Jungsik sat on the comfortable couch in his large, well organised office room with neatly painted white walls and wide glass windows that could clearly see through the whole city from his room in 9th floor of their company building.
Keeping the laptop on his lap, concentrating on it in search of his wedding designer, since his father wanted a grand and a perfect wedding ceremony for his only son, only to get frustrated after opening endless sites in search of a perfect designer but none of them were any of his choice.
He closed his eyes for a while, thinking he would've just let his assistant do it when he asked before but he was too stubborn and insisted on searching it by himself. He sighed as he open his eyes to continue what he was doing.
After openning few sites, something finally caught his eyes, "Kim's Delicate Flowers." The presentations and decoration styles of their previous works that were uploaded in that site were pretty impressive and people who have worked with them before gave pretty nice comments and reviews on praising how perfect their decorations are, how profession and understanding they are with their works.
After checking the high ratings and reviews, he decided he finally found what he was searching for and started to check for more information where he found their email for contacting them. He sent a request email right away to which he got a quick reply of approval after few minutes.
Jungsik sighed in relief when he found the perfect designer. He was already impressed enough to trust them just with a single email he recieved.
Just when he stood up from his couch, his assistant came inside his room with a piles of finished paper works and kept them on the table and plopped down on Jungsik's couch with a sigh without even caring about the one who was staring at him with annoyance.
"What are you doing?" Jungsik crossed his arms as he stared at him.
"Can't I just lie down here for a few sec?" the assistant replied lazily, still shutting his eyes closed.
"You're my assistant here Hosung hyung," he's now glaring at him.
"Even if I'm your assistant, I'm still your friend, right? And also, I'm older than you," he said, reminding Jungsik of who is older between them. "And, I'm seriously tired today. Do you see that? It was me who finished all of them. Please let me take a nap here, huh? Please?"
Jungsik just shook his head with a sigh, letting his friend took the rest he deserved, of course he knew how hard the older works.
After few minutes of silence in the room, while he was checking the paper works on his table, Hosung opened his eyes, "When is your wedding?" he asked out of nowhere, breaking the silence.
Jungsik was taken aback with the question, a bit. He paused his fingers from flipping the paper and sighed, "In 3 months," he replied without looking at the older and then continued what he was doing.
"In 3 months? Woah, how can you get marry before me and leaving me behind? And I, being older than you, still dont even have any girlfriend yet?" Hosung got up and he's now sitting with crossed arms, "You should search one girl for me too so I can also get marry. Or, if you can't find any, then you should treat me a meal."
Jungsik sighed again but didn't answer anything, still focusing on his work.
Hosung stood up, already pissed off with the younger's ignorance, "so, you already started ignoring me even before your marriage?"
Jungsik placed the papers down on his table and stood up, "Hyung, you can clearly see I'm already... like, really tired of all these works and you're making me more annoyed with all those questions and-" he took a deep breath, "I'll talk to you later hyung. You don't have any work now so you can go home and rest well."
Hosung stood up and walked near him, "Ok ok. I'll go. I was just trying to crack some jokes so it can make you feel little better because I can see how stressed you are these days but... it doesn't look like it works. Instead, I've worsen it more I guess. Sorry Jungsik-ah."
"Hyung, it's not like that. I was just-"
"It's ok. I can understand." Hosung smiled at him while patting his shoulders. "But, are you... alright, Jungsik-ah? Is there anything bothering you? If you have anything, then you can shared it to me you know, I'll be there to listen to you," he was all serious for the first time in his whole life.
Jungsik chuckled at his serious look, "I'm fine hyung. But, I've been with you for the whole 13 years but today is the first time seeing you with a serious face like now," he laughed, a bit.
"Hey! How can you say that?! I'm of course usually a serious person!" Hosung placed both of his hands on the sides of his waist, trying to make a serious face but Jungsik could just laugh at his friend.
"Ok then. I'll go now. I'm relieved that I can finally see you laughing. I hope you're feeling better now," he smiled.
"Yes I am. Thank you Hyung," Jungsik gave him a smile and watched his friend going out from his room, and now, he's all alone again.
He sat down and was about to continue his work but he just decided to go back home since it was getting late anyway.
As his car drove along the city, he stopped the driver in front of a small cafe. The cafe was not so big and not so small, it looked so calming and relaxing with the melodious musics playing inside so he decided to go inside to freshen up his mind a bit. As he enter the cafe he could feel sweet scents spreading all over the place.
Not a bad place for some alone time for himself and besides, a seat by the corner near a window always feel like the best spot for a night coffee.
While he was waiting for his coffee to be served, people in the cafe start applauding with claps all of a sudden. He turned to his side to see what was going on but couldn't see exactly what was happening actually since everyone stood up to go near the small platform and crowding up there.
"What's going on there?" he stopped the waiter who was about to walk away after serving him his coffe.
"Ah..! There is a singer of this cafe. She can sing very nicely and everyone loves her voice. Some people purposefully come to our cafe daily just to see her singing," the waiter explained.
Jungsik nodded and smiled, "Thank you."
After the waiter walked away with a bow, he took a sip of his warm coffee and tried to see through the people standing in front.
He could see someone get on the small plateform with a guitar on her hand but couldn't see the person properly since the people in front started jumping and screaming.
He looked away after trying for a bit, he was just curious. Just when he took another sip, his ear got filled with a voice. He wasn't really a music person but the mesmerizing melody of the song, the sweet beautiful voice along with the sweet tune of the guitar along with the sweet scent spreading all over the place, the already calm cafe suddenly felt even more pleasing and calming than before.
He turned his face towards the plateform and everybody already settled down back to their seats and were humming with their hands waving in rythm with the song. The bright lights went dimmed with purple soft lights matching with the sweet pleasing melody.
Jungsik could see a familiar face, a view he once wished to see again.
He could feel his heart skipping its beats while his eyes forgot to blink.
"Wait. Is that her again?"
