Fourth chapter

Three students took Alison to the infirmary, at that time it was Samantha, Liz and Luan.

The same nurse who treated the white-haired boy on the exam was there.

-Don't worry, he's fine, he'll wake up in a little while," the nurse said.

When everyone had left, she patiently waited for Alison to wake up, looking worried about something.

The boy woke up, after a few minutes, somewhat dazed and with a pain in his abdomen. He was lying on one of the beds in the room. The nurse noticed the boy's movements and sat down next to him.

-I don't know how you managed to get into this school. You have too many scars on your chest and back, what happened to you?

Alison responded, sighed and said

-These are consequences of the war. Nothing important.

-Your comrades would be terrified to see you, please avoid that at all costs.

-Okay, I'll try.

-Here is a cream to reduce the pain you will have for a few days.

The nurse had a report on Alison's health in her hand, and wrote down several things about it.

-It's best to avoid being with the group, it's disturbing to see those cuts on a person, even if they're almost healed," she added.

-I'm going to try to prevent that from happening, don't worry.

Alison got out of bed and walked out.

With some concern, the nurse sat in her chair and thought about what was even happening as Alison left the room.

The teacher was with a cure on his head, some laughing at what was happening. He was serious and when Alison arrived, he simply taught us certain things, and did not continue with physical shocks.

When we finished the class surrounded Alison and congratulated him, but he was indifferent to that.

Shortly after, we all headed back to the classroom. When we arrived at the classroom our course director told us it was time to choose a representative.

Alison said she would not participate in this and left the room. No one commented on this, as Alison seemed not to like being in a group, and she had shown this for days.

Then 5 volunteers left the room, of which Saul was the representative.

He had blond hair and black eyes, he didn't seem to be very strong, but he had speech, to talk with everyone. The salon was satisfied, and Alison did not return, the professor without more than saying sent us to rest.

As I was heading to my room Liz came up to me.

-Hello, can I come with you to talk to Alison?

-...., yes," she answered.

At the time, I thought it was a confession for Alison, so I opened the door a little nervously.

We both opened the door to the room, but he wasn't there, so Liz lay down on the unoccupied bed.

-Do you feel nervous about us being alone here," she said.

-She said, "No," and he replied, "In a way I was right, I didn't understand what was going on and I didn't know how to react.

She took out her cell phone and ignored it all the time, it was a relief, I did the same thing, and I avoided looking at her, I felt uncomfortable, I wanted to take off these clothes but she was here, expecting what I was doing.

The minutes passed and almost half an hour later Alison arrived, opened the door and entered.

-Hello," Liz said.

-What is she doing here," asked Alison.

-She came looking for you, but since you weren't there, she stayed here.

Liz immediately went over to him, and said something in his ear, and when she saw them almost leave. I spoke.

-Don't worry, you can talk, and I'll leave the room so you can talk in peace.

The two boys stayed in the room.

Liz quickly approached Alison, and lay down on her back.

-What did you think of the school?

-Ah.... A prison...we can't get out of here. Tell me, why are you interested in Luan, why did you group with him?

-He doesn't interest me, but you do. I know that you are an irregular, and you try to hide it.

-How do you know that?

-I'm an irregular too, I can see people's memories. I can see people's memories. In you I can't, so I came to that conclusion and started looking into the memories of people close to you.

-Interesting, and why were you interested in me?

-Well, as I discovered, the government can do it too. You know they have created some new methods to decant irregulars. You could be discovered for having so much energy circulating in your body, and if you came in here, obviously they will investigate and they will catch me too.

-Is that all? -I know how to hide my condition.

-A sophomore named Adrian started telling Samantha things about you, and you have to be careful, she can find out about you, so I wanted to talk to you.

-When did that happen?

-A few days ago, so try to get along with her and make friends with her now that we're teammates.

-Liz, do you trust me that much? I could be mean and do something to you.

-Don't make me laugh, Alison. You were interested in that boy at one point or another. And you put him in your bet, yet you still care about his health

-Liz, you don't know anything about me.... but well, a help like yours I can't refuse. I only have one condition, help me with Luan, get close to him, and make him your friend like I did.

She hugged Alison from behind. He was serious, and didn't make any gestures, so Liz continued, and put a necklace on him.

-I have something that could help you, with this necklace you will be able to know when he is very hurt. I even have two, since you are an electrical irregular, with your energy you can activate both.

-And what is the other one for?

-With it you can find out how the boy is doing, when he changes to orange it's because he has a problem or a serious injury, when it's red it's serious, when it's black, it's because he died.

-Are you kidding? Where did you get this?

-Alison, deal or no deal.

The crimson-eyed boy was a little surprised by that blue-haired girl, he didn't know whether to trust her or not, but he had no choice, she had found out, and if what he said was true, he knew everything.

-Okay, I accept, your proposal, but what do you want in return?

-Your protection. I know that you are not a normal irregular, you were probably made in a laboratory, or am I wrong?

-Liz, let's not talk about that. Tell me, is someone after you or what?

-Some groups, criminals are looking for irregulars like me, and I would feel safer if I was with someone with your power.

-Okay, it's a deal, I'll protect you.

Luan walked through the bedroom corridors, these had a beautiful design, with soft colors. The first floor to the second floor, this was designed in a harmonious way and away from the next block about six meters away. Separated by a fountain. In two there were small statues with two birds.  I noticed that the group of friends had already been quickly formed, in each room.

A few students still in their uniforms passed by him, emulating superiority, the boy concluded that they were the ones in the first room, and so they behaved in that way, he ignored us, and went to the cafeteria, but one of them stopped and spoke to him.

-You are from the second room right.

Luan turned his face around and answered.

-Yes, why?

-Do you know Alison?

-Tell her to go to room one, it's the best and not to hang out with the underdogs, together we'll be the best in the state and....

-I'm sorry, Alison is very reserved, and doesn't like to call attention to herself, she prefers to be alone," interrupted Luan.

-Child, I know what kind of trash you are, your Ce is 80, I was there when you took the exam, bend your head. I asked you to talk to him, not to answer for him, do you understand?

The four students in the first room approached Luan and cornered him.

-I'm sorry, I'll tell you, I'm leaving.

One of them took him by the shirt.

-Child, have more respect for the superiors, even though we are first-year students, we are superior to you. Keep your head down when you see us.

Surrounded by four Luans he felt trapped in the typical school bullying, but for his luck, someone was passing by.

-First year students, what do you do?

Because of his pose, and his badge in his representative, he was the president of the school's student council. Snaider Fernandez.

-Eh....nada solo lo saludo....

-He is my cousin, don't bother him, they understood...

They didn't respond, and left as fast as they could.

-Why did you help me?

-I know you're Hana's cousin, I wasn't going to let them bother you.

-Thank you. Thank you. I have to go.

-Wait, how is Alison doing?

-Uh...She's getting better, the swelling in her arms has gone down.

Luan began to think, as Snaider knew what happened yesterday, and was not aware of his own health, brother. He didn't want to ask him any more questions, but he spoke first.

-Be careful, because you are a freshman, you are easy prey for the upperclassmen who love to bother you.

-Okay, I'll keep that in mind.
