Epilogue

Charlotte pointed over at the maintenance room.

"This is the room you went in, right?"

"Obviously. Where else would look like the maintenance room?"

"I guess so. Anyways, take a look inside."

Charlotte tugged at Euna's arm, guiding her into the room with Lyra and Wendy following behind. The four girls examined the charred up area. A lot of the equipment was burnt to a crisp and remnants of what seemed to be spots of heat stains peppered the door.

The other three seemed to not have a clue what was behind the burned area but Euna already knew exactly why everything was the way it was.

"Also, the school said that the maintenance room was apparently damaged so there's no running electricity for today."

"Right..." Euna mumbled silently.

Lyra gestures towards the window with Euna's name clearly written on in black pen.

"Here's the window. Are you still sure you signed the portrait?"

"I swear to god I signed the portrait."

"I mean, the portrait is here, practically untouched."

Charlotte glanced over at the actual portrait. Lyra walked up to the portrait just to check for Euna's signature.

At the same time, something dawned upon Euna that moment. The portrait she saw and the actual portrait looked different from each other. The actual portrait looked just like a regular person. What she saw that night was not anything normal.

"Guys, I think I need to go to the bathroom."

"Okay then. Take your time and don't force your dump."

Wendy called out to Euna, her response met with bouts of cackles from Lyra and Charlotte.

Euna immediately took off to the bathroom to vomit at the sudden thought that occurred in her head. She toppled over the sink and stared at herself in the mirror before grabbing hold of the counter and regurgitating her morning breakfast.

"Note to self, never do anything that scary ever again. Not even if Charlotte tries to convince you." Euna noted to no one in particular.

She was feeling light in her head and felt as if she could just pass out at that moment. She held her head, letting it rest on her palm.

"Ugh, seriously... Who knew that the window I signed had the real deal on the other side staring back at me?"
