Chapter: Apollo's Offer, Layla's Choice

Layla almost tripped and hit her head. The sudden shock of seeing Bryce transform into Apollo had rocked her to the core. She knew her best options were to run and get help. However, Apollo was much too quick for that to happen. She had to find another way out of her predicament.

"Apollo... W-What are you doing here?!" Inquired Layla as she backed up.

"Oh, no need to be afraid, Layla! I'm just here to talk... Besides, if I wanted to, I could have killed you already."

Layla tried to settle her breathing. She knew Apollo was right. If he had wished it, she would have already been dead.

"Talk about what..?"

"Zane and your partnering with me, of course! Hehehoo!"

"Partnering with you? Don't be crazy! I'll never partner with a monster such as yourself!"
