Confiding

Sayesha looked at the boys and they gave her a reassuring look.

"Look guys, I hope you know that you are very precious and important to me. I had no idea that I'd get so much of affection in such a short span of time. I genuinely..."

"Umm monkey, if it's going to be a gratitude speech bullshit then I'm out," Hoseok said.

"Yeah I mean is this what you were worried about? Thanking us? I swear to god you're so dumb. I've named you correctly," Jimin said shaking his head.

And that was it. Sayesha lost her cool. She was sick of people cutting her mid sentence. She yelled furiously.

"Ahhh what is the matter with you two!? What is the matter with everyone in this company?!! Why doesn't anybody let me finish my goddamn sentences?! No seriously, tell me! Is it genetic?! Company genes, perhaps?! Listen I've had enough of your clownery and now if you don't let me speak, I'll legit throw you out of the building!! Is that clear?!"

Hoseok and Jimin's eyes widened. They sat there dumbfounded without uttering a single word. All they did was nod continuously.

"Damn! Sayesha is scary when mad," they must've thought.

Sayesha rubbed her forehead in frustration and started speaking again.

"See, I've been trying to bond with each one of you so that, I could understand you better. It's a part of my job. I succeeded to an extent too but with Yoongi oppa and Jungkook, nothing seems to work. I know that Yoongi oppa isn't very expressive but he doesn't even discuss work stuff with me. He sends either Namjoon for it or not even that somtimes. I wish he could be more vocal about his needs because that's what I am here for, right?"

"Yeah," Jimin said.

"Right," Hoseok said.

They didn't have the courage to speak anymore so, they just kept listening patiently.

"And Jungkook? I have tried to find ways to talk to him but he is always so awkward around me, which I completely understand. I'm new here but what's unacceptable is that, he keeps suffering and still won't tell me. You guys saw what happened day before yesterday. Due to the intense dance practice, he had a severe back ache. The boy couldn't move a muscle after a point but didn't tell a soul about it. I was standing right there. He could've told me. He is the only one younger to me here and I feel responsible for him. I keep trying but nothing seems to work so, I could really use some advice." she said looking down at her feet feeling dejected.

Hoseok went close to her, cupped her face and said,

"Hey monkey, we understand okay? I mean it is your first job and a huge responsibility. Being a female manager for a boy band isn't a piece of cake. Look, things were different with Sejin Hyung. He was older than us so all of us didn't ever hesitate to share our issues but do you know something about Yoongi Hyung?"

Sayesha looked at Hoseok.

"He admires you just the way he admires Kookie even if he doesn't show it. Just the way Kookie is our maknae, Hyung considers you a maknae too."

"Well, she is a maknae," Jimin said playfully which made Sayesha laugh a little.

"Haha yeah she is. Jin Hyung is expressive so we see how he cares for us but Yoongi Hyung? He must be thinking that you already are so occupied all the time. He doesn't wanna bother or burden you more. But be sure of the fact that he cares about you," Hoseok said.

"Yeah man, his ways of showing care are out of this world. This one time he got me a present, he came to my room and literally threw it on my face and left without saying a word!," Jimin said.

Sayesha cracked up on this.

"Yeah so, give him some more time. Try to have conversations with him, initiate more often. I'm sure you'll make an amazing bond soon," Hoseok said smiling.

"I think you're right. I'll try harder with oppa. I have to," Sayesha said exhaling.

"And Jungkook? He is one hell of an introvert. He has reasons for his awkwardness. He was 15 when he became a trainee with us. The time he was supposed to spend socializing, making friends, he spent it hustling, working hard. He didn't experience the usual teenage. Life as an idol changed him a lot. He was the youngest, most naive. That's why he still has some reservations, you know?," Jimin said holding Sayesha's hand.

"I understand, Jiminie. I care about him and I'll make him feel comfortable with me. I won't give up on them," Sayesha said.

"Finally the dumb lady spoke something sensible!," Jimin teased her and they started laughing again.

"Umm guys there is one thing more I wanted to talk about," Sayesha said.

"Then, spill my lady," Jimin said dramatically.

"It's.. it's about Namjoon."

The '94 liners Hoseok and Namjoon were roommates and more like best friends.

"What about him?," Hoseok asked.

"Guys you see, my job requires me to be strictly professional but around him even work doesn't feel tiresome. Despite of having so many responsibilities, I've never seen a line of worry on his forehead. Whenever he is around he pays all his attention to me. Even if he is tired, he isn't tired of being there for me or listening to me, needless to say that he makes me feel so special without expecting anything in return. How can someone be so pure?"

Jimin and Hoseok were listening quietly. Sayesha took a heavy breath and continued,

"I've seen him with others and I've come to the conclusion that, h-he is different with me and that makes me feel something too. I just don't know what. Hobi, please, I want to know what he has in his heart. What is he feeling lately? I want to know where is this heading. Do you understand what I'm saying?"

"I.. I do. Concentrate on your work, monkey. Leave this to me and don't worry," Hoseok said.

While Hobi was comforting Sayesha, Jimin's expressions changed as if a realisation had hit him but he immediately shrugged it off.

"You two are my best friends, I trust you and I want you to keep it all a secret, please," she said holding their hands.

They nodded.

"You have our word," Jimin said smiling a little. Hobi nodded.

So, to ease the tension in the room, Jimin quickly spread his arms and said,

"Okay group hug, guys!!"

Sayesha's mood finally got better. Three of them hugged, clicked pictures, teased each other and got busy with their "BFF time." Sayesha was feeling as if a lot of weight was lifted from her heart. She felt better, lighter. She was determined to make it right with Yoongi and Jungkook. Hoseok had to talk to Namjoon about what he was feeling lately. Meanwhile, Jimin was clearly anxious. Who knows about what?
