The Runaway Best Man

"I..I..am...am Mico." I uttered then I offer my hand. This feeling is so strange. I am not like this before. 


There is a warm feeling in my face and in my belly. There are thousands of butterflies want to escape inside me. I knock my head a little bit and whispered, "Stupid!"


"Mr. Tolentino is done introducing himself. So, each of you will do the same. But before that, let me introduce myself first." Ms. Rayda said in front. Renz is sitting in the chair in front of me which my teacher provided for him.


"I know that most of you already know me. So, I am Ms. Rayda Fernandez, 30 years old and I am the adviser of this small class. Also, I am your teacher in some of your subjects.


"There are fifteen of you here in my class. So, I want that each of you will be comfortable with each other especially you, Renz." She pointed to Renz. 


"Be a good friend to your new classmate." She is referring to us. "If you have questions and concerns, never hesitate to approach me. Is it clear?"


"So it's your time to introduce yourself here in front!"
