Tunnel Vision

I walked quietly down the corridor leading to my Private Quarters, my Heart beating abnormally fast.

The Thought of Seeing Xavier again had me reeling. I Needed to regain my Composure and Prepare myself for what is ahead of us.

The drawing room door came into view. I slowed my pace as I approached the very same room I had tumbled into less than an hour ago, stopping and gently knocking before letting myself in.

Still empty. What a Relief..

Taking a seat on the red, velvet sofa, I bowed my head and Prayed silently.

"GOD. I Come before YOU, Humbling my Self to YOUR WILL. Please Guide my Path. Show me The Way. Uphold this QUEENDOM in Accordance with YOUR Assured Steps. I Uplift these Requests. Thank YOU for Gracing me with YOUR Listening EAR. Amen."

I rose and let myself out of the room, continuing towards where I had left Xavier earlier this morning. I Needed his Help to Complete this next task. Without him, I will fail. I entered.

"Good Morning, Xavier."

He was casually laying upon the bed, his long, muscular legs stretched out, ankles crossed and both hands behind his gorgeous head. He was freshly showered, his sleek waves damp, yet tame. His shirt falling open, revealing his chiseled, masculine frame. It took every ounce of effort to maintain my Composure.

Xave lifted his dark lashes, revealing his molten gold and amber eyes. My insides pooling as images of our Intimately Shared Moments flashed through my head. I felt my folds moisten between my thighs.

"QUEEN." Xave replied in his Deep, sensual Voice.

Oh, GOD. I Need to pull my Self together.. I am The QUEEN..

"I have a Mission for you." I heard myself say.

"How can I be of Service to you, your Highness" He ran his tongue between his lips.

My juices flowing in anticipation, I brace myself and continue forth. "I Need you to Gather Information from the Guard. They have expanded into our tunnels. You will play the role of the escaped prisoner should you be captured. We have less than an hour."

"Mmm.." Xave bites his lower lip. "You Need a spy. And what do I Receive in return for this Generosity?" He flashes his lust-filled eyes.

"This Opportunity to prove your Loyalty. If you Succeed, you will Gain my Trust."

Throwing his lean legs off of the bed, he rises and walks over to me. "And should I Choose to Betray you?" Xave crosses his arms, arching a brow.

I lean forward, sensually dragging the outline of his ear with my teeth before lowering my Voice. "Then I will See to it that I personally slit your throat."

His hand flew to my neck in a firm grasp. "Are you sure about that?" He whispered darkly back, his eyes burning into mine.

"Yes."

He released me and took a step back, opening his arms wide. "Let us begin." He said with a Confident grin.

"The entryway to the tunnels is within reach per the farside of the Village. You will begin your Mission here, carefully navigating the tunnels and collecting evidence as you see fit. Any whisper, conversation, sign or relic is indicative. Gather what you are able."

"And should my position be compromised?"

"You will be dealt with." I said with resolve.

"I am your puppet." His eyes blazing in threat.

"You are still an unKnown stranger to my QUEENDOM. I Know not from where you have come or why you are here."

"Yet you Give of your Self what you Gave to no man."

"A Decision."

He gives a half-smirk, eyes catching afire. I Breathe cooly, fanning the flames. The temperatures rising.

"Enough, Xavier. We have little Time. Do this for me and you will be rewarded. Do not, and you Know your fate. I will Lead you to the Village. You have your orders from there."

"Then Lead, my QUEEN."

I turned to exit the room. Xavier closely followed.

We made our way quietly through the corridors, down the stairwell, and out through the underground pathway which leads directly to The Village. I stopped short of the exit and whispered.

"Find what you are looking for. I will meet you here at sundown."

He reached out, grazing my lips with his thumb.

"I will come for my reward, QUEEN." He whispered, sliding his thumb into my mouth.

I bit down.

"Feisty." He smiled wickedly. "Careful, Será. You tread in dangerous waters. I might not Choose to play the Gentleman next Time." Xave bit his lip.

He slipped his thumb from my grip and stepped out onto a sun lit riverbank.

"Until tonight." He whispered and left.
