My name is Neru Kata and this is story about how my life and my best friends have been turned upside down.

* Setting: inside an apartment building Neru and his best friend Itsu Gaiya are playing video games*

Itsu: Neru are you ever gonna get new games these ones are kinda boring, it's 2023 you need to get better stuff.

Neru: Well I guess your right we could go to the store right now if you want.

Itsu: Yes please let's go.

Neru: ok let me go get my keys .

*setting: 12 minutes later they arrive at a game store*

Neru: wow that was a long drive.

Itsu: it's just the traffic man people are going crazy about that new headset.

Neru: wells let get going into that store.

Itsu: YEAH lets go.

*setting: they walk into the store*

Neru: WOW there's a whole lot of games.

Itsu: Duh man it's a game store.

Neru: right, we'll go look for stuff and I mean stuff that I would like.

Itsu: yeah yeah I know loser.

Neru: (thinks: Hmm what should I buy maybe I should check over there, this looks interesting.)

Neru: ITSU come here.

Itsu: ok what is it.

Neru: look at this it's called Odd World let's go buy it.

Itsu: but I haven't got anything.

Neru: this was a visit for me not you.

Itsu: Hmph.

Neru: I would like to buy this.

Store clerk: Hmm I never seen this before, how did it get here.

Neru: I found it in the back.

Store clerk: Well I'll let you keep it for free doesn't seem to have a scan on it.

Neru: really well thank you.

Store clerk: Have a good day.

*setting: Neru and Itsu arrive back at Neru's apartment*

Neru: Time to plop this baby in.

Itsu: let's do it.

*Game starts up*

Neru: wow this have great graphics.

Itsu: Dude it says it was made in 2008.

Neru: there's no way.

Itsu: That's amazing.

Neru: let's start this.

*Game opens into a tutorial*

Itsu: A tutorial how boring -_-.

Neru: I see this game comes with a price.

*2 minutes later they finish the tutorial*

Neru: see short and easy.

Itsu: That was about 2 minutes -_-.

Neru: shut up.

Itsu: dude look their.

Neru: what is it.

Itsu: it says real mode.

Neru: let's see what it does.

Itsu: yeah I'm interested.

*They press the button to start real mode*

Neru: Nothings happening.

Itsu: yeah what a rip o-

*Bright lights flash and ambient noises play*

Neru: Itsu what just happened.

Itsu: Neru look we aren't in the room anymore.

Neru: Itsu I t-think we are in the game.

Itsu: WHAAAATTTTTT.

Neru: I think I understand why it was called Real Mode.

Itsu: well turn it off.

Neru: Does it look there is buttons Itsu.

Itsu: oh god we're stuck in a game, wait WERE STUCK IN A GAME.

Neru: Whats the change of attitude.

Itsu: there was a whole lotta hot babes on the cover and were like the main characters.

Neru: that is true but why do you worry about that.

Itsu: Dude you know I'm a virgin.

Neru: huh.

Itsu: my virgin life will finally end.

Neru: well before we do anything we need to find a town or something.
