Harper lives in a world where angels, demons and other things that go bump in the night are real. They coexist with humans peacefully.

 The only thing to separate them, besides the giant wings, is schooling. Humans attend a normal school, while the other half attend special academies hidden around the world to protect the knowledge passed down through generations. 

Harper is different she is 18, young beautiful everything an angel should be. Only she can fly, she shouldn't be able to. Female Angels can't fly, shouldn't fly. That should have been the first clue. 

Her life takes twists and turns even she can’t foresee. In a journey of love lost, found, and changed, Harper must learn what it means to accept her heritage before it’s too late for everyone.

Soaring.

I faded in and out for the next couple of hours. Only coming to full conciseness when I was forced away from Camden. When we finally found a car with a phone my mom nearly teleported to us, and she about died when she saw me.

"Harper...Jesus..." She looked to Cam who was in just as bad a shape as I was.

"What happened? Report." And Camden started to open his mouth and I put my hand over his lips.

"Mom, can it wait? Please? We will both tell you everything just take us home..." She looked at me with caring eyes and nodded.

"Okay, come on." Cam slid me into the seat of one of the cars and closed the door. I thought had meant to circle around, but when another door didn't open I looked back as the car pulled away. Oh hell no. I kicked the door open and my mother had a heart attack slamming on the breaks. I poked my head out and Cam looked at me with longing eyes.
