I went back to the cave and saw that all of them were still sleeping, completely in sweat. I looked upon all of them and afterwards at Marcus. He was looking at the high fire and was also tired on his own.
"How long was I outiside?" I don't know why but the only amount of time that comes to my mind is around an hour.
"Probably twenty minutes or something like that." He said senselessly with just a short stare.
"Only twenty minutes? Oh, it reminds me of something. Do you know any of those signs, I think those are runes but I am not completely sure." Then I took one of the almost burnt sticks, ignoring the pain. It wasn't even comparable to the one that was inflicted on me by the psycho and my brother, I think something is happening in my body. . Then I drew those two signs on the wall in our cave. The weird T and the S with two lines cutting it horizontally in the middle.
"Those are… I don't know actually. The only thing that comes to my mind is that those are some runes. But what runes? No idea." He seemed to be interested because he stood up and came close to the drawn signs. "Where did you get those?" He then asked and touched the signs on the wall for an unknown reason.
"When I was training something weird happened to me. I don't need to tell you since you probably won't help me, the only thing I can say is that it was incredibly weird." At this moment I heard a yawn from somewhere. It was Bog and Finn, they woke up. Marcus put the meat from before on the fire, they are surely hungry.
"Good morning." They both said while yawning and stretching their arms.
"Mornin'." Marcus answered while going back to the bed made of leaves where he rested and slept before.
"You've slept well?" I asked before they could even stand up. They looked pretty tired even after sleeping for the entire night. God… That reminds me that I need to piss.
"I sleep good yes!" Finn nodded with a happy tone in his voice, he jumped out of his sleeping position and didn't seem tired anymore.
"It was a good sleep." Bog stood up with no emotion on his face and approached the runes I drew before. "Where did you find those?" He then questioned me while still looking at the signs.
"While I was training something appeared in my mind and saw those kinds of signs on them." I wonder if he has anything to say about it. Maybe it's related to his tribe?
"They remind me of something but I have no clue what exactly. Something I've seen somewhere… But where?" He was scratching his head with the tips of his fingers. The fat from the meat was once again burning down slowly. This made the whole cave smell with the meat once again, a very nice and compelling smell to the human nose.
"How long wait!?" Finn wasn't able to resist the incredible smell of the boar's meat still cooking. He was looking at it with the spit drooling down on the ground.
"Cover your mouth, don't do something like this. It's very uncultural in the outside world." He explained it to Finn and he immediately wiped his mouth and closed it to prevent drooling.
Finn seems to be a really dumb… Someone. He is a monster that was raised by monsters but how is it possible that it is that long and he still needs to learn more from Bog. They are here some time, still alive and Finn still doesn't know a lot.
I should go piss actually… I can't hold it for much longer.
"I will come back in a second." While saying that I was already at the exit ready to go out. The hoarfrost is still on the leaves and bushes but now a little warmer. The sun was visible from above the crowns of the woods, shining through the leaves. I went behind the nearest tree here, pulled down my pants and pissed right under it. What a relief, what a relief…
I put them back on and headed back to the cave. On my way back I looked around and the only thing I could see were the sun rays flowing through the leaves. The trees as well together with bushes and grass covered in the thin frosty barrier. Again the wooden wall, entrance to something that I could call hope. For now, hope.
The nightmare was a dark and cold place with spikes coming from up and down trying to eat me like a monster. And the entrance like a snow white glow that is in the form of a circle, angel's halo. But the glow is inside rather than the outside and now. The entrance, a wall rather. Made of wood covering the inside of something that resembled hope, the last feeling. The warmth that we will forever feel in our bodies at both good and bad times. So… I just entered the nice heated cave after pissing behind the tree. Somewhat weird to think so much about pissing myself but that's better than questioning myself without an option of me answering them.
When I entered the cave once again I saw Estel wake up and Matthew being the last person sleeping. He wasn't lying on the ground nor seated on it, he was looking at the two small signs I drew before. Touching the dead wall with the signs.
"Estel! I have a question for you." Before he said anything I had to interrupt and be faster.
"What is it?" He looked back at me instead of looking at the signs on the wall.
"When I was training today… Something pretty weird happened that I am not able to completely comprehend. I saw the tree that I used for training as a person that was and still is really despised by me, everything besides it. Was just dark and then from that dark a sword emerged and flew in my direction. Once it got to me I was able to remember the two signs that are in front of you. Probably runes or something. They were written on that sword, in the middle of the blade that was also painted in golden color. Do you know anything about it?" Once I asked the question he looked at me deeper, with an almost killing stare.
"Interesting… In just two days, you were able to manifest your soul sword. That's really something! I can tell you that you are pretty talented!" He almost screamed from enjoyment. What does it mean though?
"But what… Does it actually mean?" I asked the question that before was only in my mind.
"It's something that each swordsman gets once they understand something. If there is a goal that they want to accomplish, it will create itself according to the goal. My soul sword has a dark blade and red handle. Can you describe the one that appeared before you?" A lot of questions have gone through my mind. Out of it and from somewhere to it.
"Well… It was a silver like sword with the middle being completely golden, almost glowing. With those weird signs on the golden part. Yellow strip of skin as the handle and the guard in between also completely golden but with no signs anymore." As I finished this sentence the elf jumped a little bit. Why did he do that? Is something wrong with the sword?
"I am not a fortune teller or anything. My sword is dark and red because the thing I am looking for or rather I want to accomplish, is revenge for my mother. Not more and most people with this kind of color have the same intentions. If you find someone with the same color as mine or yours, they have somewhat similar purpose but different paths. But your golden almost sword… I don't know the meaning of it. It could be something weird or something different. Filthy? Maybe. Not all beautiful colors mean that you will do only great deeds nor is it impossible for it to become the path of great deeds. I want to see what your sword means… But I won't be able to until you get good at expressing what you want to. It's also one of the things that help with mastering the realm, it did for me at least." He exhaustingly explained this weird phenomenon that has happened to me.
A path… What could my sword mean? What could it be? His sword means revenge. So what does it mean? A silver and golden sword. What do I want to even show? Hatred? I don't even know myself… It's all so weird. Fast and confusing. One day I am completely useless and one day I start learning how to use a sword. But when will I find a purpose or a goal for it. Will it be a good one or a bad one or none of these. Do I even want to show emotions behind it? Should I even answer any of those questions...
