The recollection of all the pain in the world, the suffering of everyone I know is finished. Yet, there is still a thing I have to prove to myself and to the dead, keep my respect and do what they want me to do. It will be a hard task, changing the entire world. The man who is going to help me is right now searching for something inside of a great library, maybe an infinite library. I was now left alone right next to a single table with two chairs. It was right next to me, a candle on it. One of the few lights in the entire place. I looked at the books, all of them were in this weird type of code. Only a single person in this world can read that, only he can. He then came back to me with several books in his hands, he laid them on a table and took one. Once again changing the letters.
"Elros, master. I heard that there are many castles that belonged to mana users in the world… Do they actually exist?" The question left my mouth while he was reading a book in his hand. "Astrology for beginners", I wonder why he took that one instead of something more about actually learning how to use mana. Is it just for him?
"Oh, right. That is a question I was expecting but in a little different way. There are several castles, not just castles but overall homes of many mages. There are books just like here, there are other techniques and different teachings. There is quite a lot to learn about mana, even some things I still haven't learned but others did." He quickly explained while still searching for something inside of the book. Looking for something specific while I was staring into the darkness, an abyss that would swallow everything in existence if it had the chance. Now, there is the light, blue glowing light of mana.
"How can someone enter? I heard that the way to enter is by using mana crystals by altering some old mana technology." A small grin once again appeared on his old wrinkled face. He was already at the edge of just falling into some unknown pleasure, it must be that I am his new student. Who wouldn't be happy about a student that proposed becoming one? He hasn't seen anyone like that before.
"That's a common misconception, mana crystals wouldn't be enough no matter how many you have. Only a man who has grasped mana can open it, it takes a lot of energy and you have to constantly replenish your own to actually make it work. I know that because I knew some of them and everyone has the same type of door closed with a specific rune. Only someone who uses mana can power it and open the door, you were lucky with me. I was actually having a walk around that forest, lucky you." There is probably no question he cannot answer, he was answering even without thinking it through at all. It was an instant answer, he has nothing to hold back from. "Now, before you can create your first planet you have to learn a little about forming it. it's not an easy process, firstly you will have to create two stars. Then merge them together and afterward make a normal environment inside on the earth."
"How can I do that though?"
"I will help you just a little bit, I can't do more than telling you what you have to start with. So, first, you need to clear your mind, after that, you have to imagine the energy, pure energy. Then you have to form them into a shape, something like a star. Then those two need to merge, that's how you start and that's how you create the beginning of your solar system." I sat on the ground, not on the chair. I went into a position in which my legs were crossed, I left my hands without any strength inside them anymore. Imagine a star… What shape is a star actually? In the books from my library, it was shaped somewhat, dumb. Did it look very easy? Or maybe something else than that actually, I am not completely sure. Is it more like a planet? Or is it exactly like in the books I read.
A dark space of nothingness, I felt a wind blowing into my hair, into my closed eyes, right into my face. Something was emerging from the dark mass around me. It was a white flow of wind, I saw it, not just felt it. Then an orange glow around me started becoming hot, as it got closer the heat increased. A brown thing behind my back, even with closed eyes I was able to see it. Somehow… I saw something behind me and I saw it without even me opening my eyes. Then a green light surrounded me, it was everywhere, on the ground, in the air, in the sky. Just everywhere you looked, it was there. Then it changed into something else, it was grass. It was actually a grass. In front of me now. Something more, there was grass, there were a lot of shelves with books, a table, a candle. It was… The world? Was it the world around me or was it something more than that? But what does it have to do with creating a star… It was a good question to ask myself. I strayed from the way now, I had a right start but now I went somewhere else… It's hard to focus on something.
"Is it normal that instead of actually creating it, I created everything around me?"
"It is, imagination, as easy as it may seem. Creating something like a real planet is hard, even though you were able to create energy inside your mind. Good beginning, I personally when I was being taught, I was able to create earth after around an hour. So you still have time to show off, now, continue. I need to find some more things for you." He then quickly disappeared from my horizon. I gasped loudly once again not being sure of how to react to him. Then I once again closed my eyes, again it was time for me to deepen my imagination in that dark world of nothingness.
Everything appeared as it follows, somewhat of a pattern it seems. Wind, candle, bookshelf, grass. That's once again how it went with it just being a lot faster than before. What can I do to create what I need? What is actually that energy he told me about? Is it something more than anything I ever thought about? Another thing appeared in my consciousness, it was dirt, sheer dirt without grass as well. It was just a brown mass, rocks on it as well but that's just a part of the natural floor. Once more, something attacked my not moving face. Even that touch of water didn't make me open my eyes or flinch, I was still sitting without moving at all. Blowing wind, burning knot of a candle, dirt and rocks, water. All of those are the basic elements of this world, this is how they were created. This is what they are and what created the place we all live in. Humans and not humans as well. The whole world is based on them… But what is the base of a star? What is a star created from… Is it also an element? Is it something more than just those same from the earth? That can't be, it makes no sense for it to be a star if it had the same things like the earth on it. It's somewhere far, in the cosmos, it can't be an element like those on earth and finally, it can be seen from earth. Fire? No, big no. That's an element. Again, it's far so it must be cold, the higher the colder. So… Maybe it is fire? But if it's that far it can't be… Steam! If we see something from that far here, still so bright and it's this far away… It means it's cold there, so, fire is vaporizing the cold outside and that creates a star!
"Master! I think I got it!" I screamed in the library and then in a blink of an eye, he appeared next to me.
"It really does sound weird to be called master after so many years… What have you got."
"Since we see stars from so far, they must be incredibly hot, just like fire. And since it's so far, it's also cold. So stars must be created from steam!" He looked at me perplexed. He seemed as if he looked at either an idiot or someone completely new on this spectrum of understanding.
"You were close… There is gas in the cosmos, that gas when heat increases becomes denser. The more heat is created by a core of a star, the hotter it gets, the denser it becomes. So, a star is born. But pretty good, in just around ten minutes you created a star. Not bad, you have some potential. Now, that's not even half of what you have to do. Hmm… If you do it in the next 20 to 30 minutes. I will reward you with something, how about that?" He threw a book in his hands away completely, it floated in the air and slid inside of a bookshelf.
"What reward?"
"You will be allowed to stay here for two more days." He showed me two of his fingers while saying it.
"I am sorry… What?"
