Chapter 6 - Introducing the Bush Wife

Will didn't remember much about his life before the accident but living with his grandparents was awesome. He was pretty sure he didn't have this much luxury before the accident. Apparently, his Uncle Nathan had wanted him to move in before the accident and now it was like he'd lived here his whole life.

After the accident, Uncle Nathan was his legal guardian and he met his sweet but meddling grandmother and his too-cool great uncle. He still hadn't met Uncle Nate but every once in a while his grandmother would accidentally call him Nathaniel and get sad.

As he lay in his bed he wondered about the smell that had him weak in the knees and in more lust than he'd been in all his previous years of raging teenage hormones. He was sure that whoever she was, she had to be female, he was pretty sure that he wasn't gay, damn, if it was a guy that would mean he was gay. Man, that would suck, but only because Will had never even thought of another guy before.

Bryan had said something about the house having been set aside for a male teacher. Will prayed that the teacher had a hot daughter who was at least a freshman. Would he be able to wait until she was legal age before- the desire to do things he hadn't even done overwhelmed him to the point where he had to grab his pillow to mute the groan that came out of his mouth, he snickered to himself.

Grams had a weird way of hearing certain sounds and ignoring other ones. He rolled onto his stomach and rolled back onto his back as his physical arousal continued to increase. He stood up and changed into sweats.

Walking carefully he made his way to the gym bypassing the treadmill in his room. It was going to be a rough night. All he could think of was the way every other scent in the house just lured him. The other day, the whole team could smell the wafts of hunger-inducing food that came from the house.

He had to get a grip on himself though. Mom would have an infarction if he messed up the opportunity that Uncle Nate had set up for him. He wasn't even sure how he'd gotten onto the football team after his last run-in with the police.

Uncle Nate must have gone out of his way. No, not even the hottest daughter of a teacher would ruin it for him.

Within the first month of their arrival, Thokozani had gotten into a schedule and had prepared fully for the rest of the year for all her classes. There was very little she was not prepared for. She'd been warned that the seniors, juniors, and freshmen would probably give her the hardest time and she wasn't about to let that happen.

It had been difficult adjusting to taking care of her husband, a household, and working at home. Ronald didn't seem to understand why she was on completing a year's worth of work in a few weeks. The more he saw her working the more he accused her of slacking on her household duties and seeing wrinkles that she made certain were not there whenever she ironed.

It was becoming frustrating to the point where she would burst into tears after he bemoaned the wear and tear of his shirts, the lack of shine on his shoes, and her inability to match his suits correctly. She only had a few more weeks left before the first semester began and she needed to get it together. She'd been very lucky when they were still in Zimbabwe; it was almost common to have some kind of house help.

Ronald's family was wealthy and his mother had made sure there was a gardener to tend their garden and a maid to help Thoko keep tidy and cook. It made life so much easier. Now, because she was the one without a job, all the household tasks were left to her, the cooking, and the cleaning.

She'd drawn a line at tending the garden beyond watering the yard of their home, Ronald could very well push the lawnmower and trim the hedges. Of course, Ronald would never stoop so low as to do the work of a gardener so the grass in both the front and back yard was growing so fast she was sure there were snakes in the grass now.

She sighed as she thought of the ironing board she'd asked Ronald to buy when they first arrived. Nearly 5 weeks later and he still hadn't bought one. He was rather busy these days. He'd been going to sites and writing reports late into the night.

He'd been given a teenage intern, three weeks ago and Ronald was quite certain the boy was quite daft. It seemed unfair that Ronald would be tasked with babysitting a misguided teen as well as his normal duties but Thoko was certain he would be able to prove himself worthy of the task. It would also go a long way towards him becoming a senior engineer.

He'd worked so hard back home that they barely saw one another; he only wanted what was best for them, so that they could start their family. It would take long hours and lots of hard work to pay back Ronald's gambling debt from university. That is why he had taken the job at Titania and she had applied for the post as Creative Writing teacher at Hilton School of Excellence.

It was going to work out, this time next year she would be holding a baby, if not pregnant. She'd worked it out to the last cent. Everything she earned would go into their joint account. She'd made sure the school would pay for all her expenses and provide her accommodation, it meant less pay for a while but it was worth it.

Thoko smiled at her last thought as she inspected their home one last time before turning her thoughts to what she should make for dinner. Ronald hadn't mentioned bringing anyone over but she kept getting this feeling they would have visitors at dinner time. The more she thought about it the happier she felt, she loved entertaining.

Deciding to go all out she made a starter of butternut soup, she'd just perfected the recipe and was eager to make Ronald proud. She'd placed a chicken in marinade the day before uncertain of what to do with the bird. Deciding on an oven roast she speared the chicken and turned on the oven. This meal was going to be delectable.

She'd made a special blend of herbs, wine, and sauces yesterday that had Ronald hungry. Speaking of hungry, she found her mouth-watering every time the football team jogged past her house of late. Chuckling at herself she made a plan to make tonight special with her husband after all she'd start work soon and time may not avail itself and she wasn't planning on joining the horny teens who didn't have a life partner to indulge in the pleasures of the skin with.

By the time Ronald got home with two of his co-workers dinner was ready and Thoko was pleased that she had trusted her intuition. Ronald strolled into their home in a charcoal grey suit which showed his broad shoulders and perfect proportions. He exuded elegance, sex appeal, and confidence with every step. Thoko came out into the hall to greet him.

Ronald's eyes lit up when he saw his wife in a cute pair of shorts and a tight tee-shirt under her apron. The guys from the office were going to eat their hearts out, he thought. Even though he knew that she'd heard their voices Ron asked his wife if it was okay for them to have guests over for dinner unannounced. Speaking in her mother tongue Thoko told him that it was fine and kissed him.

From the living room, Ron's co-workers heard a sexy female voice say something they both knew was not English. Both of them were curious to see what an African village woman looked like and if she looked like she sounded they couldn't wait to see her. When Ron walked into the living room to join them with a grin Jack couldn't suppress his curiosity.

"So does your wife even speak English?" Jack asked trying to catch a glimpse of her through the door.

Ron burst into laughter and clapped his workmate on the shoulder as he sat down next to him on one of the leather sofas. "You'll find out soon enough man."

Jack brushed his red-brown hair from his brow. He wondered if she was like the women from Hawaii curvy, petite, and tempting. He looked at Pedro who was gaping at the door. From where they sat it looked like she was wearing only an apron and a t-shirt. Kneeling before her husband she clapped her hands together in a way that made a hollow sound. She moved across the carpeted floor to where Pedro sat and spoke quietly as she greeted both men again clapping her hands several times creating the hollow sound.
