Jared on getting to his room, slammed the door hard. His face had a mixture of pain , disgust and anger in it. He slammed a fist on the door with anger while looking for an outlet to let out all the pain inside him but still couldn't.
He undressed and walked into his bathroom, put on the shower and as the water poured down his head as he cried.
He had loved Meggy so much that her betrayal had broken him.
He had been a loving and faithful partner and have always been there for her before he discovered that she was cheating.
He wondered where he might have gone wrong that made her start cheating or probably she has always been that way without his knowing.
He remembers when they first started dating She has been 17 and him 19. she was so naive that she blush at little flirts, the first time they kissed she couldn't look at him afterwards because she was shy. Her innocence and purity was something he vow to always protect knowing how she was.
They had talked about their dreams and aspirations. They listed their goals which they were both working towards. They were in the same university and well known on campus due to their looks, commitment to each other and their brilliancy.
Someone has sent him a note that Meggy was cheating on him but he thought it was a joke. The note came with an evidence of where she was and he was very skeptical about it.
It came as a shock to him when he had knocked and got into that room to meet her with one of the richest guys on campus who was a well known playboy.
When he had first gotten the news he didn't believe it until he saw them.
That day was the worst day of his life and he knew till he dies he did not think any other day can top that, that the woman he had love for over four years was cheating on him and he had caught her too.
He had often wonder thinking back what was the attraction about Andre was to her knowing the kind of person he was.
He thought he knew her but that day proved he didn't.
When Megan cheated on him, it not only broke him but it also change how his sister Melissa viewed relationship that she has not been able to trust anyone even his best friend Mark wasn't spared from it. They were all affected.

The ringing of his cell phone brought him back to reality as he stepped out of the shower and picked it up.
" Hey man!", He said after discovering who was calling.
" J is everything all right?", Mark asked him at the other end.
" Yes, ..... Sure . Everything is fine", he replied then asked " why did you ask?".
" I saw the way you held Megan earlier on", he said.
" Oh! It is fine though.", He replied him
" No problem, man", Mark said. " Just checking up on you", he said to him.
" Thanks alot ", he replied and cut the call before slumping down on his bed with a sigh.

He wanted to make Meggy pay for cheating on him when he had nothing and deciding to be with him now cos his financial fortune had changed.
The way she jumped on his offer was so funny to him because at first she rejected it , then later accepted it... He wondered "who she thought she could play mind games with?". Definitely not him who knows everything about her though.
Ever since their marriage she has tried all she could to get close to him which he had rejected all her advances so far.
She had tried to initiate things they do together in the past so as to evoke his emotions but unfortunately she failed woefully cos the only thing she succeeded in doing is raising his ire.
Everything she tried to do now ends up remembering him of the past which he had tried so much to forget because of the hurts it caused him of what could have been which her cheating destroyed.
He might have felt love for her in the past but when he looks at her now all he feels for her is hate and disgust.
All he cares about now is revenge, he wants her to pay for everything she did to him and the heartbreaks her betrayal cause both parents.
Whatever she does now won't wipe away the fact that the woman he had once love was only just playing him and that he naively believed her when she professed her love to him.
TJ was done with love , for him everything concerning relationship will be handled like a business transactions.
