A New Dawn

Another Day, another Dawn.

The Sunsets Call Me, and yet I Yearn. For it is the Mornings of which I am Required. It is the Nights in which I Do My Best Work.

There is a certain Clarity that Comes from the darkness. The Path is unmistakable whence you turn on the LIGHT. There is no denying your next Move. There is no distraction - the TRUE temptation slithering amongst the Garden.

"Eat of me," the Tree of Knowledge whispers.

You turn away. This is not the way.

But in the Morning, a New Day awaits. The birds are singing, the People working, the Children playing, the chaos reigning. The noise. The tasks. The structural routines. A social cage in which we are free to roam about, never TRULY Seeing what Life is all about.

We accomplish or we don't. We Respond accordingly per our Societal Constructs. We carry on, eating freely of the whispering tree because how can we TRULY tell the difference between Life and Knowledge?

We can't. We believe the Trees to Be Silent, but they are not.

The Trees whisper. They Connect. They Shimmer, and they Dance. They Call Me: "Come, let's Play!"

I envy them.

"I can't."

I Love the Trees, for they SEE The TRUTH. Together We Grieve the loss of The Fruit as our flesh succumbs further and further to our thirst.

We Need Water. Life Water.

Where will I Find it?

Perhaps THIS is My Calling.

The King stirs. My Thoughts interrupted. I am tired.

I shall pick up Tomorrow. A New Day is Coming.
