soojung unnie yet again said to comfort her and to also ease her mind.

I nodded agreeing to what Soojung unnie said. Eun Na stopped crying but as a habit, she develops when she's nervous or scared is that her lips quiver and she'll sometimes play with her fingers. She was doing that while sitting near Jaemin's bed and staring at him.

It was getting pretty late. "Unnie, you guys should go home. It's almost midnight," Eun Na said as she stepped out of the ICU.

"You're supposed to rest more Eun Na. It has been a long day for you" Jaehyun oppa said then the rest nodded.

"Wah, you guys are so caring" she teased us as she smiled.

"Of course," said Jisung.

"At least have your dinner first," said Kun.

"It's okay, I'm already full," Eun Na said stubbornly.

"You HAVE to eat something, or I'm not letting you stay here," I said to her.

"We need someone to stay here with Eun Na, I'm sorry but I can't stay here with you because I'm babysitting my sister" Soojung unnie said.

"I'll stay with her" Kun and Winwin said at the same time.

"Guys, I'm fine alone. Really"

"No, Eun Na let's go to the cafeteria before we leave. Kun and Winwin, you guys are fine staying here, right?" I said.

"YES!" Kun and Winwin said.

"Okay then." We went straight to the cafeteria and bought some food for ourselves. At first, Eun Na refuses to eat but after Soojung unnie glared at her, she slowly eats the food.

"Unnie, I'm stuffed," she said after eating only a few spoons of rice.

"Eun Na yah, you haven't even eaten half of it," Johnny oppa said.

"Eat a little more, Eun Na" Soojung unnie said nicely.

"Come on my love, you want me to feed you?" Jisung teased and got closer to Eun Na while offering a spoon full of rice and beef on it. She just glared at him.

"Come on, Eun Na please," he said with a frown. She gave up and just ate it.

"Guys, I'm a big girl. I can handle things myself"

"No, you're not. It's just your personality that's mature but mentally you're 6" Jisung said while smirking.

"I hate you so much right now." Eun Na was probably got embarrassed by Jisung's words. Jisung just laughed at her which makes her laugh also. It's nice seeing her smile again, like a real smile:)

After eating, Eun Na, Kun, and Winwin send us to the entrance. We gave a goodbye hug to Eun Na. I gave her the biggest hug that I can give her. "Please, be careful and If anything, happens just call us, okay," I said to Eun Na with a caring smile. "Goodnight guys, take care," Johnny said. "Bye!" Eun Na yelled from afar. I actually went home with Johnny oppa because Mark has to go back home early. It's been a while since Johnny and I are together alone. I am still worried about Eun Na though:(

Eun Na's POV

Um, my biggest weakness is newcomers yet Kun and Winwin oppa volunteer to company me at the hospital. When we were in the elevator I bravely asked them both "Oppa? Are you guys really okay about staying here overnight?"

"Yah, we told our parents earlier," Kun oppa said. I sit at a chair next to Jaemin's bed and stare at him intertwining our hands. I don't know but I was a little crazy at that time, so I talked to him, asked questions, and answering the questions myself. LOL. Both of them, Kun oppa and Winwin are asleep. So, it's fine.

My eyes were getting heavy and I was about to close my eyes to sleep but then suddenly I heard a beeping sound. I looked up and saw a straight line appeared on the cardias monitor. I was shocked and scared. I didn't know what to do and just yelled for help from the nurse. My yelling apparently woked up both Kun oppa and Winwin. The doctor came and asked us to wait in the waiting room.

I was scared of what meant to happen to him. A nurse came out rushing to the registration counter for a call. I gathered all my courage and not to cry again and just wait patiently for any sign of the doctor. Jaemin's parents came at the same time as the doctor came out of the ICU. I didn't want to interrupt because his parents are more important so I just stand there waiting.

I looked at Winwin and Kun oppa and Winwin oppa was about to lay his head on Kun oppa's shoulder but Kun oppa rejected it quickly and pushed Winwin oppa's head. Can't deny that makes me giggle a bit. Okay, back to Jaemin's parents, his mother suddenly burst out crying that made my heart ache just thinking what did the doctor said.

The doctor was about to go back in when I grabbed his arm and asked him "Doctor, what happened in there?"

"Owh...sweetheart, we're very sorry but we did whatever we could to save him but we couldn't. It was too late. He just couldn't be saved. I'm sincerely sorry."

I let go of his arm and I looked at Jaemin's parents with a tear dripping down my cheeks and just hold in the rest. I gave Jaemin's mom a sincere hug and told her that 'I'm sorry' and broke the hug and bowed to them. I needed to be alone to feel better so I excuse myself but then Jaemin's dad holds onto me and said, "It's okay, it wasn't your fault okay, EunNa-yah."

I just smiled and bowed once again to him. I had nowhere else to go and just went straight to the rooftop. I just cried my eyes out at the roof and sat on a bench there.

"Are you going to be okay?" I heard someone said. I turn around and it was only Winwin.

"I don't know" I replied to him. Winwin sat next to me and lean me on his shoulder to cry on. He patted my head but I just cried my eyes out and just didn't bother his action.

"Feeling a little better now?" he asked.

"Yeah" I nodded.

"Um, okay!" I said getting up.

"I'd better go and greet Jaemin's parents before leaving."

"Sure, I'll go with you," he said. I walked approaching Jaemin's parents feeling guilty.

"Eun Na-yah" Jaemin's eomma called me. I seat next to her.

"Yes, ma'am?" I nervously.

"Stop feeling guilty about this. It wasn't your fault" she said sweetly while trying to calm me down.

"I'm sorry. It's just can't stand the fact that the reason Jaemin is dead was because of me. He was me the last time" I said with tears in my eyes.

"Sweetheart, everything happens for a reason and God knows his doing. It wasn't your fault."

"Thank you so much, ma'am"

"No worries and just call me eommonim comfortably," she said.

"Ne, eommonim," I said with a smile.

Winwin and Kun oppa went home so I decided to go home as well. I took a taxi that night because I felt uncomfortable being with Jaemin's parents right now and plus I need to be alone. As soon as I opened the door someone hopped in front of the door and tried to scare me.

"Yah! Eun Na-yah" I just cried and hugged him.

"OPPA!" It was your older brother, Yuta. He studied abroad because of some scholarship exchanges but came back that night and continued his studies here. We just talk...about his time abroad and about what going on with me. I didn't tell him about what happens to Jaemin because he doesn't know him and I just don't want to cry again because he might worry and I don't want him to worry when he just got back so I just kept it to myself for now.

Do I tell the others about it NOW??? Or tomorrow? :(
